Good value for money The food is very expensive so we were compelled to eat out
I had the worst welcomeing in my life. I had a recial abuse by receptionist and I did not get the room that i have booked even i called thme before 3 times to comfirm about our arrival. but the recetionist called manan she was very unhelpfull and she is not suitable for front office to serve guest.so I will write to you a complain letter and also to the hotel managment. I had my worst check in of my life and its so shame for that hotel to employ some one like her ..but I will do further complain if you can guid me where and how..
Walking through the woods into Den Haag to explore the city or travel further afield. So easy from the Hotel all good
rooms were plenty big. all new. comfortable beds and seating. staff is very friendly and helpful. great breakfast. perfect location for me. quality provided exceeds cost. great value!!! one of the rooms smelled slightly of cigarette smoke. they offered to switch rooms.
Very helpful staff.
Great area. right next to the bus stop to get you into the Hague in 5 minutes. Free parking!!!
My room was comfortable and clean. The staff were courteous and the food was of a good quality and well cooked.
Ease and helpfulness of the staff N/A
the location is briljant. good value for money in terms of food, drinks and room clearly not catering for somebody who stays there for a week: no gym or pool or facility to quietly work as a businessman
easy and quick to check in and out of the hotel there was no coffee/tea in the room
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was nice and modern but still had a homely feel. The location of the hotel means that once you are there its not easy to say go to a shop or to a different place to eat. There were no coffee or tea making facilities so had to resort to a vending machine to avoid paying a lot for room service.
Kind staff - good value for money Hotel is slightly 'run down' but charming. Could do with a refurbishing.
Location and nice sized rooms. Very helpful staff. Very expensive restaurant which did not provide a child friendly menu. In addition you could not sit in the restaurant without breathing in second hand smoke. No coffee making facilities provided in the rooms.
I chose the Kieviet Hotel because of the specific location. I had a reason to be in the neighbourhood and the hotel was in walking distance to the places I wanted to see. However, this hotel is not centrally located so people staying here should know the area. The hotel is very comfortable and the people are very helpful and polite. However, I found the hotel to be overpriced for the type of room and the breakfast (included in the price). The breakfast was ok but not terrific - the usual selection of items for a simple buffet.
Great parking lot in terms of size. Staff hard to find on arrival. Low water pressure in bathroom. Cold remains of scrambled egg at breakfast at 9 a.m. No staff. Parking lot full of holes which themselves were full of water due to heavy rain. Overall: management attention required!
The hotel is in a very quiet and beautiful residential area. It is clean and in very good shape. The breakfast was quite good and the price was reasonable. Our standard room was a little small and the matresses were not firm.
Spacious quiet rooms, good breakfast, free parking. Some areas of the hotel could be spruced up or modernised. For example; for some reason there's grafitti scratched into the lift. At full price I think I would have been disappointed but with a discount it's fit for purpose.
Pleasant staff. Located in very pretty residential area. Room and some common areas feel a bit worn. Breakfast buffet OK, but limited compared to other hotels in area.
the atmosphere, ambiance and environment the cleanliness of the room, the poorly trained staff
No mini bar, no water in the room, unacceptable for such a price
The Kieviet is located in 'old' Wassenaar, with the benefit of being a short taxi ride to Den Haag or Scheveningen. I love its location in the woods, and ample outdoor terraces. Rooms are generous in size. The hotel is a faded glory. Over the last 20 years it has traded on a past reputation and there has been little investment in f,f & E. It seems like the management (which I understand has changed several times) is trying to compete on price with the Van der Valk hotel barely a km away. They dont need to. The Van der Valk is a bog-standard IBIS-type soulless place. The Kieviet should invest in upgrades and charge more. The € 84 per night rate is silly. I would rather pay € 110 per night and have a refurbed bathroom and a decent breakfast. The breakfast was poor. I arrived at 09.30 - no staff in sight. no coffee left. no tables cleared up. a shame, because the Kieviet has all the potential to be a 4 star+ hotel, but trades like a 2.
Nice & modern. Bit minimalistic but all things you need in a room. Cool late night bar. I wasn't convinced about the flatscreen TV within the mirror so you couldn't turn it. Parking is extra but they give you a discount as it gets pricey very quickly.
Amenities, Nespresso machine were good! TV was very strange. And function of 'Smart TV'(?) didn't work. They didn't give a full detail of method for 'Smart TV' operation. Even remote control didn't work well.
Very stylish hotel. Futuristic. TV in the mirror. Nice!! Excellent breakfast. They even make omelets. This is rare in Europe. Super great staff. Friendly, very helpful. Parking expensive. Even though the hotel does give a discount.
The hotel is situated perfectly in regards to Public Transportation to the upland of Rotterdam. The receptionstaff was very service and the food was great. Free Wireless internet is an absolute plus for the hotel. Can really be recommended to all travelers - both an leasure and business travel
dejligt centralt og god beliggenhed med god udsigt
Dejlig udsigt, god morgenmadsbuffet
Beliggenheden ! Sengen !
The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable We didnt take the breakfast which was a little expensive when our party was 6 people. I think yours should be inclusive of breakfast
Location, price, bar, availability of lifts
One of the worst rooms I have ever stayed - very depressing. Lighting was awful as was furniture. Why such a big room (defined 'suite') if over half is just empty space? It looked like a prison cell.
very elegant, new and hip room interior design. Impressive bathroom. Very clean. Central position. Good breakfast also a bit expensive for the quality. noise from street
well located in the centre of the city
Room was nice, not small, extra pillows, mini-bar, some magazines, bathtub (not a shower) in the bathroom.
Very central location. Next to de Bijenkorf. The room itself is al little bit out-dated. Curtains are a greyish white instead of white. Bed is not the newest of beds. But for the price ok.
Central location. Near the train station and near several bars/cafes
Your women personal, very receptive, kind and nice. The position of hotel is in a very nice town area. Is not possible to have something for eat after 11 PM. Fun from toilette is working continously with high noise.
great location, nice bathroom cleanliness of my room, view to the backside, wifi with charge
Worked and shopped not really
Close to airport, good size rooms very modern and clean. Very good staff
Good access for the airport Room looking a little tired with redecoration necessary to one wall where there seemed to be some structural problem.
The breakfast was terrific and staff very helpful
if you like one night in the hospithal incl hospithal beth this is the best place in town
Relax with peace and quiet in comfort nope
good meal, comfortable room Poor quality towels rather worn and rather small!
The airport shuttle bus did not start early enough for my flight departure
The hotel itself is great and is very modern and the breakfast is excellent. The hotel is literally an airport hotel as it very close to the airport but it is not close to the centre. To go to the centre you'd have to catch a 15 -20 min bus (the bus stop is minutes way from the hotel) which costs 2.50 Euro pp one way.
Free parking, 24h reception Dirty rooms. No cleaning during stay. It takes a lot of time to check in/out.
clean, comfort, cordial staff
Great location - just next to the metro station, and in walking distance from the shopping area, museums and restaurants, 10 min walk from the central station. Very convenient. Car parking seems expensive, but compared to the prices in the city, it's a bargain :) Lovely view from the hotel room of the Rotterdam panorama. Room was clean, comfy beds. Plus in the lobby there was a screen with train information - very handy. The sauna was not hot enough :(
Ease of access to Rotterdam Central, great restuarants nearby and warm confortable rooms and services
Room layout Breakfast reception and area layout could be improved
the hotel is near at the shopping centre and musea.
Perfect location, large, cosy rooms, nice balconies and very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money.
A wonderful meal, a comfy bed The room was a little too hot and with the window open, we suffered from mosquito bites
Easy Tram access to Train Station, Service staff attentive to my needs, Quiet rooms, availability of Internet in lobby
very good location not being able to open the windows
Sense of history in this old building set close to shore. Great shower
The hotel is like a film set, very special. Staff are polite and helpful, a rare thing today.
The hotel reflects in a fantastic way the early 20th century atmosphere. It's nice to see how the actual requirements for comfort have been matched with the originality and look of the building dating from around 1910. It's worse visiting the hotel as well as the great looking restaurant. Well done.
Old style of hotel Could not open the window (just doesn't work), also no possibility to make a tea in the room - should pay for room service
Spacy rooms, pleasant restaurant environment service in restaurant is poor. Staff is not watching clients.
A fabulous resturant with friendly and attentive service, great atmosphere Nothing
The "funky" nature of the room design; it retained an atmosphere in keeping with it's past. I couldn't get a meal until 8.30pm so had to eat elsewhere; residents should be able to eat when they want to.
the hotel offered a spacious room with a special design. the location was perfect for our activity in the cruise terminal. bar was closed to early
the ambiance is wonderful. we stayed there the night before a cruise with the Holland America Line and as everything inside of this hotel reminds you of the former HAL it was wonderful to stay there. although the hotel has an elevator in the hotel, the hotel entrance it is not suitcase-friendly. It could be that we have missed the elevator outside the hotel but if that is the case this facility is not clearly mentioned.
It took me back to the times when passengers (including inmigrants) used it as the main cruise and passenger terminal (old and nice). I liked it in general
