camel rtide - jeep tour - evening in the tent arabian wa
Taxi drivers etc tried to convince us that Captains Desert Camp is not inside the Wadi Rum, i.e. not the "real thing" but really you are in the desert and it´s location is perfect for camel rides/ 4WD trips. Very peaceful place and we enjoyed the buffet dinner. We were a little dissapointed there was no music/ other entertainment in the evening.
I had been with my family i.e my wife , mother and my 2 year old son, it was a nice experience and value for money trip. the jeep tour is marvellous, it gives the experience of nature's effect on this part of geography. Food was okay and manageble. The camp staff were helpful in pulling the luggage, guiding us regarding their services and outside tours as well. Overall a nice experience Tourists, who are international always should fear the taxi drivers. my travel to and fro was more expensive than the stay at the camp. since i had a bit more luggage (might be the reason). As a suggestion if the camp people have their own minibus to atleast drop to a place where the public transport is available will help to save a ot of budget and can plan out for more trips in that country.
Excellent environment and good services, including advice and organisation on trips. The beduin style of the interior is attractif.
very nice and helpfull personal, adventure stay in tents near the Rum poor breakfast
