The Eads Bridge was the first structure built to cross the mighty Mississippi River. At the time it was built, it was an impressive engineering achievement with its structure and decorative iron lattice supports. The Eads Bridge connects St. Louis with East St. Louis and sets between the Gateway Arch and the popular Laclede’s Landing neighborhood.

Completed in 1965, the St. Louis Gateway Arch is one of the most recognizable features in the Midwest. The Moonlight Ramble is a St. Louis tradition that happens every year in late August. The event is billed as the world’s largest nighttime bike race. The Muny is short for the St. Louis Municipal Opera. Located in Forest Park, The Muny is recognized as the nation’s oldest and largest outdoor music theater facility. Also, do not get out of your car unless you are in a well-populated and well-lit area.
