Every thing about this hotel was perfect; service, design, cleanness, amenities ( indoor and outdoor swimming pools, gym, steam room) the room is perfect with amazing views. Professional and very friendly stuff. Thank you!! Mrs Bagum at the reception. None
Staff friendly , concierge service giving good guidance ,room service excellent , reception very good .i would love to visit it again. Breakfast can be better
Room Service was excellent and the location is perfect
Best Location, very near from Taksim Street , vary nice rooms and all the staff speak good english. Simply i had very good time. i can not remember any thin bad about Hilton istanbul.
the sea view was perfect also the restaurants was very much clean and beatiful I did not like the room , they gave me garden room in the mezzaneen floor ,the last thing I was expecting to stay in mezzaneen floor at hilton , it was very deficult to change the room , that is why I advise every body likes to have sea veiw to ask that before reach to the hotel , also there were no hot water in the bath room and air conditioning was not working propeply
Hotel staff were very friendly Food from room service was very bad.Did not taste fresh at all. wi fi should be free.
10mins walk to Taksim square, good facilities, quite and classy Some staff were not as welcoming or friendly as you would expect in a 5 star hotel
We liked the closeness to the centre of Istanbul Old televisions in use. I stayed at Holiday Inn for my first night. Accommodation far superior.
Very nice hotel, great view for the fireworks, very friendly staff, convenient for the conference center located just beside
The size of the room. The view and the pool The hotel is old needs renovation
The hotel was in a great location. Food was wonderful. The staff were friendly; however, the staff in the Izmir Hilton were friendlier. The room and hallways smelled of smoke despite the no smoking signs.
comfort and quiet of my room Breakfast too expensive for those who eat lightly.
The booking was not known to the hotel staff.
Location, Services , Landscape, hospitality, Gym , rooms, food
Very nice spread for breakfast and lunch. I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Istanbul for business. Upon arriving at the hotel, I learned that the hotel had incorrectly booked my reservation for two extra days at the business rate (I had booked 2 days at a lower rate, as I would be staying for leisure and did not want to pay the higher rate paid by my employer). Rather than fixing this, I was told to deal with it with my agency, even though I had a copy of the email confirming the length of my stay. For a 5-star hotel, this is an okay option--nothing special compared to others in the city. Most of their hotel staff are nice, but many (especially reservation and reception staff) are fairly complacent and could use a refresher on etiquette and courtesy.
Everything was class act. Staff, luggage storage, room, cleanliness. Gym
Our hotel was large and spacious with nice view and one of the best bathrooms I have seen in a hotel yet... Completely recommend.
Exceptionally helpful and polite staff. We arrived during the recent demonstrations and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we arrived at the hotel safely. Food at the restaurant the best we ate in Turkey. The combination of fresh boutique hotel style and staff attitude make this a place that would excel in any city. Nothing.
It is a quite place. The hotel did not have available any disinfectant that I needed for a small size wound, I asked for a farmacy service but they were unable to provide it. A friend of mine left at the reception a button belonging to my jacket providing my name and asking to deliver it to me. The staff never informed me neither delivered it to my room, besides when I asked a few times where was my button they claimed that it was never given to them. Clearly they did not care and threw it away. I consider all this an extremely poor behavior particularly in an hotel that claims 5 stars.
Nice hotel with beautiful view on Bosfurus South Bridge at breakfast. Clean and confortable rooms. Hotel services are not at level of this 5 stars hotel. Not all staff speaks English and one that loundry service "forgot" to pick up laundry bag.
The hotel met my highest expectations for comfort, luxury and personal service. It was a little out of the way and very pricey, but worth it as a business class hotel. The main breakfast room on the 18th floor was crowded and service was slow. However, the VIP breakfast room (with fewer options) on the 11th floor was almost empty and service was great.
Location, decoration and friendly staff Just the price is rather high comparing to the same kind of hotels with the same facilities
It was my 3rd stay at Point Barbaros. no doubt - my favourite hotel in Istanbul which I visit 7-8 times a year. Everything was just perfect as usual from the very first minute till the last one. We were very sorry to leave.
the logistic aspects
Good central location and convenient basic breakfast included in package. Windows with excellent isolation for street noise. Lights in room too low. (no actual ceiling light to brighten the room)
Location is very close to Metro station. the room is nice and comfortable. The hotel tried to charge for everything. The staff wanted to apply extra charge for my 7 year old son even though we didn't require extra bed and breakfast not included. We also called to ask for a late check out & no extension was given without paying 50 Euro. The front desk staff was also not very friendly when asked for assistance.
The hotel although stated next to Taksim square, needed at least 20-30 minutes on foot in order to get there. We had asked a non smoking room and instead they gave us (with no prior discussion) a smoking room that smelt awful. They did not accept laptop for storage and made us carry it. Very expensive and breakfast was not included.Bath gels not replaced. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone
Staff were most helpfull even with language difference. Specific recognition to room cleaning staff - Room 526 - outstanding! No
I have chose the hotel because of it's location close to my business activities. It is good as it is just near by to the subway. Hotel staff is not really friendly. They seem to be bored. Rooms are OK, but allready a bit used out.
the staffs are very friendly and helpfull. Guest Relations can help your every special works, gladly. teh services was OK. if you want to be city centre The Ramada Plaza İstanbul is best choice.you can walk lots of centre just 10 or 15 minutes.the subway opposite of the hotel door.provide value for money
I liked there location, the room is very comfort, the area is very nice, save and nice security. only the price,
i would say thanks to ms pinar mahmutoglu guest relations executive to do confirm and boarding for our tickets so thanks ms pinar no lobby and swimming pool
Away from tourist areas; not far from good local food shops. Staff are very efficient and attentive. The limitations applied to the internet were very annoying. The connection worked very well but obviously you apply certain restrictions to avoid downloads - this limit is set too low for normal business use. It meant quite limited access to business emails.
the elevators were punctual, there is very little positive to say about this hotel. The staff spoke very little English, the bathrooms were outdated and mold was on the tub walls, absolutely no chance of an iron and board in the room or extra hangers, light bulbs in foyer for elevator were burned out the entire visit, the outdoor pool was closed on a hot Sept afternoon, the location is not close to anything, in a bad area, cannot walk about outside. the internet was not working most of the time, One had to beg to get instant coffee brought to the room. Check out took a long time because they had to make sure you hadn't taken anything from the minibar. Prices for beer were outrages at $10. a glass, and it was bad Turkish beer only. This is not an exaggeration.
we can communicate in English. The staff are always smiling and friendly which makes you feel at home.I liked the breakfast it was tasteful.the jim is good as well.Even you can find TV channels in arabic and in english. I think that the level of cleanliness should be higher.
I was attending an international conference at the hotel. The hotel reception desk was poorly staffed for a lare event and very few employees could communicate in English.
hopeless service... very bad interiors..overrated highly priced..noone answers calls
Position of hotel was excellent and the decor was beautiful and stylish.
The Sofa istanbul Hotel was a very good experience in that it offers excellent facilities and spa.. The staff are cordial thought receptionists are not too helpful but above ok... The rooms are good and the location perfect. Cleanliness is very good... All in all above very good in most items... the 24 hour anywhere/anything is great really... I cannot say that I didnt like anything... I actually enjoyed most of the things I did...
massive luxurious rooms with rain shower, cd / dvd player, plasma tv etc
The location, and convenience. I stayed in room 210 and this room did not have a window to outside.
Close to Nisantasi and in walking distance to sea. Hotel staff very friendly Expensive rates for breakfast
I took my girl friend there for here birthday. I booked because of the room and location. The room was perfect but to my surprise the Spa was open and was excellent. The best part was the food was fantastic, the morning breakfast was all you could ask for in the traditional Turkish Breakfast and more. The evening dinner was just as good, food was delicious and creative.
Comfortable large room; nice ambience, centrally situated. I have stayed here before and like it very much. sometimes difficult to get a taxi, but staff always helpful.
Comfortable rooms and modern design of the hotel. Breakfast is excellent. No wifi in rooms, no coffee and tea facilities in rooms
The hotel is far away from the old city .Paid 30TL for a taxi to go there. It is far away from turist atractions.
Nice Hotel - great rooms Taxi drivers do not know the place - difficult to explain how to get there as Taxi drivers do not speak English
The reception and the restaurant is well done in design and service and amenities. The spa room is amazing, and the staff are the best trained as I have witness I was shock when I was charged the bill at the time of booking, I thought the practise is to charge when I check out. This is very unacceptable.
the rooms are modern, spacious and comfy
