The Iberostar view of the ocean so beautiful, we had the most huge waves, like 10 to 15 feet which was so picturesque!! The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. All of your food and alcohol is all inclusive. Food was pretty good, I enjoyed the paella, it was yummy! So many free activities, like the Yoga by the pool, water aerobics, salsa dance lessons, darts and ping pong. Kayaking was free too. Enjoyed the Las Vegas type of show, which was free too. Lush gardens and such a beautiful hotel. I really enjoyed my stay here and would go back to Iberostar Playa Mita
I spent my 11th anniversary at St Regis, and I shall say our stay was magnificent. The hotel staff is realy friendly. The rooms are great, and with lots of ammenities. The food is great. I would totally recommend this hotel. Although it is a bit expensive, it is worth it. I forgot both my engament and wedding rings, so I called the hotel, and they inmediately told me the cleaning person had already given them to the manager.
I stayed here for 5 days last month with some girlfriends for a spa getaway weekend. It was a fabulous experience and we had a great time. I was very impressed by the extensive amenities and the accommodating staff. Despite the recent travel warning against visiting Mexico, I felt completely safe about my visit. I also did extensive research before I left the states, and found that Americans are being cautioned to stay out of the border cities in Mexico, and resort destinations like Punta Mita are completely fine for visitors. The hotel made me and my girlfriends feel safe on the grounds and gave us great advice as to where to go to around the city. I had a great vacation and would recommend this hotel to anyone!
loved the decoration. 40 usd to rent a a paddleboard for an hour is a rip-off, but everything else smooth
Great decor! Love the vibrant colors & patterns + very modern chic design. Food was delicious! Beautiful beaches, great pools. Great service & friendly staff. The wooden slats in the bathroom windows felt like other guests passing by could see in, but putting the shades down made the room incredibly dark even with the lights turned on. I agree with previous review, lighting in rooms is not good. Great for setting the mood! But terrible for all else- makeup, reading, putting in contacts etc. We were on the Jungle side, squaking birds woke us up in the middle of the night.
