Good location, you can go to Verona, Venece or Milan. You neen to buy everything: tissue, soap, wahing dishes facility. And take your bed lining or rent for 40 euro. Our room didn't has a window.
The ability to use the hotel facilities, location and open spaces. View was fantastic! Fantastic overall. Def will go again but maybe not in high season as seems very expensive especially as do not play golf... Staff spoke good languages and were very pleasant The residence reception closed part way through stay but was end of October so understandable and some services not available for same reason.
Very nice situation inside beautiful golf course. Good kitchen in Glub restaurant. Rooms in apartments are modest, but the prises are cheap also. Nice place for that price.
The golf course, the open spaces and the various swimming Pools The Room Fixtures and fittings were cheap, The bed was the most uncomfotable bed I have ever slept in
Good value for money as the swimming pool of the 4-star hotel can be used
the staff very helpfull , quit and comfortbell i stay 4 night on the this hotel the living room had proplem with the air condtion from first day,i ts take 3 night untel they ask me to change the apartment and no bady come to fix it up until i left.
The kids liked the pool at the best. Countryside with lot of plants and the golf course was our favourite. The receptionists was quite unpolite, unfriendly and with lot of failiures in her work. She forgot to give us the key, then she forgot to tell us that there arent any bet sheets in app, and finaly when we wanted to extend our visit for one day, she could not find the place for us, while after several tries we succedded in the same room - there was vacancy but she didnt want or didnt know to find...
It was quiet and was a good location to visit other sights. The staff did not speak such good English/German and did not give us much information about the hotels amenities. We learnt more from other guests.
Golf course; restaurant wasn't too bad either. We booked a two bedroom apartment and upon arrival were only offered a one bedroom apartment! There was no choice but we had to sleep in a one bedroom apartment for the first night and could only move in the two bedroom apartment after that. What a nuisance with all the luggage and Golf bags!!!! Really disappointing was that the hotel did not offer us a refund or some sort of voucher (eg. dinner voucher etc.) for the inconveniences they caused.
Hotel staff is very nice. Facilities are renewd and nice. Nice view. Excellent for families with kind.
The staff were efficient, courteous, professional and friendly. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well appointed. Food and bar service was good and the breakfasts provided were more than substantial and good quality. The hotel has great views and is in a fantastic location for enjoying the benefits of Lake Garda and the surrounding area. We even jumped on the train at the local station for a direct fast train link to Venice. PERFECT! The only improvement that I could see was that the mattress in the room was exceptionally hard.
there was no entertainment in the hotel for the guests , you had to go down to the animation area .
It was a very family friendly hotel with great access to local sights and to the lake.
Excellent for staying with kids.
The hotel was very clean and the surrounding really great. The location is also very good. The breakfast was very very poor with a very limited choice. During our stay the lift was out of order for three whole days.
good small hotel, basic equipment, for families with children
the breakfast fits children's needs, the children area near the dining room is an excelent idea which gives parents some free time Nothing
Great staff very helpful considering we were a group of 6 bikers staying.
G The rooms where not clean enough especially the floor and furniture, the mattress had most of the springs that could be counted!!! We booked because we thought it was good value for money but than we had to pay for towels, linen and cleaning!!!!!
The place is great and centrally located
The place is very new and well looked after. Rooms are big, airy and have good sized windows providing ample light Had to pay for: Cleaning (at end of trip), Sheets and Towels. I feel they should incorporate these into the price as they are hidden expnses. Also hotel does not accept any form of credit cards
All the swimming pools was closed (without any reason). The final cleaning was 30 Eur, the booking price not included it, and it was unknown untill we arrived to the aparman, after check in.
The Gardaland Hotel Resort is a nice hotel for family vacations. A little bit pricey but very clean and comfort...
The comfort and cleanliness. Easy to find, well indicated. No
Friendly staff, good quality services restrictions on parking in the complex
Very clean, well organised, staff were friendly, nice surroundings Very expensive for what you get. Buffet breakfast was ok, plenty of food etc but quality probably not the highest standard.
The hotel surroundings are nice, and the rooms tastefully decorated Food was pretty poor in comparison to other hotels in Italy. Also, felt a little like was on a conveyor belt system, polite though the staff were, we still were ushered in and out of the dining room as quickly as they could move us.
We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this hotel.
Nothing special The service at the restaurant
kids entertainments it's a fairy place for kids and calm for adults it's far for the city and close to gardalandpark
The bed was so poor that it was almost hilarious to try to sleep on it, get serious if you want to keep your customers!
The hotel is located between Sirmione en Lazise (and Bardolino en Garda). We used it, because it had everything and was cheap in comparison to other hotels, to get around and didn't stay much at the hotel itself. It's a themepark hotel so you should not be afraid of kids. The room was good. Big enough, good bathroom with everything in it. Airconditioning, widescreen tv, fridge, was all availabele. Even internet via a cable in the room for 3,- per 24h The window in the room was too high up which made the room look a bit unfriendly.
The breakfast was the best we had during our entire italy trip... The hotel was new and the suite we stayed in had a great view of the pool and the lake.. The hotel was very conveniently located and definitely one of the best around those we saw...
The hotel was new and very up to date, the rooms were large and we had a lake view , some do not,the spa was excellent and the whole hotel is very relaxing. The location is excellent The evening experience was limited , the Bar area was not being used at all until later and even then it was spasmodic. It was very quiet in the evening
Modern setting near the lake. Modern nice, clean and spacious rooms. Good accommodations like up-to-date fitness, sauna, nice in- and out-door swimming pools. Spacious indoor parking. Wireless internet is missing. But other free internet via TV is available.
The location and facilities, particularly the pool areas and gardens were simply beautiful.
The location is superb, one of the best area's on Lake Garda. The hotel is one of the best modern hotels I have stayed in. Food, staff, facilities and rooms were top class.
Very cheap in October and quiet, easy to get to near by supermarket and town to catch buses and trains around the lake Need to bring your own toilet paper, rooms a bit like prison cells, the camp sites pretty much closed down in October (no supermarket, restaurant or swimming pools)
We stayed at Camping del Garda with my mom during 7-12 May and had wonderful time there. The campsite is actually overlooking the Lake Garda. The Lake itself is really beautiful - there are many small towns on it worth visiting. We made a trip around the lake by ship - took it to Malcesine and back (20.40 Eur return per 1 adult)and it was really nice. At Malcesine there is a funiculer which takes you to the highest mountain where you can overlook the Lake (14 Eur). The Peschiera del Garda town, where the campsite is, is really nice as well and worth visiting. The campsite is also 15 min walk from the Peschiera railway station which is really handy. There are also few supermarkets around (we visited 2 so far) - Migros and Penny. Peny is really cheap one. They both are off Monte Baldo street and about 7-10 minutes walk from the campsite. There are also 2 restourants at the camp, we tried just one - Garda, where we had lovely risotto with sea products - with all the shells and huge king prawn on top :) The bungalow that we stayed at (Pini site)was lovely - clean and comfy. You have fridge, plates, cutlery, teapot, saucepans there. Also duvets and pillows. You can rent the bed linen as well for 9 Eur per change. You will need to bring your own toilet paper, soaps, cleaning stuff and towels though. Alternatively, you can buy all this at the nearest supermarket. We also had the small travelling iron with us, although there is a laundry on the site. The temperature inside it can be regulated by the airconditioning, which we used to make us warm at the night :) There is also a small safe in the room which you can use for free (at least when you stay with Active hotels). The pull was just few metres from our bungalow, but wasn't working since it opens from 11 of May. The second pull on the other sde was open, but it wasn't too hot to swim a the beginning of May. The weather was aroung 15-20 degrees, quite few raines, but we got to catch a bit of sun and had few hours of sunbath at our bungalow terrace (which is beautiful with chairs, table and low chairs provided). There is also an option to take train to Venice (1.50 h and 7.90 Eur single) or Verona (15 min and 2.35 Eur). Trains Regionale are the cheapest. btw don't forget to validate your train tickets at the yellow boxes otherwise they are not valid. The staff was very friendly and helpful and provided us with all the information we needed including printed maps and timetables. They do speak English, German and I think Dutch in additon to Italian. The people in the Town mostly don't speak English (except young students and shoolchildren), so it's worth to prepare some general phrases in Italian for yourself in a case of buying smth at railway station or if you need some help from them. The weather in May is not that hot, so if you want a lot of sunbath and swimming go in the Summer
Campsite itself was reasonable and in a nice location by lake and town. Staff were helpful. Good bar and a big screen for the World Cup! "Apartment" accomodation was dreadful - small, old and dated. AirCon, fridge and stove were useless. Bunk bed had broken edge and missing rung on ladder. Kids club was poor compared to French experience last year. Pool slides were disappointing.
Cheap, good location, well organised, staff spoke excellent english. if your staying in a tent your packed in very tightly wih other people
Very good for families with small children and for access to Lake Garda
great location.nice, tidy apartments. The kitchen is well equipped. The restaurant on the site is really great.
Silence, greenery, nice and helpful stuff, perfect lokation for the attractions. We didn't like the brick bungalow / apartment/.It was very old and dark, but we told to the reception and they were very polite and gave us mobile home which was perfect.
every thing are very nice and fair. nice people, without any problems.
Just by the train station; 10 minutes form Verona Center. Nice staff, even they didn's speak English, we had a perfect communication! Generally good.
The receptionist vas not very polite. Perhapse because we came around 10:00 in the evening. We had to pay the room immediatelly because we were leaving the place next morninig arround 07:00 a.m. Of course, he charged us the breakfast but we couldn't have it because they start with breakfast at arround 07:30 a.m. We couldn't get not even the coffe. The hotel is situated 10 metrrs from the railway. If you open the windows during the night you will probably stay awake all night.
The hotelier gave us a warm feelinig like being at home
The location, views and golf facility No
friendly staff, good food. Rooms a good size with great facilities none
The Gof Hotel was a great place to relax, enjoy good food and take in the views. Room service could have been better.
The breakfast buffet, free parking, nice and clean rooms The location wasn't that great, it is a strange place for a hotel. There also was nothing to do in the hotel.
Very modern hotel, very good breakfast, nice staff very vgood value for the money
room, breakfast, bed
very modern hotel great design locate 20 min from verona and 20 min from garda. the stuff was nice the breakfeast is good. the hotel was a little bit empty in october, nothing to do around the hotel.
It is a beautiful property, amazing decor, quiet, with a good central location 15 minutes drive from Verona or Garda. One of the most modern and interesting places I've stayed anywhere. This was a real find... LOVED this place!
This is a 10!! The palce would deserve 4 stars- wonderfully decorated, great atmosphere -rooms are huge, beds so comfortable! Super helpful staff and the owner/manager even offered a drive to the airport which was really helpfull as due to current road closure it's a bit confusing. Absolutely fantastic restaurant - imaginative menu and a superb chef - I'd recommend this place even if you're not searching for a hotel close to the airport! Definitely my best hotel experience in Italy (in over 15 years)
The breakfast The shower was plugged up and water all over the floor
As a relatively new hotel, the staff and especially the night manager, went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one.
Spa in this hotel is just what you need after a road trip through Italy. Marco was so helpful and attentive, thanx a lot!
The hotel and rooms were very new and clean. The breakfast was excellent as well as pool area.
