The Stockholm-Arlanda airport is about 26 miles north of Stockholm and is the largest airport in Sweden. It's made up of four terminals: 2, 3, 4 and 5, along with a dining and shopping center know as SkyCity. Terminals 2 and 5 are the international terminals, while 3 and 4 function as the domestic terminals. Stockholm-Arlanda is also one of the major hubs of SAS. If you're coming from Stockholm, the E-4 north takes you directly to Stockholm-Arlanda. Watch for signs to the airport.

Terminal 2

Terminal 2 is one of two international terminals and it services: Air Berlin, British Airways, Finnair, FlyNordic, Germanwings, Iberia, Iceland Express, Malev Hungarian Airlines, Norwegian Air Shuttle, Sterling, TAP Portugal and Tui fly.com. For the most part, all terminals at Stockholm-Arlanda are self-sufficient with their own train and bus stations, nearby parking, services, shops and restaurants. Also, all check-in must occur at the same terminal from which the flight is leaving.

Terminal 3

Terminal 3 is by far the smallest terminal at Stockholm-Arlanda and is the exception to the self-sufficient rule. Many of the services for Terminal 3 can be found at Terminal 2, such as the train and bus stations. Also, Terminal 3 has the fewest options for dining or shopping. It is one of two domestic terminals and the two airlines that operate out of it are Nextjet and Skyways.

Terminal 4

Terminal 4 is the other domestic terminal and it services following airlines: FlyNordic, Nordic Leisure, Nordic Regional, SAS Scandinavian Airlines and Sterling. Though it has some of its own dining, shopping and services, it is located right next to SkyCity, Stockhom-Arlanda's shopping center, which has a variety of choices. If you find yourself with extra time on your hands, you may want to stop there before passing security a the terminal.

Terminal 5

The largest and newest terminal, Terminal 5 serves international flights from these airlines: Aeroflot, Aerosvit Airlines, Air Åland, Air Baltic, Air China, Air France, Air Malta, Alitalia, Arkia, Atlas Jet, Austrian Airlines, Blue1, Cimber Air, Continental Airlines, CSA Czech Airlines, Dubrovnik Airline, Estonian Air, Ethiopian Airlines, Eurocypria, Free Bird International, Futura, Hemus Air, Icelandair, Iran Air, Israir, JAT, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Malaysia Airlines, Malev Hungarian Airlines, My Travel, Nordic Leisure, Nouvelair Tunisie, Novair, Primera Air, Rossiya-Russian Airlines, SAS Scandinavian Airlines, Sata, Skyways, Spanair, Sterling, Swiss, Syrian Arab Airlines, Thai Airways International, TUIfly Nordic, Turkish Airlines, US Airways and Viking Airlines. You can find everything you might need in Terminal 5, but for those who want even more dining and shopping options, it is also next to SkyCity.
