Surrounded by pastures and paddocks with white board fencing, the Middleton Inn Bed and Breakfast, sits on a knoll facing the Blue Ridge Mountains. In addition to the stables, the Middleton Inn Bed & Breakfast has several of the original dependencies on the estate: the old summer kitchen, the smoke house, the slaves' quarters and the log cabin. The historic Middleton Inn B&B, which has received the prestigious Four Diamond AAA rating, was built in 1840 by Middleton Miller who manufactured and designed the Confederate uniform during the Civil War.
