Excellent Food & location Service in the bar and restaurant was poor
a lot of Teddy bears
The surroundings When we arrived at 10pm, the hotel was completely dark. No-one answered the bell, so we decided to look for another place. When we asked for a room at a hotel neaby, we were being told that the main hotel entrance for "L'Ours" is around the corner from the official address. There had been no sign at the front door to try around the corner. In fact, the whole place looked completely un-welcoming.
The hotel staff were very friendly and spoke English. Also the hotel had parking available for our car which was very handy. The breakfast was very good. Our rooms were also very comfortable.
The very helpful staff. The proximity to two bell towers - no need for an alarm clock.
Good position in very pretty village Rooms comfortable and clean but fairly basic - but good value
The hotel was convenient in the centre of the village cobwebs in the corners of the room
Pleasant service and a good location They charged a different rate from that advertised on the website
The breakfst was nice, the decoration in the reception, swiming pool. I think it should be a two stars, definitely not a 3 stars. there is a soap distributor in the bath (water was mixed to the soap as well for it to last longer!!) and no shampoo. the walls are thin and you can hear people talk or snore next door. The smell of the rooms- if you are non smker make sure you ask for a non smoking room as the smell of cold smoke was very strong in certain rom.
The restaurant was excellent. The service was very good. The room was recently refurbished and the bathroom was luxurious. The location was great and the hotel had an interesting theme which set it apart. The room had no aircon and it was a bit warm
