Car performed well, but smelled from smoke. Very excessive wait time at counter before being able to speak to agent. Pre-registering had almost no effect on the total time required to complete the rental transaction. We had a one way rental starting in CHS an ending in Hilton Head. We prepaid gas. The car tire went flat on the second day. Luckily we were still in Charleston. It took over an hour to trade out the car as the folks receiving it made me go back and forth to the counter. Then they closed out my contract inappropriately. We got an upgraded car which was nice however when we went to turn in the car the prepay was not there and the gent in Hilton Head said the car was supposed to be returned in CHS.Anmeldt d. 3. feb. 2024

It took almost an hour to locate a car. It seems I reserved the last suv which was a new car that they didn’t want to leave the state. Other then that I was very satisfied and will definitely use their service again.Anmeldt d. 11. jun. 2023

After waiting for two hours, I was told that there were no cars available at this location and the persons working there were no help. I had to switch my reservation to the Charleston Airport myself. The budget employee stated that they were unable to do so themselves.Anmeldt d. 1. maj 2023

Picking up a car at the airport to go one way was a disaster. It took me two hours to get my rental car. They had one person in the garage getting the cars for people. It was disorganized lack of staff. I will never use Avis rental car services again. When it was time to drop off my car back at the airport, that was a hot mess as well. No one there to tell me what to do. I sat in the car for 10 minutes before I decided just to park it and leave the keys in it. I absolutely terrible management.Anmeldt d. 24. apr. 2023

We waited in the rental line at Charleston airport for 1 hour to fill out paperwork to pick up the car. We thought we were in the clear as we headed to the garage….we were wrong. Another HOUR wait to receive the car. Car itself was great and drop off had no issues. But 2 hour wait to pickup is unacceptable.Anmeldt d. 16. apr. 2023

The line for Budget was tens of people long with only one person working the counter and also answering calls. It would have taken hours. We finally gave up and paid more to get a car from Alamo where there was no line.Anmeldt d. 8. apr. 2023
