It was clean and everything worked. Coffee in the room was great. I liked that there was a coffee shop downstairs too.

Stairs difficult with suitcase, generally pretty basic

LOVE the location! Right in the middle of Phuket Old Town. The rooms have been renovated very stylishly.

The beds were a little too firm and the shower temperature cannot adjust. On arrival, we were told to be quiet on the wooden floor as the coffee shop is below so that dampened the mood while traveling with boys who are playful. There is a floor level window that can be opened completely which is very unsafe for kids. It needs a seal or lock. Upon check out, we couldn't find our host and when asking coffee shop staff, they didn't understand and recited the menu to us. The area has only one coffee shop with only banana bread open before 8:30 so stock up on your own breakfast foods!

The room was beautifully decorated, and clean.

The room smelt like it had just been fumigated or sprayed with something very chemical - the smell did not go away at all, and was very uncomfortable. The stairs were very steep going up to the room, it was awkward to take my luggage up even with help.
