If you are in town in august the Harlem Week/Harlem Jazz & Music Festival is an annual summer festival with food, art, concerts, seminars, music and street entertainment. The Urban World Film Festival also takes place in August every year. Year round there are also gospel singers on Sundays at the Gothic-style Abyssinian Baptist, Canaan Baptist and Metropolitan Baptist.
