The location was very good, the rooms were fine for the price, and we had everything we needed in the room. The following morning, I ran into some staff, and thay were so sweet end friendly. The hotel is, in my opinion, a very charming hotel with very good location. I'm a student, at I think the price was fair (but could always use it cheaper of course). Nothing, I didn't like. Everything was either perfect or acceptable.
The location was excellent and one of the staff helped us with an internet issue. I can't think of anything else we liked. Plenty. There was no reception as you would expect to find. I had been sent an email to tell me where the key to our room was but as I did not have access to email at the time this was useless. A text message would have made more sense. The Alkisti brochure says that all its rooms have a view over everyday Cypriot life. Our window was half a metre from a brick wall, with no view whatsoever and virtually no daylight. The fittings in the bathroom (towel rail, toilet roll holder) were all missing but they were replaced on our last evening. Poor selection of TV channels for British viewers, esp. when the majority of holidaymakers are British. Housekeeping was very poor. Toilet was cleaned and wastebin emptied (left in the middle of the room).
Everything, location, clean, staff (especially Elena in reception) were very helpful. Small comfortable refurbished character hotel in the shopping area of Larnaca, overlooking St Lazarus church & square. Only 2 minutes walk to beach and many restaurants
The location next to the Larazos church is great, a bit hidden from the busy touristy boulevard. The building is nicely renovated, with respect to local architecture and with good taste. The room was small but fine. Good service by email and upon arrival, for example arranging us a taxi for the next day and allowing us in before check in time. No hotel atmosphere, but the idea of having one's own small apartment in the middle of town. Tea and coffee facilities were provided, as well as fresh water in the fridge.
Very friendly, they let us choose rooms, they were very helpful. Wireless(didn't work)
Friendly staff, even called me in uk to explain late arrival key availability.Modern, clean room in old refurbished building. Free parking close by.Overlooked small garden - there can be few green areas like this in the old part of Larnaca. Adjacent to beautiful church. Good restaurant immediately opposite. Overall, very good value basic accomodation in good position. No towels in room first night - with no staff on duty. Room not cleaned on first day. Disappointing but did not spoil our overall experience.
Good location, very near beach and resturants Room were not cleaned during our stay but we did get clean towels
Excellent location. Excellent value for money with comparable service and attention. Would definitely stay there again.
The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The hotel staff were quite friendly and helpful. The location was central to all the Larnaca shops, the sea, and the landmark church, Ayios Lazarous, the Fort, and Turkish mosque. No complaints.
Location, just next to the amazing church, very close to the main promenade Short reception working hours. It closes at six. You must make a booking a bit in advance in order get to know where the key is left.
The only thing I liked was the location. Other than that there was not much to like. I had to pay extra for the AC...the electricity only worked witht the key in. Beds were horrendous!!
the pool on the roof No internet access. You have to pay extra in order to get it in your room. The Hotel is far from 4 star rating. It's equivalent to 2 star hotel. Decor is outdated.
very quiet, good standard for this category, clean
Clean, size Street Noise, Night Club nearby
the closeness to the beach front.
The manager and staff are excellent, very helpful and kind. Rooms are big, airy and clean. Very well located - great value for money.
capacious accomodation and privacy Accomodation for 4 people but only one bathroom
The size of the apartment was good, very clean and very central in the town of Larnaca The light bulbs could have been at a higher wattage The lighting made the apartment appear dull in the interior also there was a lot noise from the passing car traffic
my stay was comfortable the hotel was clean and tidy and the staff very friendly and accommodating i would deffinatley go back and recomend it to friends the location was central to all the local facilities and very good value for money
Totale oplevelse Nej
Great location near the beach for a very reasonable price. Nice big apartment with kitchen and cookware. Friendly staff.
comfortable, close proximity to town and beach
Good location, large appartments, great value for money Not so clean
Good location, free WiFi Very poor, need renovation, at the kithen there is no microwave. Very very dirty - in the bathroom was a lot of somebodies hair. Cockroches in the rooms.
The central location is ideal and the fact that there is internet connection, family room and car park are fantastic. Both rooms required maintenance- the light did not work in the bahroom, on the second stay, and on our our first stay, the toilet was not operating correctly, the lightshade was ripped(main bedroom) and the airconditioning units controls were damaged and tape was used to repair them. The provision of a tea towel for the kitchen would be appreciated..Attention to these matters would raise the hotel's star rating significanlty,Elsewise , we enjoyed our stay and will come again.
room was cleaned every day, air condition is ok, friendly staff, central location, very good hotel for such price supermarket far away
Nothing! Rooms are there left from early 70s. Needs major renovation. There are much more better accomodation near by.Look carefully before you book this place. It should be your last resort! First off all,the management is absolutely rude and careless. There is one big guy who raises his voice and argues with guests(unbelievable!) He definetely has anger management issues. The other older lady looks better but does not really listens to guests' concerns, she just smiles and makes you an irrelevant offer that does not work for you. We stayed in this hotel before and got better rooms. This time for some reason they were awful with us.We asked a double bed 5 days before arrival and got a twin, we asked for a room that they advertise to have free wifi we got it barely working after changing rooms twice. Internet was crucial for us in order to catch up with work mails which we constantly receive including weekends. We had bad time!!!
it is a very nice hotel. the staff are so cooperative. the rooms are big and are cleaned on a daily basis. the kitchen is well-equipped. although it was mentioned that the a/c is surcharge, the hotel did not charge us anything for using the a/c from the first day. it is worth mentioning, that on our fourth day in a family suite, the a/c broke. instantly, we were offered a bigger two-room apartment in which we stayed till the end of our stay with no additional fees (though the a/c in the old room was fixed the very next day). the hotel is well-located, close to the beach and to the shopping center. all u need is in a short distance from u. we even rented a car directly from the hotel, and we paid lesser than nearby rent-a-car agencies.
Price, hotel owner Old room
We have enjoyed especially the location of the hotel - because to get to the sea-front takes only 2 minutes by walk. Parking is in the hotel, so there's no worrying about parking and safety of the car. :-) Spatial - big bedrooms :-) One of the a/c unit was blowing "smelly" air - it stinked from cigarettes :-( And maybe there could be one couch in the kitchen- dining area, which was by the entrance door as well as it was the only common space.
