Jardim Da Meia Praia Hotel

The apartments were very large, with an ensuite bathroom to the main bedroom, and two other large bedrooms. Great kitchen facilities including a washing machine, freezer, and coffee machine. The pool area was lovely and generally the complex is very well maintained and pleasant with lots of greenery. It also feels very safe and is a perfect place for families with young children. Although it's a fair walk away (15-20 minutes), Meia Praia beach is a great beach with soft, white sand. Lagos was also really nice with lots to do and good restaurants and bars (around 2 miles away from the property).

The location is not ideal if you don't have a car. It's fine if you want to stay at the complex most of the time and just lie by the pool or go to the beach, but otherwise you have to take taxis everywhere (the on-site restaurant is okay but you wouldn't want to eat there all the time). You are basically 2 miles away from the closest supermarket and there are only one or two decent restaurants in the nearby area (the Jardim Restaurant which is close to Meia Praia beach is the best).

Spacious and nice staff.

The cleaning were strangely planned, we got out second and last cleaning the night before we were leaving. We could have used it (including new towels) a few days earlier during the week.

It was superb accommodation . We self catered most of the time as the appartment such high spec and kitchen great .Staff very professional. Really all fantastic

A little far from beach - over 2 km and Difficult walk in heat but beach beautiful

Very nice 3 bed Townhouse. No.101 was in a lovely quiet and sunny location. Gated and safe, security excellent. Spotless on arrival. We didn't have a car but managed with taxis for trips to Marina and supermarket, 10euros each way. A small supermarket for milk water etc on site would have been useful, nearest was a 20min walk. Lovely pool and children's pool with attentive lifeguard/supervisor present. A very family orientated complex, super for a friendly relaxing holiday. Gardens and grounds very well kept and pretty. Only ate at Destinos on-site restaurant in evening once and fine. The full English breakfast was very good. Bar staff excellent, friendly and helpful as were all staff to be honest. We did walk the 20min downhill walk to the beach which was unspoilt and not commercialised. Sun beds (2) and umbrellas available 12.50 euros a day. The restaurant on the beach was super, amazing food, especially the fish. Family friendly too. 18month old catered for brilliantly. The Jardim restaurant on the roundabout also served amazing food. Trip to Marina essential - lovely boat trips available for all ages and a lovely market. Ate at the restaurant above the fish market and again amazing food. Lovely walking around the streets plenty of little shops and bars and street cafes, lovely unspoilt atmosphere. Would like to return to Lagos one day to see more!!

Only the mosquito that came into my bedroom but he got squashed.!!
