The Bedouin Moon.
At the end of a dusty road north of Dahab bay, where the
Sinai mountains seem to kiss the sea, lies the Bedouin Moon Hotel.
You can watch the lazy, wind-ruffled waves of the Red Sea
lap the shore from any of its sea-view rooms or from the front
terrace, where breakfast (lunch and dinner too if you want
it) are served. On a clear day, and, frankly in this part
of the world, it's seldom anything but, you can see Saudi Arabia
just across the water. The hotel is just 2km from the hustle
and bustle of the bay area, a short walk or even shorter Sterling
£1 taxi ride away for the lazy. Newly built features include games
and Yoga room and nestled at the base of the mountain
Which is gently illuminated lies the swimming pool and bar.
Built in traditional Arabic style and tastefully decorated, with
Bedouin-style furnishings, the hotel was the first Bedouin-owned
and operated hotel in Dahab. Our beachfront has sun-loungers,
cushions and mats and plenty of shade. All 26 rooms are en-suite,
many with air conditioning and unrivalled sea views across the
Gulf of Aqaba. The hotel restaurant offers Western and local food
that suits Veggies and meat eaters alike. Reception is staffed
24-hours a day. We hope you find it a perfect setting to experience
and share in the generous culture of the Sinai Bedouin that will
make you want to return again and again.
