Ibis Fortaleza Centro De Eventos

Hotel is very close to Centro de Eventos, where I attended an event. This is a typical IBIS, comfortable for short stay, with vital facilities and no luxuries, clean. Breakfast was very rich and dinner was great. Lobby bar was a good place to chill after working meetings. Shopping mall with many food and drink options is 5 mins driving or some 6R$ Uber / Taxi away. Staff was very welcoming and helped a lot, although with various command of English. Overall--great place to stay if you have a business in this part of Fortaleza.

Couple of caveats. This is hotel close to Centro de Eventos, not beaches, and it takes some 20 mins to get to beach. There is another IBIS close to beach. The neighborhood is looking fine, but as usual there are risks, so follow the advice of local staff--we were told it is safe to walk to Centro de Eventos, but not to Shopping mall.
