Simply brilliant, great rooms, amazing view, superb breakfast, friendly staff. One minor items was that the water in the swimming pool is not heated. It is a really nice pool located in a beautifull garden, but because of the temparature in September you cannot stay in it very long.
Everything about this "Erlebnisfarm" was delightful and superb: the staff, the rooms, fantastic location and wonderful view. Don't let "farm" fool you: The owners are so polite and warm, and have created a modern, very peaceful and stylish place to stay with an almost perfect eye for detail and cleanness. It just holds 6 rooms, almost all luxury available, 4 stars. Only thing "missing" is a swimming pool and restaurant, but that would spoil the character. Every room has a sun-deck facing the Bodensee overlooking the village with the Alps mountains in the background, also a garden to sit in. Plenty good restaurants available within 5-15 minutes walking distance (slight) downhill to Hagnau, and the Bodensee swimming / beach very nearby. The owner produces splendid (very offordable wines) and excellent (expensive) destillirtes, buy or at least taste some. The breakfasts are awesome: excellent breakfast room with outside views and varied breakfast buffet including fruits, eggs cooked to your liking and every kind of muesli that one can think of.
Nice quiet area It would have been better value for money if they were able to offer a service along the lines of a spa. It gives the impression of being a spa, relaxing hotel with none of the spa facilities.
This hotel sits in a vineyard with a beuatiful view over Hagenau and The huge lake beyond. The couple who run this place are absolutely delightful people and the place is spotless and well furnished. You can sit in a nice patio garden to admire the view and even have some of the wine made onsite. The food is great! The next time we go we will stay longer! It would be a great stay for families also
Fabulous location, views, amenities, comfort, indulgence and hosts. Could be clearer regarding parking restrictions.
The breakfast was very good. The location and view was spectacular. It was in the nicest area of the bodensee. Overall it was a GREAT hotel! The glass walled bathroom/toilet could be made a little less see through
Breakfast is good. Hotel people are very hospitable hotel rate seems higher, but depends on how you enjoy on the purpose.
The countryside around and the breakfast room are wonderful. this hotel is not a 4 stars and not suitable for business. They haven't services for people that travel without car!!! I can recommend but not for my situation I was there for a fair!!! For these reason prices are too high
Very nice hotel, confortable, cleen, staff friendly, professional and very likeable, Breakfast plentiful and very good wine, rooms are very quiet and well-treated... certainly we come back to visit.
My friend and I traveled throughout Germany for 12 days with the primary purpose of visiting her elderly Aunt in Weimar. We stayed at the SeeHotel for three nights. It was adjacent to the train station and very close to Lake Constance. We checked in and were given two single rooms on the 5th floor. We entered the elevator and there was no 5th floor. I returned to the reception desk and ask and was told by the receptionist that we needed to take the elevator to the 4th floor and then climb the very long staircase to the 5th floor. I was astonished! My friend and I are physically healthy women in our 50's but to have to carry my 50 pound suitcase up a long flight of stairs at a 3-4 star hotel was just outrageous.
The situation - perfect location, breakfast excellent, friendly reception staff. It was also surprisingly quiet and easy to relax. Rooms comfortable and nice balcony. disappointed by roof garden - this could be developed with Liegen / sunloungers for relaxation. Restaurant layout a little unappealing.
The location next to lake constance was superb. great views and great hotel. Not applicable.
Fantastic location. Central to lake at sea promenade and ferries.Lots going on and fun. Great variety of restaurants nearby. We took a ferry to Meersburg..great!! Drove to Switzerland.(Rorschash.swam in lake there).approx 1.5 hours and through Austria..a great recomendation from the staff.A/C great on a hot weekend.Parking garage seemed very secure.I was impressed w/Bookings.com on all my hotels(Munich,Garmisch,Friedrichshafen)no issues at all.I needed more time there. Breakfast was not up to 4 star but that is not why we were there.
Friendliness, convenience, and a perfect location. Excellent breakfasts. The hotel does not provide WIFI internet connection in rooms nor in the public lounge. They provide one computer terminal for guests to use but only one and it was faulty when I was there. Otherwise it is a perfect hotel.
Location The pillow was too small. There was no shampoo in the room. The soap dispenser at the sink did not work.
Location is perfect. Easy walk from there to see that town. It's very close to the station and taxis for transport to airport and/or businesses. No
Hotel is clean and comfortable and the location is excellent, close to the station and the lakeside. The staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. some added extras rediculously expensive ie. internet, breakfast, bathrobes and towels for sauna etc.
Great Staff and nice Hoteldesign . The Hotel is located at the railstation and centre . Easy to find , easy to get rid of your car . Bar is great , Breakfast more then enough . Additional prices for Outside Parking , Wifi - Internet is not really liked and could be included in Room price . Badroom was not 100% ok : ventilation wasnt working , Shower did fluctuate between the right water temperature and to hot water : adjusting was always needed . Technical maintenance is needed for little things that would need to be 100% in this 4 star hotel .
Good location. It is just next to the station and lake side.
Location. I made my reservation through Booking.Com nearly a month in advance. Apparrently there are two cities with the same name and same address to the hotel...as we found ourselves over an hour away from where we needed to be (a heads up would be nice for planning purposes). By the time we reached the hotel we had been traveling over 20 hrs..flight from US then driving time, only to find out the hotel had only booked one room where I had reservered 2. It was a mess and a hassel we would rather have done without. The staff was very apologetic, and we received one night free, but still!
location and price. No frills but perfect for the Fakuma Plastics fair. could do with more shower gel...
The hotel parking and the fact it's located on a main road caused a lot of lost sleep from car fumes. The carpet was very dirty, but the rest of the place was lovely and the staff very nice.
The place was very noisy (on the road), the room rather small, carpets dirty.
breakfast was poor.
The hotel was relativly close to the business event that we went to. Parking was good and convenient Excessive noise (close to the main road). The wireless internet connection was not working properly.
Very clean and comfortable; newly furbished;well positioned; friendly atmosphere.
Hotel is different from mainstraim commercial hotels Had to take a taxi to the lake as it was a 10 minute taxi journey to far to walk
Friendly staff, nice room, swimming pool noisy in the mornings due to road traffic
The first quality is the rooms confort. The second is the high level of the wellness services like the swimmingpool and the naturist center with sauna and steam-bath. Very generous was the breakfast with many things to choose. Very spacious is the parkingplace.
Room was too small for the double bed and desk Restaurant was good but not excellent
The hotel is situated in a quiet type of surroundings, but only about 5 minutes from the central town. The rooms and the rest of the hotel is really nicely designed and I would definitely recommend it.
Friendliness and attentiveness of staff, cleanliness of rooms and the quality of food in the breakfast buffet and at dinner. The selection of local wines is also of good quality. Free WiFi was also very good - better than most 5* hotels! All round this hotel represented very good value for money. I booked a room through Ryanair. It was supposed to be a single occupancy of a double room. The room turned out to be a single. (It was more than adequate with a reasonable sized desk for work so I did not complain). Minor road noise even with the windows closed. This is not that obtrusive and guests in rooms on the other side of the building complex would probably not hear anything.
The breakfast was rich serviced well, and the cleanliness of the room. In August you need some airconditionig or simply an air blower.
Good restaurant on site. Sauna a plus. Very friendly staff. Wireless not functional - irritating!
The room and facilities were immaculate and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The indoor pool was restful and beautiful. There was a computer available for guests which was quite helpful. There is no air conditioning and it was hot. Ceiling fans or room fans would have made a huge difference. We had to keep the window open and it was noisy because our room was over the courtyard and parking area. There also was not much of a breeze so we did not sleep well. If there was air conditioning or fans, I would recommend this hotel in the summer time but otherwise I would not.
Room and facilities were excellent. E.g. fitness, swimming pool, sauna and restaurant. We enjoyed staying there a few days
OK mog maden i restaurannten var god. Alle veje omkring var gravet op så det var svært at se hvodan det kunne se ud.
Very close to the lake and central location in the middle of the city. Please mention in your description if room is in the actual hotel or in the run down old hotel in the next sidestreet. Price was not fair for the room I got compared to the room i thought I was going to get.
position of hotel and friendly, helpful and efficient staff no air conditioning
The rooms were excellent, the hotel was very well run and the staff very helpful. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and would certainly go back. Only certain rooms have air conditioning, a fan is provided, so in the summer they can be very warm.
Friendly staff, who spoke English well.
Good restaurant and buffet breakfast, large room with balcony, very good service, swimming pool. Only shower in the room
Breakfast was outstanding. The best food and selection on our entire trip. Beautiful grounds surrounding the hotel. The hotel is advertised as being in Friedrichshafen on the Bodensee. The hotel is actually located in Ailingen and not close to any attractions. You must drive to the Bodensee.
Smoking bar No smoking rooms
The hotel was very well presented and well respected staff (good food too). Need to put flair on the outside of the hotel so you can see it from the road.
Above all, the easy, friendly atmosphere. Just that the menu could be more varied - especially for those like us staying 7 nights.
The swimming pool and spa were a pleasant surprise and made up for the out of the way location. Excellent breakfast. Room was very clean and great shower!
Efficient, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast buffet, didn't get a chance to eat in the restaurant but heard it was very good. Room too warm at night, but traffic too loud to leave windows open - must have been position of our room as my parents did not have the same problem.
The grounds of the hotel were beautiful! The junior terrace suite was large and comfortable for two adults and two small children. The service was excellent and there was always someone there that could speak English. The hotel was not very child friendly-the playground (though thankful that the hotel even had one) was in need of an update both aestetically and safety.
I found this hotel convenient to leave my car in the secure parking and travel by Metro. The staff were very helpful and although I speak a little French English was spoken. The rooms a little on the small side but clean and well serviced. Breakfast was adequate and unlike my overnight in London included in the price.
Staff are very kind. Some of the staffs only speaks Germany, but they are kind so it is not a big problem.
The staffs are really friendly and helpful. For the size of the room/ bath room, 80 Euro (basement) or 85 Euro (Ground floor) is too much. The rooms face the main street, though with good sound-proof windows; however, not possible to open the windows for fresh air. Have to go to the hotel nextby for breakfast. If the price would have been 20 Euro cheaper, I will recommend to stay here.
Small hotel, nothing special. Ok just for a stop over in your way to somewhere else. I would not spend more than one night here. It is worth to mention that the people at the hotel were very friendly. Breakfast is not served in the same hotel, you need to go to another hotel.Poor breakfast.
Conveniently located on the main street in Hagnau, the Fischerstuble provided clean facilities, friendly and accommodating service and basic comfort. While our room and bathroom were on the small side, for a one-night stay, they certainly met our needs. The room cost was reasonable, and we would not hesitate to stay there again.
Room is clean and nice. I thought the actual room looks nicer than the pictures on websites. No Shower gel. Door lock is a bit difficult to use.
There is no condition. it was very hot inside. Beside the hotel is loceted beside motorway. if you open the window, it is very noisy.
electric window blinds Communal arears were a tip. The lady was working on the hotel but had not closed. Breakfast was next door the restaurant was closed. Nowhere to put your clothes away open hanging no drawers. On a very busy main road.
Well decorated, cozy and clean room, very friendly and accomodating staff. The hotel restaurant was excellent.
very clean they didn't accept credit cards...
