    It is quite a long way from the central railway station to this hotel.

    Very good breakfasts, very polite host.

    First of all, if you want to check-in late evening, of course you can, but there will be no one to let you in - you need to call the host, so he can give you code to the main door. Why is the point of asking what time you arrive, when there’s no one to check you in?! Also, you can hear everything through walls - what’s going on in the room next door, everything from the outside.

    We were happy with the room we received on the 2nd floor of the building - it was quite large and very clean, and also very quiet, just as we specified. The breakfast was delicious, one of the best coffees I have had at a B&B. Check-in and check-out procedures were smooth and I think the place has very good price/quality ratio. Location wise, it is perfect - very close to the center of Palermo and many restaurants. We found a great place to eat for our night there, about 200 meters away.

    My biggest problem was with the parking, you can only park on the street where the B&B is if you have a very small car, e.g. a Fiat 500 - we had something much bigger than that so I could not venture on those streets. In the end, after 30 mins of driving around in the chaotic traffic of Palermo, we did not find an actual, legal parking space nearby, so we just left it in front of a restaurant, 3 mins walking distance from the B&B, but we were definitely quite scared to leave it there as it was not actually a parking space, and also the neighbourhood looks a bit dodgy. Fortunately, all was good the next morning.
