Nice hotel, friendly staff, comfortable, safe. I would stay there again. Tv would lose signal sometimes while watching a program. I came down early to the lobby to order a breakfast sandwich and a Starbucks coffee, but the cafe wasn't open. The front desk offered other food from their market. It was all processed. I found peanuts and a bottled Starbucks coffee, but there was a hotel tax added to each item. Disappointed. Expensive.
Clean rooms, well maintained. Hotel and Bistro staff during all shifts is very attentive and asking how else I can be helped. Very pleasant and professional experience - am a frequent guest there and has always been a good experience.
The staff was very unprofessional and mean The staff The place
Nothing!!! they do not know how to clean Vomit on the walls dripping into the carpet. this is nothing more than a crack house! Stay away! I would not let one of my pets stay there.
This hotel is conveniently located just out side of downtown San Franscisco. Also the cost is very competitive compared to the rest of the area. This is a good option for someone looking for an inexpensive place to just crash fro the evening. There are severe issues with the staff and with cleanliness. Management needs to better train the staff. It took 10 minutes for somebody to come to the front desk when we arrived. Our room was not ready for us when we checked in at 7:15pm which is pretty unacceptable considering that check-in for this facility is at 4pm. The front desk attendant needed better training. She continuously interrupted us to take phone calls on her iPhone and she did not issue us the correct room number. There were several cleanliness issues with our room. The pillow cases and towels all had highly visible stains on them. The carpet was also severely stained and was ripped up in several places. The overall cleanliness was pretty poor.
I booked a 3 night stay at the Marina Bay Inn & Suites because my co-workers and I were working a music festival at the Craneway Pavilion. I saw that Craneway was only 1.8 miles from the Marina Bay Inn so it was a very convenient location. After booking it, my co-workers pointed out some negative reviews in which made us nervous. When we arrived, we didn't know what to expect. However, we were very pleasantly surprised! We were greeted at the front desk by a staff member who proceeded to check us in. She gave us recommendations on where to eat and buy some groceries. She recommended Point Richmond Market. We ended up going there our second day and had excellent sandwiches at a decent price. The hotel room itself was very spacious, clean, and even had a mini fridge and microwave (which was not mentioned online)! The beds were comfy and the towels were new and very soft. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay and we will stay there when we work the festival again next year! Thank you so much Marina Bay Inn and Suites. P.S. the coffee and tea in the lobby was a nice touch and got us energized for our late night shifts. We asked at the front desk about the breakfast in the morning and they said it was recently discontinued. I think a continental breakfast in the morning would be very nice since there aren't many places to eat within walking distance.
They are doing the right things. attention to detail was very apparent.
Room was clean. Well, needless to say we were freezing all night but after we complained, they changed the room next day. Everything was fine from next day onwards
Location, fireplaces, front desk staff. Old building with loud A/C units, and fan. Housekeeping was moving furniture above us and continuously banging the floor at 8 AM.
The Inn was great for breakfast and late evening - I was not expecting that, and the food and the service was so good that I did not eat anywhere else. Outside the lobby is a very nice seating area for meeting friends. The room and bath were spacious. It was quieter than I expected. I was near the ice machine, either nobody else used it, or the room was insulated enough that the noise didn't come through. The pillows - usually I ask for extras, not necessary at The Lodge. The pool was lovely, there wasn't enough seating - a group of non-swimmers had taken over the cabana, as I was alone, I had to join a family group, which is okay in some countries, in California it felt like I was imposing.
Sounded like I was in an apartment complex. Stomping on floor above started at around 5am. 0 water pressure. Just a little dribble coming out of the shower head. Did not get a good nights rest at all.
Staff, location, cleanliness, room décor, feel.
The hotel was a perfect ending to our week long trip no
Great location! Near the bay, ferry, shops, restaurants, cafe, small fishing pier for the kids, walking path and grocery store. Views of the city and GG Bridge. Need any fishing tips for you and the kids? Talk to Ron at the grocery store meat department, the guy is local and a great resource.
The room was absolutely gorgeous as were the lodge facilities including a pleasant restaurant. The service desk was particularly helpful with information and there is access to lodge bicycles for free to allow you to ride around this idyllic environment. They also allowed us to leave luggage and ourselves until late when our plane journey resumed. No
It was very pleasant, well-appointed, and conveniently located near the ferry to San Francisco. Staff members were helpful and courteous. The hotel restaurant was excellent.
Wine and nibbles People in the next room had a party on Sunday night. Called the front desk 3x... 10:30, 11:00, 12:30. Finally they did something at 1245. People left, but 2 drunk girls kept on yapping until 1:30 am. Never again.
Secluded and great location None
The hotel was right where I needed it to be. It was easy to find and quiet. There was no bar soap in the room, no blow dryer and worst of all there was no coffee maker/coffee in the room. The front desk said I could check one out, but I was just ready to go. No lobby coffee either. kind of a let morning down!
We enjoyed having a full kitchen People upstairs were EXTREMELY loud from 9pm to almost 3am.
Nothing, front desk staff absent for more than 30 minutes upon check in. Had to search the halls for desk staff. Looked like he was sleeping. Ac did not work. TV did not work properly. No breakfast available. Nothing, front desk staff absent for more than 30 minutes upon check in. Had to search the halls for desk staff. Looked like he was sleeping. Ac did not work. The location was good and quiet. Over all the area was clean. It was easy to find and right of the fwy. The cleanliness in the room was lacking. There was a pair of very large earrings hanging in the shower w women's hair attached. GROSS. One of the outlets completely came off the wall when we unplugged our phones.
Location Not that clean.
Convenient location for my needs The staff smelled of marijuana when I checked in and you could tell it was affecting her because she was moving in an almost slow motion manner.
Staff were phenomenal! A++ Both cleaning and ladies working the morning and evening shift. They were friendly and very helpful - NO bugs in the room...great job. (I have pixs if you need copy) - elevator broken. Carried luggage up to 3rd floor - did not have breakfast as advertised - no ice - burner in my room broken - faucet in 2nd room leaking H2O - wi-fi spotty - chair had suspicious white stains
Kitchen Heater didn't work, very noisy building, there was a constant clicking in the walls in the middle of the night. Remote control needed batteries, drawers were filthy and room smelled moldy.
Possibly prostration going on there? Very strong smells throughout building and when bathroom vent used.
The location was handy. Easy access to the freeway without too much road noise. The staff was friendly. The room was practically bare. Not even a hair dryer. The beds and pillows were hard, uncomfortable. Small tv with very little selection. Breakfast was bare as well. Packaged pastry. The carpeting was tread worn and the lobby smelled. A one star.
Easy proximity to shopping & restaurants - lovely views of water & boating. great staff
Sitting on the deck overlooking the water enjoying breakfast in the morning and wine and cheese in the afternoon. Beautiful setting.
The hotel is quite lovely, with a nice deck overlooking the bay. The hotel is located next to a restaurant with outdoor seating, which is quite noisy, even after midnight. Parking for the hotel is a city lot; they will "validate" your parking ticket, but will charge you for it on your bill.
The location is stunning with an amazing view of the city accross the bay from the outside decking, take your breakfast tray out on to the deck on a nice day. Even number rooms look out over a very busy adjoining restaurant deck which can be pretty noisy.
Location. Deck. Wine hour!
Location for what I needed to do. Old room.
It's was okay you get what you paid for They need a new tv and a new phone for the room
No, the on-line was a misrepresentation. It indicated that rooms had microwave and small fridge. There was only one room with that and 10 dollar extra per night if we were to get that particular room. The hallway in the back building smell like urine. Flies would be around the hallways mainly because of the urine odor.
