The location is great because it's a beachfront hotel. Front desk staff is very courteous and nice. Not the service I expected. The valet staff is not the most welcoming at all. No warm greeting or smiles at all. I was really dissatisfied with the quality of the room. I had called ahead to get a preference of room. I got a room that was on a low floor and with no city or beach view like their website states. The worst part is that this particular room has a balcony that is in the view of the next rooms balcony. Meaning that our neighbors can walk out of their room and look directly into our room. We had to keep the blinds closed the whole stay for privacy. That was the worse part. Very disappointed. Lastly there wasn't a hairdryer and housekeeping opened out door an hour before checkout time.
This Marriott is a beautiful hotel. You walk right onto the beach. The staff is wonderful. They are attentive, friendly, courteous, and overall just genuine about wanting to please customers. This hotel is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at when taking into consideration the overall experience (i.e. Location, staff, cleanliness, accommodations, pool area, etc) The rooms are a little on the small side.

We were down for the Miami Boat Show, which we attend every year. I must say, through all the years we have attended, this was the cleanest, most comfortable & friendly hotel we have stayed in. The staff was great, very attentive. Cleanliness is most important for us and this place passed with flying colors. We also had our puppy with us and everyone was great with her. The newly renovated room was super cozy. The entire hotel is undergoing renovations but it wasn't even a bother. Looking forward to seeing the end result! I would stay here again. Honestly, the only downfall was location. We were a bit farther south and A taxi ride vs walking distance from where we needed to be BUT we would totally stay here again.

Great access to the beach and ocean drive. Clean, great looking rooms with fantastic views. Also very attentive and professional staff! Highly recommend! Would be nice if the recliners, towels and umbrellas on the beach were complementary to guest of the hotel. But, south beach in general is pricey.
The rooms were beautifully appointed The hotel was under construction which we knew and expected. That was not a problem. But the service was terrible and the service people even a bit rude, The common places were not clean and were often trashy, and overall it did not live up to the standards of the cheapest Marriott I've ever stayed at.
I liked that it was on the beach. The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and the location was ideal if you're looking for an authentic Southbeach experience. I didn't like being so close to Nikki Beach because the music could be heard in our room from 6 AM to midnight. The food at the hotel was way overpriced ($22 per person for an average breakfast and $16 for a mixed drink!!) I also didn't care for the tiny pool, but the beach made up for it.

Bathrooms are beautifully decorated but not safe. The glass doors at shower do not close properly and there are no handles to hold on to. My daughter fell in the shower and broke her toe. Hotel staff was very helpful but not a word from the administration.
this hotel was decorated really cute. It was next the pink restaurant. It was bigger then my friends who paid a lot money for her hotel. It was like a suite,had iron, blow dryer. It had refrigirator, microwave and their staff was available all the time. What was really surprising was that they provided towels and umbrella. This hotel is near eveything. Wet down a few blocks. Will always stay here!!! our terrace was huge nothing

Amazing location, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. NO need to rent a car in South Beach or hassle with traffic! Plus, the kitchen in the room is very convenient. They charged me for 2 Nespresso pods. I think they could have thrown that in given that we are paying $300 for the room! Unfortunately, that put a bad taste on a great stay.

Fremragende beliggende lige hvor det hele sker. Bare ud af døren, og går man lige ud, er man på stranden, til højre kommer alle butikkerne og restauranterne, og dermed er man også væk fra støj om aftenen. Personalet, især Alex er meget imødekommende, og god til at give tip om gode restauranter etc. Husk at shoppe i Lincoln Road og er du til lidt finere og dyrere italiens mad, så kan restaurant Osteria del Teatro på 1443 Washington Avn. varmt anbefales. Super mad og fremragende service. Temperaturen på vandet i bruseren var for højt, og poolen kunne godt have været lidt dybere.
God beliggenhed tæt på havet, hyggelige omgivelser og en god tagterrasse Parkering dårlig og dyr. Ingen morgenmad. Elevator ekstrem langsom. Påtalte mangler blev ikke bragt i orden (manglende håndsæbe ved ankomst, manglende lys i badeværelse).Man venter lang tid på bil, som står på parkeringsplads langt væk.
Nothing It smelled like smoke, the rooms were dirty looking, the breakfast was tiny, and outside the window of the room they showed up was a trunk and no sunlight was let in and the people there when they found out that we were not staying they were extremely rude!

The location was great. Parking was an additional $20 per day. The was tiny, but they called it a continental breakfast.
I stayed in motels better than this one. Hall ways and rooms stink, AC blowing on your face. No elevator, 2 stories building. Pictures and reviews were very misleading. For merit was a mistake.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful courtyard. Great location. Room was clean, but bathroom in rough shape and holes in bed sheets. Hall carpet smelled sour, maybe that's just the beach humidity though. AC worked well, but confusing to use. Single pane old window let a lot of outside noise in.

The air conditioner was not functioning and they didn't have another room available. They claimed that all of the rooms were having the same issue with the air conditioner. We couldn't find another room anywhere else and it was already late. It was terrible and extremely hot all night.
Location is great. Super sloppy paint job, rusted sink fixtures, no blinds, stairs only, staff is meh. Too expensive for such a shabby "boutique" hotel.
Pics that they put online makes the hotel look better... 1) The staff was rude... 2) bed was uncomfortable 3) AC machine was so loud. Fire Alarm was bipping so we had to take it out,,, 4) the next room was playing looud music till late in the morning.. Couldnt sleep at all!!!!

Location. Walking distance to the beach. I reserved (and pre-paid in full) for two nights through Kayak. The total was already withdrawn from my credit card before we got there. Something came up and my friend and I were unable to make it for our first night. When we checked in around noon on our second day, we were told we didn't have a room reserved and he didn't have anything available. I showed him my reservation and told him that I've already paid for two nights, but we were unable to make it the night before. He said since we didn't show up the day before, our reservations for BOTH nights, including my second night, were gone. I didn't understand this.. why were both nights not reserved after their payment was already received? There is one person working at the front desk. I think this man is the receptionist, manager, housekeeper, owner.. all of the above. He was completely unsympathetic and snotty about our whole situation, which obviously made matters worse. He cut me off every time I tried to say anything. He made us wait and said he'd "see what he could do". The worst thing for us was this lack of customer service and the attitude from this man. I'm not sure if that's normal to lose a room/reservation if you couldn't make it for your first night, even if it's prepaid. If that is a common practice, a little sympathy and care would have been nice, instead of attitude right off the bat. Finally, somehow a room is available and he said he'd let us stay as a "favor" to us. How is this a favor to us, when we have already paid for two nights? We are told our room number and head in. Our room is TINY and had one bed. When I made my reservation, I paid more to get a room with 2 beds. We were over it at this point and wanted to avoid this man at all costs, so we just let it go and didn't say a thing. The carpet, comforter and pillows/shams were filthy, spots of who knows what (one spot even looked like blood) were everywhere. We also felt unsafe being on the first floor with two windows next to a valet/parking lot, and a dark, creepy lot. The curtains are small and don't even cover the window, so my friend and I took turns changing in the bathroom to avoid being seen by any of the valet workers who were right outside. On another note, there's a phone, but no number to dial the front desk (or anyone). We went back down to the front to ask the man for hand soap, conditioner, and body wash because we only saw shampoo. He checked in the back and came back saying they don't have any of the above, only shampoo. (Not even hand soap?!) Parking is valet only, and it's $25 a day. I would never recommend this place. Bottom line, this place should absolutely cost no more than $80 a night, for location alone. I'd expect a place like this at that cost. Everything is very old, cracked, moldy, damaged, and dirty. There's only 1 outlet to plug anything in and it's in the bathroom. There's no counter in the bathroom either, and that made using a straightener/blowdryer difficult.
The location was amazing and the staff very nice. Was not happy about the visible mold painted over on the bathroom ceiling that was clearly still growing, gave the room a less than pleasant smell. It was also growing in the crevices of the light switch/electrical outlet, caused me to question the safety of breathing it and being around it. The A/C unit inside the room rattled while running off and on to the point that it woke me up through out the night. The plastic grocery bag that was placed over the smoke alarm was also a bit concerning, and the broken lamp and coffee pot in the room weren't impressive. Also I was disappointed there weren't shear curtains or blinds, only blackout curtains, so it was dark and closed off in the room or wide open with everything visible from the dumpsters and cars parked outside the window. The fact that there's a charge of $30/night to park should be disclosed somewhere, it only says there is guest parking before booking. The photos online are extremely flattering compared to the actual condition of the room I got, and if not for the no refund policy and the fact that I was only there 1 night, less than 24 hours, I definitely would have found other accommodations and will not be staying here again.
Loved that it was near the beach! When we arrived, the Front Desk attendant did not seem attentive and desk was cluttered which did not make for a good first impression. The room was not ready when we arrived after 4 pm. Overall, the room was overpriced and the carpet in the room was old and seemed dirty. The hotel needs to be updated. Would've like a coffee maker in the room.
The guy at check out was awesome. Really friendly and chatty. Outdood courtyard/entrance should be swept and cleaned daily. Looked pretty ghetto. Bathrooms are pretty gross. Floor grout on bathroom floors and showers are dirty, could use some serious bleach and scrubbing. Yuk.

We visited South Beach as a single parent with teen child. We found Century to be probably the best value you could find in South Beach. Location is excellent, there is a beachfront park diagonally across street, so beach access is great, plus the park eliminates the problem with beachfront hotels trying to monopolize the beach in front of their property. Easy walking distance to anything in SB. property itself is a typical mid-century modern boutique hotel that has been well kept, but could use a little tlc here and there. Staff was very friendly. Beds and linens were clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again, and recommend to anyone trying to make a budget friendly choice. Its not the 4 seasons, but its not $1000 a night either. Rooms are a little small, and furniture is sparse. Bathroom is also very small, and there is virtually no counter or shelf space to store toiletries.

The room was clean location on ocean drive The staff wasn't welcoming the hotel wasn't comfortable at all I avoided the room as much as I could the beds were terrible fridge didn't work and we'll as blankets were sheets the only good thing about this hotel was the roof which wasn't for guest anyway I wouldnot suggest staying here unless you're looking for a place to rest your head there was no breakfast as advertising said and no towels this was a last minute trip we booked the room on a Friday night but not worth moreading then 70$ even on the weekend room was tiny and manager told us over the phone we could get a room with two beds when we got there he wasted about 15 minutes of our time before upgrading bedding after a 5 hour drive that totally ruined my night PAY THE EXTRA AND STAY SOMEWERE ELSE IF YOU WANT SOMEWERE NICE
Great little hotel. Wonderful staff and perfect location. The front room Angel put us on was great. We saw lots of Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Maserati, Rolls Royces. We stayed in the room right above the Century sign. Thank you. And the hotel is only 3 blocks from the action. $28.00 extra for each day for parking...
Great location. Across the street from quiet and beautiful beach near southpointe. Starbucks across the street. Big Pink restaurant around the corner. Quiet part of south beach. Very basic. Very dated. Could be a great deco boutique hotel with a remodel. Overnight parking is an issue. No choice but to valet. Need to cab or drive to the southbeach action spots.
Convenient location with Starbucks right across the street, next to a large Park. TV could have been a little larger. but then I wasn't really there to watch much TV anyway.

The mini fridge was dirty … The bed was crinkly from the plastic cover under the sheets … The doors are very strange there is a window and is covered by a piece of cloth … The TV did not work … The Wi-Fi password didn’t work … The valet parking was $28 CASH ONLY which is also strange

South Beach, CVS pharmacy nearby noisy noisy noisy, tried to rip me off with private airport shuttle service instead of standard airport service without saying so and without quoting a price (twice as much for private)
My first experience staying in a hostel ever...it was so much fun with super friendly staff, close location to the beach, fun planned events and convenient shuttle service to the airport. It was great partying with random people from all over the country and the world. I am so happy I decided to stay here and I hope to come back soon to the South Beach Hostel! A little cramped, but really not much to complain!

- South Beach was 2 blocks away - different activities every evening,good to get to know new people - you can book different tours in the "lobby" - walls are thin,it´s very loud - shared bathrooms without a lot of space - breakfast was too small(definitely no continental breakfast) - not very clean
It was close to the beach and the boulevard The breakfast was old, you could only get 1 bagel, jam and a orange or banana + juice, shower was cold, and it was very noisy. The staff were not good informed about the rules etc, they kept giving me different answers.
