The hotel is in a great location in Fira and is a five minute walk to the bus station which can take you to most places on the island, including the airport. Breakfast was continental with something for everyone. Because it is a boutique hotel, it does not have a room for breakfast so it is brought to you room at a time you choose. The room overlooked the street below; rooms with a view of the Caldera (cliffs) appeared to be better with terraces overlooking the ocean. There is a rooftop which also has great views and one could take your drink up there or just sit and watch the oceanview. We were there in the middle of February and there was a cool breeze which did not encourage sitting outside. George the gentleman who managed the front desk while we were there was most helpful in suggesting directions, where to visit, restaurants, etc. He suggested a restaurant about two minutes walk from the hotel: Naoussa which turned out to be a great choice with riich food at moderate prices. Using the city buses was a great way to get around the island and the buses were more like tour buses, very comfortable.

The hotel has a sister property which has more facilities which are available to guests of both hotels. However, the other hotel was closed for the season which was unfortunate, but it was winter.
