We really enjoyed our stay at the Banyan tree. It was so peaceful and homey. The staff was wonderful. We were pampered and taken care of from the moment we stepped on the property. The villa was well cleaned and attended to during our stay.
Prices of the restaurants were quite pricey and the food wasn’t really worth it.

Everything! The location, the amazing considerate and friendly staff, the privacy, the amenities, the whole experience just staying at Banyan Tree Mayakoba was amazing! You MUST try the Haab experience, it was an amazing experience. Also, FYI the hotel offers free professional photo sessions which you only need to pay for the actual photos(we were bummed that no one told us we would’ve liked to try it).
I wish there was an all inclusive package, not sure if there is. Also, it wasn’t clear to us that the food stations(french toast, omelette, quesadilla stations) at the breakfast buffet were not included in the price of the breakfast buffet.

Loved that everyone has their own private villa - I felt like I had the entire resort to myself . The staff was also super friendly
The beach was gorgeous but the actual ocean wasn’t as crystal clear and blue as Cancun :/
