This is a very fine location in Tozeur. The hotel is quiet and very clean. Rooms were spotless and beds very comfortable. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. Located in the middle of Tozeur, it allows easy access (walk) to the markets and restaurants. Pool was clean and pleasant after a day in city or the oasis. Overall a very nice experience. The access to the hotel is somewhat disappointing as you must come from the "back door" using a back street that has no lights (could be intimidating at night). It would certainly be useful if lights would be installed by the city. However, once you get in, you quickly forget that you had to come from the back door!
The hotel is very new and clean, the room is enormous! Breakfast was simple but good, actually better than some buffet breakfast that I had. There was no hair dryer in the room but as soon as I checked in, I asked for one and it's free of charge and I kept it for the 3 days I stayed. The staff was nice too.
The staff was charming, the apartment was spacious and relatively clean. Another AC in the living room would have been nice, but each bedroom was equipped with its own AC. The continental breakfast was acceptable, we had boiled eggs, orange juice, butter, jam and bread in addition to coffee and warm milk. Parking space inside the hotel garden was limited, but we managed to get our car inside over night.
location & security great. wonderful pool and spa. very nice room. friendly. poor food (dinner)for this level of hotel. set menu with 2 choices. Buffet only appeared when groups arrived. great breakfast. Best to go out to eat. For the price you would expect a proper restaurant with chef and not just mediocre group food.
This residence is located in the heart of old town of Tozeur, very convenience to access to the old medina, every restaurant in old town on foot. Owner and staff was so friendly and also shown a great deal of hospitality. It was clean and wide inside the room. You can relax on the teracce.
I came to Tozeur not knowing much about what to do or how to get around and the staff were incredibly helpful in making my vacation stress free. They went as far as setting up camel rides for me and offering me cheap tours to all the sites around Tozeur. There was always someone at the front desk more than willing to help with a big smile, and I felt at home. This place really did exceed my expectations. When I arrived I hadn't realized my room didn't have an air conditioner, and I was slightly disappointed. You have to pay an extra 5 euros a night for that. However, the staff are more than willing to change your room for you if you need to. But in the end this want a big deal because the Sahara gets cool during the night, and it actually felt really great to just open your door for an hour before bed and let the fresh cool air in.
