Close driving distance to Tatralandia, good parking facilities, modern, wireless internet in the whole hotel (I had some trouble connecting from a Linux machine, but it worked fine with Windows, so the problem might have been at my side). Quiet. Overpriced (for Slovakia) buffet breakfasts, lack of basic versions of some foodstuff (e.g., only sweet yoghurt, with no natural yoghurt, only flavoured tea, with no ordinary black or green tea). Verticals covering windows are fancy but not functional.
Nice room, new and beautifully decorated in modern style. Excellent bed. Good breakfast. Frienly staff. Easily accessed parking in a closed yard. Stayed one night - wish we could stay longer Was a bit hard to find - the road sign for the last turn is missing .
Near downtown and ulrtamodern design View blocked by barn
Parking only for visitors. Very communicative receptionist, speaking foreign languages. Clean rooms. Towels, soap, hair dryer in the bathroom ( it is only 2** but deserves at least 3***+)
it was cleaned every morning and home away from home
The rooms really are magnificent, they wipe the floor with many four star hotels we have stayed in. The breakfast was also very good. There was even a bicycle rack at the back of the hotel for us to put our rental bikes in. The lack of air conditioning could be a problem for some people in the middle of summer. We found the temperature in the rooms to be a bit on the high side in late august.
location, price, the place was beautiful
The hotel is excellent but for business trips and for those who did not find spare rooms in the mountains (if you need skiing). There is absolutely nothing to do in the town. Yes, Josef is a good host.
nice desgin, comfortable bed, towels weren't changed even though we put them on the floor
Location for us was good, the staff were very helpful and the resturant was really good. close to mountains and caves also walking into the old village square No tea or coffee making facilities and no elevator to take luggage up to rooms
Good location in the city Very small room, strange breakfast style
It is a very nice little hotel in the middle of the town close to erverything (restaurants, shopping, hiking & ski facilities) It might be considerable to improve the staff's language competencies
we enjoyed very much from the hotel!!!! no
Excellent location & nice staff Obviously as always the hotel could be better but for value for money it’s excellent
Hotel Steve is an excellent option for staying in Liptovsky Mikulas! You can't beat its location: right in the historic town area, with easy access to ATMs, restaurants, clothing stores, bookstores, cafes, clubs, etc. And the hotel staff is wonderful. Not only are the staff members friendly and helpful, but they also speak English, which is great for me, as my Slovak is not very advanced. The hotel restaurant has a wide selection of dishes--including traditional Slovak cuisine--and the complimentary breakfasts in the dining room each morning are quite delicious. They're not just continental breakfasts either; you can have ham and eggs, cheese, fruit, toasted sandwiches, omelettes, etc. For all of this, the price is more than reasonable. Unfortunately, there is no elevator, so carrying my luggage upstairs was kind of a production.
Very friendly staff in a great location. Excellent value for money although rooms are a bit small. A great restaurant attached to the hotel serving good food and wine at very reasonable prices, again with great service.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Decent, clean rooms. Breakfast cooked to order Lack of mount for showerhead made washing pretty challenging, although the bath was big enough for about 4 people! Not much to do in town out of season
Good rooms, free wifi, and very good staff. On breakfast you can choose meal from menu and it'll be cooked especially for you.
