We had two people poking around outside our 2nd floor window around 8pm during our stay. They looked like they knew exactly what they were doing. When we went to the window, the guys tried to hide out of our site. We called the front desk and they sent someone to the roof to chase the guys away, but we were already really uncomfortable with the situation. Also- our window didn't lock! It was pretty sketchy to say the least. We gave management the chance to redeem our experience, but they shrugged it off saying it was probably some guys wanting to drink on the roof. Wow. You would think they'd offer to cover the room or at least offer a discount. We had a 10 month year old baby with us! Brutal hospitality, when it comes down to it. Could have been avoided with just some concern from their part!
The price was good. It's close to downtown Flagstaff I didn't feel so safe in this room..the windows were very close to the road and very very thin also. The staff members were careless.
It was cheap rates. But this hotel needs lots of physical work in the rooms, maintained on the fair side but definitely an older hotel. holes in walls, cracks in bathroom, although new tile in bathroom/shower. It was clean enough for a one night sleep and shower.
the pricing and location of this hotel were very reasoanble. the staff was very cold and unfriendly
The location was great. Breakfast is not worth showing up for but you can walk to The Place for that. Phones don't work. Small but clean. Good for one person.
Friendly and helpfull staff, clean descent rooms, well located between Sedona and the grand canyon
Fridge, TV, bed, heater and plumbing all worked. Room was cleaned OK. Free mini donuts and mediocre coffee in the morning. It was fine, nothing weird. Bits on mildew in the bathroom window could use a good scrub.
I wanted to stay somewhere in historic flagstaff near my favorite restaurants. I was surprised to find a place that was in this location that was so inexpensive. I arrived super late and I checked in and it was perfect for what I needed for the night.
The owners were very nice and know about the area. The room was very basic, but adequate and clean. Beds were comfortable. They could certainly improve their breakfast. And it would be nice if shampoo would be provided. Almost all motels do now and so I didn't take any.
The proximity to downtown. Decent value during on-season. It's a beatmeal, bare bones situation. The continental "bread-fest" is a bit of a bummer. The outlets are old and have a difficult time keeping hold of whatever is plugged into them. Pray that you're not showering at the same time as any of your neighbors, burrrrr!
Nothing. This place is the worst. Let me explain. I'm not a fussy traveler. I like cheap motels because I'd rather spend my travel money in the adventure outside... But this motel was terrible. The worst. The sheets were dirty. When I turned down the covers there were hairs on the sheets. The bathtub had dirty washcloths in it. I would have turned around and payed for another motel except my daughter was sick in the car and needed a place to puke into a toilet- so we stayed the night. But that is the only circumstance that would have kept me in that place. Terrible. Horrible. Dirty.
I liked that it was the cheapest in town, that it was clean and quiet most definitely and that it was centrally located! A little old, and had an odd smell. Not a bad one, but odd. One that you got used to though.
The hotel i ideally located within the centre of flagstaff within easy reach of shops and restaurants. The room was also clean and comfortable. The hotel management were a little unhelpful.
- location was perfect (Amtrak in walking distance) - clean rooms - horrible smell in my room (room no. 119!!), had to wash all my clothes after my stay
Nothing The lady at the desk was not friendly at all. And the room was terrible. The tub was so dirty we didn't use it. And the room was so small. We will never stay there again or refer it to anybody. Other things but not enough characters left.
I knew the hotel wasn't a 5 Star but this hotel was by far the worst experience I have ever had. The front desk employee was very nice but didn't have any power. Everything was awful. If it hadn't been last minute I would have gone somewhere else. The 'Queen' beds were a Full, the closet door wouldn't close, the bathroom had holes, there was a nice turd left in the toilet and the manager had no sympathy.
Location Yes it stunk the rooms were run down and filthy. Staff were not rude but also not nice
It was cheap. Hotel employee at the front desk seemed ambivalent that our room keys reset every time we left the room, would not give us an additional blanket (the one on the bed was threadbare), and offered no solution to the fridge in our room not working. Very
close ness to train station ye the shower was terribil no water presure not much shower
Excellent location and friendly staff Room smelled like old people
Walking distance to where I was going and pet friendly. The price I had to pay for a one star hotel
Good bed with lots of pillows. Very easy to get comfortable. No Smoking anywhere in motel.
Location close to the Amtrak station. No complaints.
location. everything else.
Location Double Charged and a pain to get my money back.
