I liked the huge room, we got. It was almost as big as my appartment back home. The staff was really helpfull and serviceminded. The restaurant there was also a fantastic experience.Really good food with a european touch. No

The workout room was clean and updated. Service was slow across the entire operation. Expensive - Three of us had breakfast one morning and it cost us $70 for breakfast buffet. We also used the valet to park our rental car and it was damaged in an accident when they were bringing our car around to us. Where they park your car is a block away and requires driving the vehicle in heavy traffic. It is built in to be slow with a potential for accidents. I would not stay here again.
The Hotel is Newly refreshed, and has a very nice and accommodating staff, Room was Clean and Well appointed. In a different location this would be a Four or Five Star hotel. Sorry but the negatives with noise The Hotel is on a main thoroughfare that is being used as a place for idiots to cruise blasting with speakers that rattled the windows and I was on the 12th floor. Atlanta must not have any sort of noise ordinances. It was Mf this and MF that and MF MF That was disturbing in and of its self,. But coupling the music with ambulances with wailing sirens at all hours (there is a major cardiac hospital across the street). I would not stay here or recommend this hotel because in two nights I never got a good nights sleep.
pricing It took about 30 minutes for the valet to bring our car around even thought we called 10 minutes ahead as we were told to do.
Need to upgrade your AC system!
Room service was very quick to respond to in room dinning and bringing extra things. There was a 35 min wait in valet after I called for my car and there was no indication of how long we would have to wait.
Good location to the aquarium & other tourist attractions. We had no hot water for showers even after running the water thirty minutes. This happened three times.
We enjoyed the location and room service. Valet was slow and inconvenient. Rooms were beat up and in poor condition.

Hotel location is very convenient, access to all areas near the hotel and or at walking distance. Hotel amenities, although under construction and/or renovation were acceptable ( I refer ti the pool). Fitness room and facilities is a plus . Not that I don't like but that was not always available, the concierge services in my case would have make a difference.
This hotel has a pretty good location for Georgia Tech visitors. The rate was much lower than others, probably due to the fact that it was under construction. No free coffee after 9 am -- who gets up before 9 am on a Sunday? At 9:04 it was long gone. It's like making it look like you are giving away something for free but not really doing it. The hotel will probably look nice in a few more months, but lots of drywall, and some jack hammering. Also, it's right next to Emory Hospital, so more than a few sirens. The sliding doors need to be replaced -- they leak like a sieve. Also, my Mac can never connect to the WiFi in the rooms. Down in the lobby it's not a problem, but something about the Access Point upstairs isn't happy with my laptop.

Online at checkin I followed the prompts and requested a room with a view. Wife and I stayed in town for a Fox Theater visit. The room we had was one of the latest round of renovations called live/work. It was average to small size acceptable of a downtown room. The room was extremely clean and and the furnishings were leisurely and new. There were about 6 USB plugs in the room which was convenient for gadgets. I was obliged with a bellman to my room with my bags. He did full service including turning on all the lights and opening the blinds to the skyline view. I think there have been major renovations in this hotel and the older reviews on this site do not at all reflect the hotel in found.
