We are an American family that spent 10 days here in September 2019. We have 4 kids, 5,7,9,10 - they all agreed this was the best vacation ever. Better than all-inclusives in Mexico/Caribbean because so much more to do. Egypt is amazing. I think we were the only Americans in Sharm and we were treated exceptionally. Everyone speaks English and Russian and of course Arabic. We can't wait to return. FOOD: You have 2 major buffets to choose from for all meals. One near the entrance and one down by the beach (with incredible views!) Both offer similar selections of hot and cold items...huge selection. We were there for 10 days and never got sick of it! My favorite was the sushi from the sushi chef!! We were nervous about the all-inclusive, if it's what we've been used to in America and it was exactly the same!! Didn't have to pay for a thing once we arrived! POOOLS: There are tons of pools!!! They are amazing! The waterpark area is awesome. Our kids never got sick of it. I was nervous about earlier reviews that they would have to be 10 years old, but this isn't the case anymore. My 5 year old can swim and they let him ride everything, no problem SEA: The sea is AMAZING. I think the best in Sharm. The snorkeling is like nothing i have ever done anywhere else, and it's free, right outside resort. Every day there were chartered yatchs bringing people to our resort on excursions for snorkeling - it's that good. You can also rent the full face masks or traditional snorkling gear right there on the beach, or buy it at the beach shop. Staff is incredible. Like truly couldn't have treated us any better. They're relaxed and let kids have fun - not crazy rules like the Europeans. They have lifeguards everywhere which is great. EXCURSIONS: there are SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES to leave the resort for nearby excursions!!! Look it up before you leave an explore what you want to do! We climbed Mt. Sinai at night and watched sunset.

we liked it all - egypt is amazing. But the one thing that did cost was ice cream on site. ha.
