Property is beautiful My stay was too short
The location was absolutely fantastic! Right on a gorgeous white sand beach, with access to fantastic Gulf swimming, beach walking, and shelling. The resort hauls out tons of reclining chairs every morning, so you can very easily grab a couple and set up camp on the "Marriott" section of the beach. But of course you can walk all along the beach, and there's plenty of beach to walk in either direction. We felt that the area we were in was ideal for shelling; walk in either direction at low tide and you'll have some great areas to hunt for some shells, or just pick through the thousands and thousands of shells that wash up on the beach every day :-) Our son absolutely loved the two pools, and had just as much in those as he did in the ocean. The towel service was very nice, and they had a nice setup with food offered right by the pools (we thought the food by the adult pool was better than the food at the children's pool). Certainly the hotel + parking + Internet access + food adds up, but we went into it knowing that this was going to be the case, so we were very happy overall and didn't feel there were any surprises or anything like that. No complaints - had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this hotel to others!
The place the beach If you want to enjoy the spa you have to pay very expensive
Great location with beautiful views at every angle. The pools were fantastic. Beds were comfortable. Very family friendly hotel. Tiki bar had the best food of all restaurants. Restaurants were definitely over priced and food and service were just fair.
The room was big, the hotel was beautiful and clean. Right on the beach Construction in parking lot made for a messy area, no free wifi. B
Excellent service and extremely clean resort
cheerful staff, beachfront location ozzie at the pool bar stands out as someone that enjoys being there with his helpfullne Small pool/pool area, for the hotel size/number of guests. Evidently they are expanding the pool area soon, so when we stay there again we hope for nice changes. The 4 guys on beach duty seemed to be hanging/hiding out when we needed help with chairs.
The location was amazing, right on the beach. Was not impressed with the grounds. Just mediocre. Also, there were blood stains on the balcony curtains.
Having the Spa inside the hotel, with restaurant as well. Location to other restaurants in the area was convenient as well. Bed was too firm for my liking and parking was expensive.
Perfect location right on the beach Still undergoing renovations which were supposed to be finished by Dec 1. We had a hard time finding parking (surcharge) because of the worker's trucks and were woken to drills and banging at 7 am-we were told our floor was finished when we checked in.

i liked the convenience of the Hotel. Situated right across the street from lots of Cafe and restaurants. The rooms are of a good size, having a fridge and coffee maker machine although the cleanliness was not that awesome. The Hotel only had one family swimming pool that was always busy and not so convenient for adults. The parking lot is a problem and they are charging per day fees - and they are not responsible for anything happens to your car.
Very upscale and attentive staff. YES !!!!!!! I had no idea they were still undergoing their remodeling and it was like a 'war zone' with only 1 elevator available for the entire complex.
Lobby was nice Construction going on ten feet away from our $--- a night room, spa overcharged us for our massages and the hot tub included as part of the spa package was full of hundreds of dead bugs

Location No onsite laundry. Overpriced.
Everything! I felt the bar was either understaffed or inexperienced as there was always a long wait to get something and the food wasn't coming out all at once. Saw a gentleman bring his calamari back because it wasn't done, but the food I did have was good.
close to beach forced valet parking with no self park option. hotel decided to get that extra $10 bucks per day for valet parking on Memorial Day weekend, when they have self parking option other days. very disappointed in that. how else can they gouge you....?
Another great stay at this resort , very relaxing .
The view of the water was nice. The accommodations were first class, particularly the restaurant on property: Sale e Pepe. It is a first class restaurant with outstanding food, spoil-you service, and spectacular views of the beach, water, and horizon. We will definitely seek to go back.
The staff is very attentive and provide a personal feel to every interaction. The location is excellent for the beach and walking to restaurants and entertainment. The food is excellent at all the facilities on the property. The complimentary 3 o'clock smoothies at the beach and pool are a great touch! The entire facility is in excellent condition, not one noticeable issue. The availability of an early morning coffee is limited for early risers. The beach and pool bar both open a little late. They also close at dusk so on your way back from a day at the beach you cannot have a cocktail. The full service restaurant is impressive but does not allow beach wear for a stop after a day at the beach. We utilized a pullout bed for a teenager and the room became very tight. Self parking for those not utilizing a car often should be available.
Very friendly staff, clean rooms, great location, best spot on beach! Layout was a little confusing at first.
The beach is nice and quiet. Not crowded. Hotel suite was clean and comfortable. The kitchen came in handy on days we wanted to eat in the room. Things get very quiet after dark. The island doesn't have much of a night life.
Good Service, clean They do not allow you to take your own drinks or cooler to beach. Must buy their drinks which are very expensive.
Beautiful beach, hotel is gorgeous, kitchenette suite, front desk, valet, bell hop staff service top notch, hospitality staff just Ok. Bed too firm for my taste, long hospitality service wait time.
The staff was amazing!!! Very helpful with anything & everything! Great restaurant suggestions an directions as well as small chat! I felt like I was charged with fees I was unaware of from the beginning. I felt like $200 worth of valet parking & the restaurants $50 for a hamburger meal was a bit too much.
God pool. Værelse med køleskab og gode senge. Intet at klage over :-)
receptionist was very helpful, even making reservations for dinner at a local restaurant Check out time at 10 a.m. is too early, Shuttle bus runs only from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The comfort and relaxing atmosphere of the hotel and appartment The noise of the air conditioning unit next to the second bedroom
We originally booked a seven-night stay at the Naples Grande Beach Resort in Naples, FL. We checked out after one night because the Naples Grande was infested with bugs, and had virtually no amenities for families. As Marriott Vacation Club owners we own in the Aruba Surf Club we were able to book a two-bedroom villa for six nights. Our corner unit was absolutely spectacular - spacious, clean, and beautiful with a full kitchen, two full baths, a wraparound terrace with beach and pool views and daily housekeeping service. The resort has a beautiful beach that is accessed via a short boardwalk over the dunes. You can rent chairs, umbrellas, etc. right on the beach. There are two pools, which are not huge, but were more than sufficient. There is a lovely beach bar/restaurant on the property which serves food by the pool and is also a great place for an early dinner with the kids overlooks the Gulf - beautiful views! The staff is overwhelmingly helpful and courteous. There are non-stop act...
The beds were fabulously comfortable! The decor was nice and the landscaping was nice. Every time we used the oven or stove top the smoke alarm went off and we had to disable it because there was actually no smoke or even steam! The kitchen supplies were subpar and the lighting was insufficient.
From start to finish the Naples Grande Resort provided an excellent experience for our whole family. The staff was always friendly and helpful, the rooms are beautiful and the pool is great for kids and adults.
Although this was our first time here, and we were only there for one night, we were greatly impressed! The staff was great from start to finish. The room was beautiful and we were only a quick ride to the beach. The beach staff were great as well. Bradley was very helpful and friendly. I couldn't think of anything not to like!
Why are there extra charges to use the facilities that have no way for you to "opt out". Do tell me the room rate is 175/night and then add $60 to use the pool, beach.
Convenient to everything Never could get a chair at either pools or beach
Staff extremely helpful Good location Nice tram ride to beach Too strict about not using drink tickets on certain drinks. Have a baby and wasn't allowed to use them for room service when we ordered dinner or cappuccino at breakfast. Couldn't always go to a hotel bar with baby. Water slide at pool not working for over two days. Elevator from pool down to beach not working. Need for baby stroller. Trash cans in room are tiny! Not sufficient for us (couple with a baby). Billing inaccuracies
VERY nice and helpful staff at the front desk! Everything was very clean, new, and nice Pools were nice - I liked having the option of the adults only. Waterslide was fun! Loved the option of the golf cart ride down to beach. Wasn't a bad walk (.6 mile) but a ride was nice as well. Overall one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at - can't wait to go back someday Nothing! Didn't like that we had to leave
Location Resort fee Parking fees
Great location. All employees extremely accommodating and polite. Adult only pools in addition to main pool area. Service was generally excellent. Bad experience at the bar. Area not properly staffed for number of guests one Monday evening. Were unable to get ordered food because of chaos. Staff did nothing to control a very noisy group of four who made it impossible to have a quiet drink in a very nice area.
I loved the tram to the beach. Driving through that little jungle was feeling being in the paradaise
My daughters and I come every year to Naples and stay at Naples Grande. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is friendly. The location is great. It's just a short walk (or ride - transportation provided) to the beach. Ten minutes to 5th Avenue for great dining and 20 minutes to Miromar Outlets for off-price shopping. We always have a wonderful time.
Nice gulf view, nice pools and relax areas. beautiful trail to the swimming beach, service staffs were very friendly The parking elevator was inconvenience and the sign was little confuse.
Friendly staff. Close to beach. Clean rooms.Close to great places. Not knowing we had to pay to park. Having to pay to park. Not knowing what our use fees were paying for. Having to pay for shade on the beach.
Quiet room, large flat-panel TV.
Great location near the beach. Pools and courtyard settings are very well done...especially for the value. The room was large and comfortable. The pillows weren't comfortable for me. Access to the refrigerator (which was in the closet) was partially blocked by the sliding closet doors.
I loved the direct access our room had to the pool and the inclusive breakfast was pretty good; more than I expected of a continental breakfast. The inn is within walking distance of shopping, dining and recreational activities. The TV although nice in size, lacked the proper HD connection so even though it was an HD TV, the picture was still mediocre.
Nice staff and breakfast included. No elevator.
Breakfast staff was super. Food was ok, not home cooking. Pool was ok, seemed clean, surrounded by very nice foliage, not very warm, but not too cool. Room on second floor was quiet. My suggestion ---- try another hotel. Front office staff was UNFRIENDLY. Room was very expensive for the quality, this was not a suite but a small room with very OLD Bathroom. No beach towels...... No beach chairs ...... No beach umbrellas...... Other hotels provide these items on a first come basis as part of the room rental. Had to beg for sheets to be changed, including bribing the service staff.
Beautiful tropical gardens Rooms a little outdated.
-Space and furniture -Location -Price -The internet could be better
Hotel was very clean and well kept. Staff very personable and helpful. Older facility with added on lifts (versus elevator). Bathrooms very small.
Size of 2 bedroom unit. Great housekeeping.Walk to Naples A bit pricey., but worth it
I loved our stay at the Bellasera! My husband and I stayed there with our 1 year old daughter for three days. I was pleasantly surprised to find a full kitchen stocked with dishes and cookware, full size refrigerator, dishwasher and breakfast bar as well as a full dining room for the price of a typical hotel room. Had we stayed for more than a few days, we would have gotten groceries and had family over for dinner. The suites are huge and everything feels new and modern. It is within a short walking distance of 5th Avenue (about 2 blocks) and all of the shops and restaurants located thereon. Nice screened in porch which leads to a courtyard that leads to the pool and bar area. Towels are easily accessible at the pool and there are lots of chairs available. Pool is nice, but shallow (I think the deepest spot is 5 feet), which was fine for my daughter and I. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Naples!!! The only think that I didn't like was that there were some teeny tiny ants on the kitchen counter. We mentioned it to the maid and maintenance came within 15 minutes to deal with it. The service was excellent. And it is South Florida, so some insects are to be expected. I'd rather have ants than no-see-ums! Everything else was wonderful.
Feels like home away from home. The paper goods need to be better quality. Our breakfast didn't seem to be as good as the hotel and our wait staff needed to be less into herself and how she felt.
Hotel was very nice. Pool area was wounderful.
The staff were fantastic and were so helpful and friendly.Nothing was too much trouble. Ended up staying two nights instead of the planned one night The rooms were a little dark - especially the living room and dining area due to only one window. With the room being an end unit, there was very little natural light
Very good quality hotel, suite was excellent equiped, staff was friendly and efficient
Great suite, great location, great place. Late check-in.
Friendly staff and facilities
We got a 2 bedroom suite which had a nice layout. Plus the real plus is the laundry service it has inside its suite. Internet was fast & toiletries were all included except for a toothbrush. You dont give out complimentary water bottles. We would have found it the best especially since there is a fridge & kitchen to use as well.
Explored Naples and its surrounding area, including Sanibel Island and the Everglades.Excellent position for shopping and restaurants. No
Beautiful rooms, kitchen and livingroom for our family, pool, great hotel and very nice, most kind and helpful people working in the hotel and bar. Everything was fine. You have to be 21years old to go to gym in hotel.
The beach at the hotel is beautiful and the area around is lovely. We were annual visitors in the 90's with 5 other families the week before school began. We all loved it, but it is not the same now. They took us to what was supposed to be a gulf view room. It had a huge palm tree and stuck in a corner with roof angles for a view! We went back to the front desk to get it changed and we were put in another corner room, but with a partial gulf view and the asphalt parking lot. The remark was, "you booked on a travel site, so this is what happens!"That sure was not comforting to hear as a hotel guest! I can say that we were disappointed in the hotel and will not be returning or recommending to anyone in the future. It is overpriced and not value for the money.
Fantastic location on the beach, good lunch by the pool or on the beach, spacious and comfortable suites, very helpful and upbeat staff My only complaint is with housekeeping. Our room was serviced in a lackadaisical way. The bed was made sloppily, the door was left ajar one day (!), the floor in the kitchen area was not clean, living room ignored daily. There was no attention to detail. One of the pleasures of staying in a hotel is having a lovely, well made up and clean room. This was merely so-so. Everything else is very nice at Edgewater and they should step up their game in housekeeping.
Beautiful contemporary hotel with excellent service.
Facilities and staff were excellent. Beautiful location. Great food. Shuttle. Ghost ants in the bathroom.
Beach location Construction going on. Lots of noise View of trucks and construction with a little ocean
Me encanto el area de la playa y que la piscina estaba cerca el ambiente muy agradable , muy relajante La comida del restaurante poco variada ,en mi caso soy alergica a los mariscos y no tuve muchas opciones Seria para mi caso mejorar la carta
The location, room and appearance. No breakfast availability.
The Valet service No room service before noon or after 9pm The Hotel was very noisy and you could hear everything going on in the halls and next door to the point that it felt unsafe. There was a lot of banging and noise outside my doorway until 2;30 am. My room was on the same floor as the pool.
Excellent location in the centre of downtown and immediate acces to shops and restaurants
A/C Unit seems outdate and the noise level was high, which didn't contribute to a restful sleeping arrangement.
The hotel offers a grand entrance. They had just decorated for Christmas and the poinsiettas and tree were lavish. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were modern. My husband stepped on an exposed tack in the room which was fixed immediately but a thorough check after each stay would have prevented it. The doors to the room slam loudly which, if you have neighbors who loved the nightlife, will wake you several times a night. A buffer would help. Also, the towels need replacing; they're a bit shabby.
Great location Pool and hot tub.
Great place to stay in the heart of old Naples! Would highly recommend it to my friends.
Great service and excellent staff. Beautiful room overlooking 5th Avenue with a balcony. Great position and highly recommended Everything!
Beautiful hotel... Very clean... Great location
Great hotel Very clean and comfortable room. Great location convienent to all shopping, restaurants and local playhouse theatre The jacuzzi could have been warmer
Everything No breakfast room
Everything was very nice! Aircondition without a termostate, always on.
The rooms were very spacious and nice. I was very pleased. The facility is well-located and cost effective for the area. I like that it wasn't excessively fancy, but still pleasant to be in. The grounds outside are merely OK. You won't write home about it, but that's why the rooms themselves came as such a surprise.
Everything was wonderful! Our room was next to a noisy elevator.
Clean..great location...nice evening entertainment on the beach Food and beverage a bit expensive and 2 beach chairs and umbrella were $50 per day....ouch
The location can't be beat. You don't even need a car. You can walk the beaches, walk to town, walk to the pier. The first room we had was terrible. It was on the 3rd floor of the main building. There was no stair access; we had to rely on an elevator which was slow. We could not open the door to the patio overlooking the Gulf because the propane fumes were too strong. Very disappointing. We were however, offered a king room in another building on the 2nd floor which was fabulous. It made all the difference in our stay.
wifi didn't really work, u need to pay money for it.
are you kidding? nada! accomodations were marginal at best. expected an ocean front room-but was forced into ground level hovel because of lack of availability. the place is getting dingier by the year! needs a whole refreshing! its only pluses are location on the gulf and its golf course.
Didn't have to leave resort. Facilities well maintained and modern. HB's had a limited menu for the upscale dining.
Cleaning staff was friendly and came twice a day and my daughter loved that they left chocolates on the pillow! The heat kept coming on when we adjusted the unit, it was like everything was preset and you couldn't change it.
Location great in area with little competition. Classy resort feel with nice pool, grounds, etc. Friendly, effective staff. Standard room very nice, but a bit dull and very pricey. However full during stay, so priced to the market? And price offset by unexpected free valet parking.
I liked that the hotel was close to the beach and that they have a couple of nice restaurants right on the beach. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. I requested Gulf view, but i did not get that. In fact I was told that my room was upgraded which suprised me because the room was quite dated (old). Don't get me wrong. It was a nice room, just outdated. The most disappointing thing was that the a/c fan kept running all night. That created a humidity problem that kept me from sleeping all night. There was no way to shut it off other than turning the a/c off completely which was not an alternative with the 90 degree weather outside. Also, I was not expecting to pay for every little thing. Nothing is included.
The food was pricey. Beach chairs and umbrella rental way too expensive.
Room, pool, beach, shops, pro shop. Just a great visit.
This hotel is on the beach. We stayed for 3 nights and each day we spent our time divided between the pool and the beach. The resort was beautiful. Food and drink was a little pricey but just as any other nice beach resort would be.
