Would have been nice to have been offered espresso at breakfast

Very nice hotel, environmentally friendly (evident bioclimatic solutions), clean, modern, practical, at in ideal location at the city center. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very kind and helpful. In the ground floor, there is very cosy all-day bar restaurant were locals enjoy their brunch, meal or cocktails. There is also a nice, cool square in front of it, with several cafes.

They charged me for late checkout despite the fact that I had also arrived late (on Friday at 22:00 and left on Sunday at 21:00). The shower, the toilet and the sink are located at different spots in the room and this seemed a bit awkward. However, someone could find it practical since it allows two people being served at the same time. Sometimes, although we closed the air-conditioning, it went on after a while. Perhaps there was a reason related with automation and energy efficiency but it would be nice if we were informed about it.

No balcony

Large room with modern look and feel. Welcome pack included Raki and snacks. Reception area is nice and radiates luxury. Nice bar right next to reception area, which was open (often not in January in Crete).

Bathroom clean but did feel dated compared to room. Breakfast good but not exceptional. The shutters that protect the room and balcony from the intense sun in the summer do limit the view in wintertime.
