Fantastisk udsigt over Lagos og havet. God beliggenhed, tæt ved den gamle by og gå afstand til gode strande.
Det kan være lidt svært at finde parkering.

Interior was rather dated. Loungers uncomfortable. Did not live up to expectations based on website photos.

The location was great, just a short walk to plenty of restaurants and the most beautiful beaches in all of the Algarve. The folks at reception were so helpful - we were able to rent beach towels from them for 1.50 euros each, and they even replaced these with fresh ones the next day. The huge pile of free books in various languages was a big bonus for me as a beach reader! Plus, we arrived to a bottle of wine in the fridge and a big jug of water, included free with the room. What a fantastic set up!
There’s free street parking, but it can be quite competitive to get a spot, especially later in the day. This seems to be true across the entire area of Lagos though, so just be prepared. Reception is also not always easily available, so if you have specific times you need to check in/out at I would recommend communicating those to someone and they’ll accommodate!

Baluarte da Vila Apartments is a bit uphill and outside of the hurly-burly of central Lagos (still only 3-4 minutes walking distance to the centre). For us this was an advantage as Lagos is still very full at the end of August as are the beaches around. From the apartment you could see the sea and the pool. The owner was very kind and helpful and on arriving showed us everything we needed to know on a map. Rooms were clean, comfortable and well looked after.

"Great location- easy to walk to restaurants and beaches. Has a beautiful pool and we had a wonderful roof top deck with our room. Could be a lot of steps for some people. Would definitely stay here again"
