The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the service was five-star.
It was away from the city but close enough that a taxi ride to the city centers cost only five euro The first floor rooms open into the street, so when it is hot and there is a need to open the window (no airconditioning), a traveller has to brave the criminality of Madrid. Keep in mind that the lower rooms open into street level.
Great location No way of controlling room temperature.
The location of the hotel was very good as it was situated next to a metro station and it was easy to get anywhere in the city.
Very close to the Metro (station El Carmen, just behind the corner, no more than 50 meters from the entrance) Very nice staff Clean room with nice bathroom - we took double room: TV, safe deposit in the wall, air conditioning. Very quiet even though our window was facing busy Alcala street (thanks to doubled windows!)
WiFi service was very expensive. Not convenient.
close to metro, hotel restaurant is very good
Nice new hotel very close to the Metro station. Our room was silent and large.
Very good hotel with helpful staff, I love the location. Internet very expensive, but cheap internet cafe is nearby, Private Parking also Expensive.
Very good breakfast, very clean and large rooms, friendly staff.
It's clean, quite, helpful staff. The price is reasonable. 1) It is already old fashion, and this hotel is still doing it, to charge for WiFi service. The rest of the hotels we stayed during our Spain & Portugal trip (except the worse one in Barcelona) provided good quality free-of-charge WiFi access. Anyway, this was told on the website already, we know, but still would like to suggest the change to be made on this. 2) We were put to smoking room on a smoking floor, despite the reaffirmation in reptetition mode we made that we required non-smoking room on the non-smoking floor. The fact is this hotel does not have non-smoking room nor non-smoking floor.
