In my first day the hot water on taps was limited.
Clean room, spacious and central location. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Overpriced, Dar El Medina was the same price and much better value for money. The reception staff were not very friendly.
The location is good and rooms are good for tunisian standards I suggest they also review this hotel on ratings on discrimantion, a group of middleaged men,part of the staff of the hotel, dressed in polyester suits standing in front of the main entrance , with a lot of attitude and arogancy , refuse entrance to the hotel to any tunisian person, my longtime tunisian friends who wanted to come visit me during my stay in the africa hotel , were rudely and very impolite refused entrance and turned away , not even handing over their papers and making copies of their passports which I suggested in last resort to still make it possible for them to enter the hotel was rudly denied by an also arrogant and very unfriendly recepsionist....this is discrimination ....and unacceptable !!
Location, price and comfort. Firstly, services were slow. Secondly, all the answering machines are only in French. It's an Arab country so Arabic language should be used in the answering machines. Even English should be used because it's an international language.
Breakfast at the hotel was good. The food generally speaking was quite good. Staff were friendly but clueless. The have no concept of proactive service or what most would consider practical advice. At least three quarters of the advertised features of the hotel were closed/undergoing "renovation". Definately not a 4 star as claimed. Executive rooms were definately standard. The old girl has seen better days.
Rooms were wide and clean . staff were so friendly facilities at the hotel were very good. Staff they don't wear a name tag. While checking out there was 300 tnd extra in my bill , when I asked why they say this is for the safe key in the room , I said I already gave you the key. She said ok I will change the bill.without saying sorry. I believe they do this with everybody . especially with ppl how don't know French.
clean hotel, very good pools , nice beach, very nice buffet and very good Halfaouine Restaurant! delicious! tooooo far from the site of carthage, needs a car or taxi , no public transport and absolutly no way to take an afternoon-evening walk around.
good quality hotel though a bit far from things to do. booking.com incorrectly shows this hotel as located in la marsa, it is actually quite north in gammarth. staff were friendly and helpful and it is located directly on the beach.
location of the hotel is nice being close to the sea hotel does not deserve 5 stars, they stole my money from the room and the cleaning was not done properly
excellent restaurants, good service and staff. beach and pools were wonderful. gym was small, poorly equipped, no water, no towels, certainly did not rate as a gym for a five stay hotel

Beach and pool. Breakfast did not have many choices. Internet recption in the room very poor. I was there on business for 3 days amd pleasure for 3 days. The rate for the next 3 days increased by more than 65%.
I did not like anything -- I feel tricked by booking.com _ I coulld not cancel the day before - upon arrival they said the hotel is full - got a room in annex -- no curtains; felt unsafe.
The sport center is good with good gym facilities, inside pool,sauna and hammam. Hotel is far from everything. Nothing around and need to take a taxi to go out (beach, restaurant,...)
Great hotel! large and clean room with nice view. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was funtastic too. I recommned my friends to stay the hotel.
Normal ,nothing major attracted me 1st day the electricity of my room was cut, and the fixed it in a very long time,after fixing the electricity I discovered thAt the Air condition is not working and they didn't fix it until I left the hotel ,really it was a very bad experience for 5 stars hotel

The hotel has a lot of character - attractive imitation Roman ruins around the pool and in the lobby. The food is excellent at all of the restaurants, and most of the staff are very kind The music is too loud at the outdoor restaurant by the pool

Friendly and helpful staff, in a beautiful, well maintained hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. Overly pedantic/difficult about visiting family, unnecessarily so even though security is important. WifI was good, but the Internet connection sporadic. A plan of the facilities would have been useful.

Internet is not Free of charge. It was free of charge in the condition of the reservation, but the staff did not take it.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was excellent for exploring the city and an easy access to public transport for touring the subverbia. On the arrival the bedding was dirty which the cleaner changed on request. Lack of tourist information at the reception. There was only one simple map provided on request (this might be a problem only for non French and Arabic speaking). One expect to get some guidance about transport system and maps.
Nothing much, i want to mention tha the pictures available on booking.com for this hotel are all wrong, this doesnt exisit, the rooms are very basic!! Its more of 1-2 stars max, the views of most of the rooms are horrible, breakfast is very bad, i didnt really like it to be honest.. i must say, location is good though
I liked the communication, especially beforehand -- that someone would pick us up at the airport and transport us. We were two women traveling together and our flight arrived very late at night. The breakfast was good. I didn't like that there was no Internet. Also, the person at the front desk the following morning did not understand English very well and it was very confusing about renting a car.
It was very close to the center and the souk The room was not as I pictured it after doing research. It was a lot older, the toilet didn't flush properly, there weren't enough towels in the bathroom, the tv only had 4 stations and the bed sheets smelled as if they were dirty.

A clean room with breakfast included in the center of Tunis nightlife for US$45/night seemed too good too be true but it was. The rooms were comfortable and newly modernized and the breakfast was much better than the standard. The staff aren't as knowledgeable and helpful as you'd expect in an international hotel. Best to have a plan B when making requests.
Location was great and ideal. Had to take two elevators to get to my room due to elevator repairs.

Decent, if expensive, in hotel restaurant. Front desk staff was weak and dishonest. When requested to provide a non-smoking room they said they would move to me one, but it was not actually a non-smoking room and it smelled. Then they said that there were no available non-smoking rooms in the entire half-empty hotel. Then another manager "discovered" that they actually had one, which they gave to me. General Manager's office promised that he would call me, but he never did. Conclusion: Weak management.
complete privacy 1- The carpet of the corridor leading to the room.2- The shortage of enough towels in the bath rom 3- The high elevation of the bath tub. 4- The unsanitay handling of the food by the hotel staff at the resturant during serving breakfast; Touching everything by bare hands with no blastic gloves in public was frightening to me.
Old Hotel without maintenance. Carpet in the corridors are orrible, broken and dirty. The room don't smell good.

the rooms are very big the service at breakfast was very poor. There was no coffee available, you have to ask the server for it ans takes quite a long time. The firs day I had to ask it twice.
Nothing 1- when I checked in they told me I have no booking 2-the bids un comfortable for 5 stars hotel.3- the staff cooperate with Taxi driver for extra money(trip from hotel to airport it cost 6 td I Paid 45 td plus 5 td because he have no change
The hotel was very new and very clean. Got upgraded to a suite which was extremely large and well furbished. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money. Location not in the center but still manageable (however taxi do not know the location well since it is a new hotel). Bed mattress was very hard (I guess still brand new). Wifi did work in the room but could not connect to my Outlook. The hotel had no license to sell alcohol.
please kindly be informed that as soon we arrived to Vime Tunis hotel ,our booking in this hotel via booking .com was for 3 rooms including breakfast actually we find booking for 2 rooms not including breakfast than they provide us with the other room after showing the booking confirmation again in the morning as soon we come for breakfast they informed us that the deal they have with booking .com only for room rent not including breakfast, after that we solf the problem with the reservation manager after log desiccation witch is not fair , next time i will not use or recommend this hotel to any bady. Nathing

Very spacious, fitted out to a high standard. Very evocative of the image of 'North African luxury' - e.g. separate bath and shower, all facilities usually associated with a suite but tastefully Tunisian in style Only thing missing was coffee-making facilities
All staff are fantastic and polite and professional. 10 kudos to all the Staff.Amazing. Sort the internet issues that most customers raise. More routers or wired access in rooms are immediate remedies. Very frustrating to stand in the corridor under the router or descend to the MB reception at 23:15 so as to skype or viber someone.

Quietness of the location. Watch out on the Beauty Saloon they can rip you off. It is unfortunate in a name like Sheraton such organisation can be left uncontrolled to abuse their possition.
