General Mitchell International Airport is the largest airport in Wisconsin and is located in Milwaukee. Milwaukee County operates the airport, which offers direct or nonstop flights to 90 destinations. General Mitchell serves twelve airlines offering both domestic and international flights. Directions
From points north, take I-43S toward Milwaukee. Travel approximately 58 miles on I-43S and take Exit 314B (Howard Avenue). Turn right onto West Howard Avenue. Turn right onto WI-38S and left onto E. Joseph Hutsteiner Drive. Follow signs to airport. From points south, take I-94W to Exit 318 toward General Mitchell International Airport. Take exit toward WI-38 (Remote Parking). Turn left onto WI-38N. Follow signs to General Mitchell International Airport.
Concourse C
Concourse C of General Mitchell International Airport serves United Express, Air
Canada, American Eagle, Frontier, Lufthansa, and Delta/Comair. The concourse
has shops, conference rooms, executive work stations, and other amenities that make traveling more convenient for airline passengers. Stairs are available for travelers to access baggage claim and the walkway to the parking garage is on this level of the airport.
Concourse D
Concourse D serves Midwest Airlines, Midwest Connect, and US Airways Express. The concourse contains a family care room, shops, a first aid station, traveler services, and restaurants/lounges. Travelers can easily access the parking garage via a walkway located between Concourse D and Concourse E. There is also an elevator to airline ticketing to make navigating through the airport easier.
Concourse E
Concourse D at General Mitchell International Airport serves AirTran, Continental Express, and Northwest Airlines. Concourse E does not have any restaurants or shops, but it provides easy access to ticketing, baggage claim, and the parking garage via a walkway that connects the garage with the terminal building. The family care room and first aid station in Concourse D are located very near Concourse E for easy access.
