The staff is outstanding, great golf resort Water stain in shower ceiling, bathroom doors don't lock.
Location was great. Main facility was beautiful. Great having the shuttle to the private beach access. Lodges were run down and poorly managed services. Our air conditioning went out at 11:00 pm and had to move all our stuff into another unit in another building. Not so easy with a sleeping 5 year old.
The hotel was very clean and had decent facilities. However, the spave and staff were nkt on par with other places we've stayed. A lot of the staff are younger kids and communicate and behave as though you are a disruption. The girl who checked us in was busy giggling with someone on the radio, the boy handing out pool towels appeared annoyed he had to hand us towels. When tou work in the hospitality industry at a place that wants to be high end, the people hired should be just as dedicated to the cauae as those managing.
Great place, even though we were a local couple, staying here was like staying in a totally different town.
We loved staying there. The staff was very responsive and friendly. The room was very, very comfortable. I didn't like paying extra for items that should have been included, such as beach chairs. The $29.00 resort fee should include a beach chair to sit in!
clean rooms: more than comfortable sized rooms, airy; all staff was gracious and because of their front desk location in the lobby, unfailingly welcomed us. Tthat actually made for a particularly personable welcome and valued as a guest (rather than a client so to speak). parking is very easy (and no fee). Next to a great coffee place! the location in a retail center; however, they did manage to make the little pool area private and we walked to a GREAT New Year's Eve dinner at Aqua. I'm not sure why you kept your van parked in the drop off zone. Rather inconvenient.
I had the best two nights sleep that I've had in a long time! The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable and the pillows were amazing!
I just got back from a 'girlfriends trip' to celebrate my mom's 50th birthday. The staff at the Lodge was amazing. Everyone was so accomodating and especially sweet to my mom on her big day. I am already planning my return with my boyfriend. \n\nTwo musts for staying at the Lodge: book an ocean front room because you'll be really upset if you didn't once you get there and see it; and try the burgers at the hotel...delish.
I was so pleased with this hotel and the service provided. Many things to do at the hotel and the sister Inn and club just a short shuttle away. Great for a weekend getaway! Separate adult and family pools.
Our room overlooked the ocean; we couldvhear thecwaves. Good walks on the beach, which was easybto get to. Great gym just steps away. Goodcrestaurant. Simple to charge nearby spa services to the room. All in avll a great stay!
Rooms were large and was clean and currently decorated. The staff was outstanding from the bellman to the Sever in the lounge. We loved the quaint boutique Style hotel without sacrificing the service of a 5star resort. The fitness center was outstanding (aside from a very cranky elderly woman that checks you in) Bravo ! Thanks for a wonderful visit
I just loved this hotel, room, and staff. We drove straight through from Detroit and right away we were greeted before we could even exit my vehicle. When we got to our room our jaws just dropped. Two balconies, one facing the ocean, the other the pool. With both balcony doors open you get a wonderful breeze with that fresh ocean smell. My only regret was not staying longer.
Everything about this place was beautiful. We had a gorgeous room on the beach. The place was warm and friendly. Service is excellent and you will be treated like you are a royalty. I recommend this place for rest and relaxation. The food there is also exquisite! We had a wonderful time!
