Staff was excellent, although their restaurant recommendations should be taken with a pinch of salt, there are far better places in barcelona for those willing to walk. Room was very nice, very clean and good value for money. The hostel is a bit hidden in a back alley behind a larger hotel and it is a bit tricky to find the first time. Check ins are only handled between 15-18, a bit annoying to find out as there isnt much to do in the immediate neighborhood. You can not wear shoes in doors, however, you are given a pair of disposable slippers upon checing in.
the roof-top terrace is a great place to relax. the walls are quite thin. it's a rather quiet atmosphere, but you hear people getting up and taking a shower.
