The best family hotel I've ever been- probably the best vacation we ever had. Very nice interior, great location, very-very kind staff- Thank you to all of you!! -
We had the best welcome all times. A lady called Betsy seemed to take care of everything, she was charming, efficient and made us feel very welcome. The place is magical.
everything was excellent , service , rooms , really one of the best I have ever seen in our country ... no
Very helpful staff and beautiful apartment.
This is a new bespoke designed hotel. All the rooms are individual apartments, individually designed to a high standard. The whole atmosphere of the hotel was warm and welcoming. Staff were superb and very helpful.
excellent reception, restaurant, fireplace... small room, old style dark furniture
The staff was great, even a marvelous piano player in the lobby/bar.
The staff were really kind and helpful. Would have liked a spa/ sauna, but know it will be there next year.
+ Restaurant was very nice. All staff was very kind, and helpful. We stayed with baby,,but they made us feel very comfortable. - Room was small.
The Restaurant was an experiment with you the Guinea Pig.
The owner and staff were extemely friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. The food was particularly of high quality. The room was rather small and the bathroom required updating, in order to conform with a four star rating. I understand that the recession may have held back the updating.
Well located (150m from the lifts), super nice staff, great kitchen, good price Waiting for their Jacuzzi/SPA area to complete (Summer 2010)
Excellent couisine, the best value/quality of meals in the village, very good vine chart
i like the service the food and the location. The design of the hotel is impressive The beds were too soft and the heating in the afternoon was week.I was disappointed from lack of Sauna or fitness room and the small room
Junior Suite very nice Breakfast little poor for the price of the room - generally quite expensive compared to what you get.
Staff truely excellent and food fantastic. Infact probably the best food I have ever had on a half board basis. Will recomend it to everyone and would love to visit again!
Fantastic location only metres away from chair lifts, friendly staff and exceptional meals included in the "Half Board" tarrif.
Very proffessional but friendly and welcoming too
Convenient location, perfect cleanliness of the room, impressive vine list at the restaurant, very good food for dinner (a la carte).
Very clean room. They tidied up and cleaned the room every day. The breakfast buffet was very satisfactory with big variety of food, fruit and drinks. Big parking available and the bus stop was very close to the hotel. The staff did not speak English well at all. Because of our flight we arrived later than planned, and when I called to let them know, I couldn't communicate with the receptionist. I had to tell someone from the street to speak on the phone and translate for me...
The hotel is nice and clean. Breakfast is good. The rooms are big and spacious. Great value for money. The hotel is far from the town center so driving is needed always.
The evening meal was very good.
Very kind, friendly and helpfull staff. The food in the restaurant is simple, but good compared to the prices. You need a car to get to the ski area. The staff do not speak english, but it is possible to communicate anyway. No internet.
Very comfotable, clean room Unwelcoming staff; unable to have evening meal - we were told the restaurant was closed at 8pm!
The room was nice. The meals in the restaruant were great and reasonably priced. We received a great recommendation to visit the Bard Fortress. It was not on our plan, but turned out to be an excellent destination.
Well situated hotel for skiing if you have a car, 20 minutes from Cervinia. Quiet and cleen with quite good food. No nightlife nearby suites people dedicated for skiing. A bit difficult to communicate with the staff in other language than italian.
Breakfast was good, including fresh fruit and meat/cheese trays. Rooms were newly remodelled, and cleaned well everyday (although we did not receive new soap, shampoo, and cups -- fortunately we had some of our own). Dining staff was friendly and helpful. Price was reasonable at 100 euros / night. Town of Maen was small and had limited services, but most importantly logistics to ski slopes was difficult. From the description, I thought the hotel was located much closer to the ski resort but in fact was located outside the main resort area. thus, the free ski bus only picked up once on the morning and returned once on the afternoon. If you stay 1 km closer, the bus picks up and drops off every hour, sometimes twice an hour. The bus from/to Chatillion/Cervinia only came by very early in the morning (6:30am, but you miss breakfast) or mid-morning (10:00 am), which was not convenient for skiing; the return times were reasonable.
The room were very cleaned. The hotel was a little void because it was at the begining of winter time, so the breakfast, for example, was not complete as said by the waiter. The parking area is small. If the occupancy of the hotel is full, it must be a problem. And it is in a place that you do need a car to arrive at cervinia - it is 8 km to the sky area.
Nice view, good food. No English was spoken in the hotel.
