Fordele: Bed was not easy to get into if higher bunk but it was very confortable.

Fordele: One of the best hostels I've stayed in! The location is great (Barrio Alto is Cool, youthful, full of clubs for the night!), Well connected with the center and with all the things to see. The structure is really nice, the rooms are clean and tidy, the beds are comfortable. The common area is well equipped with a kitchen, a TV and there are several computer stations that you can use. Bathrooms and showers always super clean. The staff is very courteous and always ready for any doubt, question or request. They immediately solved the problem of cold water in the shower as soon as I reported it. Good, diversified and abundant breakfast. On the ground floor there is a restaurant and an outdoor bar (but heated) where you can have a drink and smoke a cigarette for the nights you want to stay in the hostel.

Ulemper: The locker in which I had to put my backpack was small and difficult to reach (wedged between two bunk bed ladders).

Fordele: Really nice location, close to restaurants and bars, kind of 15 waking from a nice area of the river! The hostel building was nice too!

Ulemper: Everything was cool! Good price/value!

Fordele: Clean. Nice look. Perfect place to stay.

Ulemper: -

Fordele: Good location. Near scenic lookout, tram and metro. They provide you with a combo lock for your locker, so you don't need to bring your own.

Ulemper: Front desk staff was rude. Bathroom was gross. Breakfast was mediocre. Proabably OK if you don't have dietary restrictions (i.e. vegertarian). The facilities are worn down (old), far from luxurious.

Fordele: The hostel was at a great location! Great views in the morning, easy to get around most places on foot, close to public transportation, various places to dine. The lounge was also a great amenity as well as the beer garden!

Ulemper: There was a cockroach on my last night that jump into my bed; I don’t know if that’s expected for an old building, but that threw off the cleanliness factor for me.

Fordele: I like the classic style of the hostel and the building. The staff are nice and helpful.

Ulemper: I didn’t like the shower the water is freezing and messy. The lift is not working and I’m on the top floor so i have to use stairs all the time. I didn’t like the breakfast not much choices only cold meats and cereals i wish there’s scrambled or poached eggs :(

Fordele: I got a bad start in the beginning as the guy in the room refused me to stay and requested me to change. Luckily the staff is nice and managed to talk to him and swapped me to somewhere else. The breakfast is more than very good. I like the atmosphere in restaurant makes you feel good in the morning with a coffee. By mistake I lost my phone in the seating area and the staff is keeping that for me. There are so many memories inside. I really appreciate that. My room is facing the inner street which is quite and I do sleep well every night. I love the bed. So comfortable.

Fordele: We loved staying at the hostel and the staff here is very friendly and helpful like a one families

Ulemper: Everything was very nice

Fordele: Hyggeligt sted,central for gode gåture til centrum.Måske lidt rigelig støj fra bad og værelser der vender ud mod hinanden(kl 22 ro) Vil gerne anbefale til unge som ældre.

Ulemper: Mere ro fra badeværelse der vender ind imod værelser på anden side gangen.

Fordele: I loved the staff, the room, the common places, everything. The staff is so kind and cool, and I loved the patio and it has many places to just relax.

Ulemper: It is good to take buses or a taxi but if you wanna go by walk it is too far away from important places. By the way, when I stayed there It rained everyday so maybe it made it worse.

Fordele: The room and showers were okay. Good for short stays. The breakfast was good.

Ulemper: The location is not the best compare to price.

Fordele: Location is great and property is clean.

Ulemper: No laundry facilities - it was stated on website that there was however when I asked the reception they mentioned they didn’t have laundry. Please update website thank you.

Fordele: Very close to public transport.

Ulemper: Not much food options nearby

Fordele: Good gor tat price. Very helpful staff. Clean. Easy to find.

Ulemper: Very poor breakfast. Too far from the city centre.

Ulemper: Theft in the kitchen was a problem, even though I labeled my food, much of it was taken.

Fordele: Kitchen abilities (free coffee and tea). Room and toilets were also nice and clean. Staff was polite and funny. Location was also good.

Ulemper: A renovation was ongoing that kind of made a little bit bad image in the beginning but all in all - everything super!

Fordele: The location is great, close to the city center.

Ulemper: It's on a steepy hill and it's a hard climb, especially if you have luggage. The showers have no hangers for clothes. The beds are quite squeaky.

Fordele: Beds were comfy

Ulemper: Renovations were ongoing. It was a building site!

Fordele: I just like everything here. Staffs are super helpful. Lovely and happy. The location of the hostel is just perfect and the room I am is amazing. I could say it's the best hostel in Lisbon for me until now. Super recommend.

Fordele: Venligt personale og trygt sted. Stedet er ret centralt.

Ulemper: Det ligger rimelig højt oppe. Du skal forbi mange trapper sådan er Portugal. Kunne ikke lide at de ikke var fleksibel i forhold til check-in. Var på stedet over kl. 13 men fik først lov at tjekke ind efter kl. 14.

Fordele: Kitchen is great place for socialize with the people who are foreign and portuguese also. Staff was very good at their work and if you want to have nice days in Lisbon, i recommend this hostel✌

Ulemper: I didn't like my room comfort.

Fordele: Family Vibe, cheap and well located hostel! Samir and Roma were amazing ...I recommended!

Fordele: Rigtig god beliggenhed.

Ulemper: Fremstår noget brugt. Renligheden kunne være bedre. Køkkenudstyret var mangelfuldt - fx manglede der kaffekopper (der var én!)

Fordele: Personalet var rigtig flinke. Sengene var okay. God beliggenhed

Ulemper: Det var utroligt lydt, og vi blev meget forstyrrede af støj både fra gaden, men primært fra naborummet. Der var hverken låse på bad eller toiletter, som i øvrigt var beskidte, ødelagte og ulækre. Det dryppede med vand fra overetagen i køkkenet, og køkkenet var beskidt. Heldigvis lød det som om, at der var forbedringer på vej, så forhåbentlig bliver det rene.

Fordele: The location is fantastic and on arrival the staff went above an beyond even carrying our suitcases up the 4 flights of stairs. However, this is where the positives ended.

Ulemper: The room was neat and tidy, however the sheets looked stained, the towels were old and the whitewash on the walls came off on your clothes if you brushed against it. The bathroom options were all very run down with the toilet and shower doors not even able to give privacy. The shower was mouldy and it seems like providing toilet paper is optional as it wasn’t replenished (though we also discovered this elsewhere in Lisbon), as two nights in a row it had run out by 10.00pm Our double room was separated from the next dorm room only by old thin double doors meaning talking (and Netflix) in the other room seemed like they were in the room with us (till at least 3am when we knocked on their door and it stopped.) These same neighbours smoked marijuana all night long and it filled our room too. In the end we forfeited our 3rd paid night and moved to an AirBnB because we couldn’t take the conditions for another night.

Ulemper: Very upset of this hostel, the worst i tried ! The room with 4 bed is not even private its shared Lot of noises and bad smell... Try another one if you can

Fordele: Great location, called “Bairro Alto”, means it’s in a higher village, there are food restaurants and bar, some stores close and you can take Uber or taxi easily.

Ulemper: It’s a underground build, nice to every ages, but there is no elevator .. some times too dark
