Man on front desk was nice that's it

Nothing the breakfast was poor the cup of tea was made in microwave in a metal kettle there was people smoking on the landing by the fire door people running about drunk the room was not clean the carpet was dirty the bed was broken the room phone did not work WiFi not work and the bathroom I full over as it was wet the only good thing was the man on the front desk was very nice helpfull may partner said the room was too hot it was so bad I wish I got a refund and gone some were els

very smiley staff (seemed to think the bigger the smile the more it compensated for the other failings of the hotel. It did not.)

Breakfast was pathetic, all that was available was a small box of children's cereal, flannel bread/toast (with the toaster needing three passes warm the bread), help yourself tea and coffee. Absolutely no redeeming features. The fan in the bedroom was little more than a toilet extractor fan, so didn't keep the room at a reasonable temperature, hence why all the doors were propped open with stools. Share facilities just about functioned, though the shower took several minutes to get to temperature, if you like it tepid. No windows in the room meant no option to get any air circulating.

The staff were very welcoming and lovely. Also when we complained, they accommodated us straight away

The rooms need a deep clean and some new carpets
