Staff was very helpful. Rooms and hallways in need of paint and new carpet. Room was very small. Dining is in need of rejuvenation.

Service , service and more caring, friendly service! From the moment I stepped out of the taxi on arrival until I left the hotel everyone addressed me by name with a cheery greeting. VERY comfortable and quiet room with far above average amenities, linens and furnishings. Excellent bar and public areas. I was sorry to leave but I shall be back as this is my new favorite London hotel. BRAVO to General Manager Spencer Yeo . Executive Concierge Frank Laino, Edward and everyone at the front desk plus all the doormen who ran for cabs ( in the rain!) so I didn't have to. I say "Well done" ! No complaints

Good hotel, conveniently located with a certain charm. Excellent concierge and reception staff let down by very poor F & B staff. The service at breakfast was almost of Fawlty Towers standards and there was an unhelpful arrogance to the staff in the American Bar. Restaurant and bar staff.
Lovely re-decoration. Failure to have cab ordered on the morning of my departure; I had to wait for one. I think the bar prices are unrealistically high!!

Et dejligt hotel med god beliggenhed, god service og mulighed for at spise lækker mad i en eller flere af hotellets gode restauranter.For et mindre beløb kunne værelset opgraderes til et dejligt, stort værelse, som er at foretrække, hvis man skal være på et hotel i en uge eller længere.Mange af Londons hoteller har meget små værelser, - så det blev ren luksus for os at blive opgraderet. Nej!
great service and excellent location. Allessandro is incredible! Room service was very poor, no phone was answered when the order was incorrect and I needed to go down to speak to reception.

The service was exemplary. In every instance the staff went beyond the call of duty to cater to our every need. I would stay there again and recommend it to all of my friends and colleagues. My only difficulty was flushing the toilet with arthritic hands- it took a fair bit of effort.
The room was charming and the bedding, linens, etc was excellent! The staff was friendly and helpful at all times.(especially loved the gentleman and the entrance who has been w/you for 45 yrs!) Decided to sit w/our friends in the dining rm while they had bkfst (which was included w/their room--they booked thru a travel agent and we had booked online). The hotel charged us 10 pounds for a cup of coffee and we thoght that was a bit outrageous.
Michelin Star restaurant was unbelievable! Staff and management were absolutely wonderful! We will be back soon!!!!

The service was excellent. We never left the building or returned to our room without a staff member greeting us with a friendly smile and kind words. The room(s) were a great set-up for a family and allowed comfort and space for a reasonable price. The location was convenient for all site-seeing and public transportation.
Wonderful hotel in so many ways; location,expansive and luxurious accommodations,service. We booked a junior suite,but were graciously upgraded to a one bedroom suite. We had so much room! As for value,other 5 star hotels cost as much or more ,but only offered a small room. Don't hesitate to book this hotel for a unique and outstanding experience. No complaints at all. Excellent in all areas.
