architecture, location, friendly staff too often under a cloud from the Adriatic
beautifil view, excellent diner and wines
A beautiful, historic building in a fabulous location. Our room was simple but good and we loved the little balcony looking out over the Adriatic. It was a quiet and relaxing place and we would consider coming again, but.... The young woman at reception when we arrived was bored and impatient. We thought her rude. The meal we had in the restaurant was awful, tho the list of local wines was impressive and the service was pleasant.. The white fish was rubbery and inedible. Breakfasts were not good. The brioche on Monday morning were obviously two days old and like leather (much better the next day). The coffee was undrinkable. We decided not to eat in the hotel after our first meal...
The situation was perfect for a relaxing few days. Quiet and peaceful. in beautiful surroundings
Old convent transformed into a hotel. Rooms rather simple. Nice view and panorama from the room terraces and the breakfast room on the Conero and the seaside. Rooms somewhat simple.
Location A lot of original features removed. Pine clad ceiling and wooden floors also not in keeping with the promotional photos. As a result there was alot of noise from the room upstairs.
It was very nice and clean. The service was amazing! They let us check in early and store our bags there after check out so we could spend more time at the beach. Also, since there wasn't a bus coming, the girl that worked there personally drove us to the train station twenty minutes away. The hotel is in a great location near restaurants and the beach! No
