Ulemper: Having announcements in the lounge or a better choice of beverages on board would be great....also surprised there were zero reading materials available in business class

Ulemper: Food. Don’t serve anything if it is going to be that bad. And offer beverages

Ulemper: With COVID 19 middle seats were taken and vans from flight to gate was packed. No consideration beside having us wear mask
Fordele: Liked that the busses to gate at arrival were not packed
Ulemper: Not having middle seats filled thought that was terrible
Fordele: Check in was efficient. I like that they have generous carry on policy. No checked bag fees. Boarding was quick and easy.
Fordele: Short flight, comfortable schedule
Ulemper: I did not get a comfortable seat
Fordele: Everything was handled very efficiently. Good signage at the airport for most things. Flew economy as the flight was only 2 hours. Free water bottles handed out with wet wipe but no food available.
Ulemper: Collecting bags was easy and we’ll sign posted. Exit to the arrival hall was a bit confusing but we were directed to the appropriate gate (by colour of boarding pass) and baggage check removed when checked against luggage
Fordele: The Hanoi airport was great. Had hand sanitization centers and medical staff to monitor people during this corona virus outbreak. The plane was very nice and clean and they did not pass out blankets due to the virus. The crew was very nice and attentive.
Fordele: They boarded the plane early, which meant we arrived at our destination early.
Ulemper: All we got was a bottle of water.
Fordele: Vietnam airlines stands out in SE Asian carriers. Great service and planes leaving and arriving on time.
Ulemper: Keep up great service standards

Ulemper: Choice of movies. And documentaries Incessant publicity on board. As if we didn’t know VietnamAirlines
Fordele: The flight was short but comfortable. The flight also included lunch service that was also good. Overall, good value for money.
Ulemper: No help in sorting out visa issue. Flight canceled. Hope they treat me right on rebooking after embassy visit in AM.
Fordele: Crew were great. Seating was comfortable.
Ulemper: Boarding seems a bit of a crazy process.
Fordele: Plane is good

Fordele: The flight was quick, limited turbulence, and the crew was very friendly and pleasant to fly with. The only negative was the plane itself.
Ulemper: The plane smelt like fresh urine, chemicals, feces, and burning rubber. Simply put, the plane should not be in active rotation. It felt immensely unsafe as the plane rattled and moaned throughout the flight.
Fordele: Was given lounge access, quick easy boarding, very organized.
Ulemper: I purchased an exit row seat. Upon checking they confirmed my seat number but did not inform me of an equipment change so I was no longer in an exit row. The crew was great and allowed me to take the exit row seat after boarding was complete
Fordele: seat uncomfortable, food wasn't good
Ulemper: armrest seats should moveable for a child can lay down during 11hrs45' fly. Terrible experience! My seat number was 53A,B, and C wasn't moveable, boeing 777
Fordele: Because of my Platinum status with Delta the gate agent changed our seats to more legroom in exit row
Ulemper: We’re used to entertainment in seat like delta
Ulemper: Excellent service over all.
Ulemper: Plane felt like it was in poor condition. The brakes squealed loudly, the panels vibrated during take off and landing.
Fordele: Crew was accommodating, seat space for economy was generous and comfortable for a 2hr flight.
Ulemper: Luggage allowance for economy is only one check-in bag, as opposed to most airlines these days, which give two check-in bags. For the price paid (almost $300) for a return trip to Yangon from HCMC, this is expensive -- and I booked over a month in advance. Should be offering more leverage.
Fordele: Reasonable price and not complicated
Ulemper: Cabin atmosphere, our seated very hot because air conditioning wasn't cold from Osaka until Hanoi even we have informed few staffs but nothing change.
Ulemper: On-time departure
Fordele: Didn’t seem perfectly organized at all times. But they did a good job regardless.
Fordele: The crew was great.
Ulemper: But the aircraft is not well maintained inside. Sticky substance on armrest and tray; Seat-back pocket torn and everything inside filthy. Magazine pages stuck together due to spilled sugary beverages.
Fordele: The flight attendants were wonderful and the business class seats were very spacious and comfortable.
Fordele: Friendly crew. Short flight, very efficient
Ulemper: It’s satisfying everytime I fly with VietnamAirlines. Except that a kid behind me kicked my seat nonstop. Literally, nonstop!
Fordele: no-nonsense, plain flight, what else would a frequent flyer wish?

Ulemper: In-flight entertainment
Ulemper: If a flight is delayed, they could inform us.
Ulemper: Cabin temperature was too low, and that’s a typical problem when flying Vietnam airlines, they almost freeze you
Ulemper: Ruined flight due to excessive baggage charge which is clearly just stealing from customer at check in... 1800 bhat for one small case! Never again with Vietnam Air
Ulemper: They could improve on the entertainment and service.
Fordele: The cabin crew were very pleasant.
Ulemper: The airport departure noticeboard was a mess, giving confusing information about flights and gates, as well as information which contradicted what was on the boarding pass. Not just about my flight, but about several flights. The PA announcements didn't clarify, until the very last minute.
Ulemper: Very little. Just a great flight .
Ulemper: Got me there, no worries.
By far the worst airline I've flown with
Fordele: Food was the only good part
Ulemper: The crew was rude, no blankets, no entertainment. Overall was not good

Ulemper: Cleanliness of plane interior can be improved.
Fordele: The flights left and arrived on time.
Ulemper: When connecting from a domestic flight to an international flight in Hanoi they do not check your bags to the final destination. They also do not inform you that you have to change terminals when arriving in Hanoi. I barely made the connection because of these two issues.
Ulemper: Allowing the boarding of business class passengers before economy class passengers.
Ulemper: More chairs at boarding gate in Bangkok, please
Fordele: Got a good seat (aisle in exit row--I'm 6'2") without asking for anything special. Adequate meal even though the flight was only 2.5 hours.
Ulemper: I could not check in online.
Ulemper: Departing on time, boarding more organized fashion.
Fordele: plane was new and captain was professional
Ulemper: plane was badly late and the boarding process was poorly coordinated
Fordele: The crew was very nice.
Ulemper: There were passengers clapping through the whole flight.
Fordele: The fact that it was an over night flight.
Ulemper: 1) The service was terrible terrible. 2) food was extremely poor. You cannot offer *only* pork and fish. 3) Bad entertainment system. Namely no movie descriptions, bad infotainment system navigation. Poor subtitle choice.

Fordele: The entire flight was pleasurable. The crew was outstanding.
Ulemper: Apparently the records showed that credit card used did not match with the actual card used. I used my Kayak account to book 7 tickets. My friend used his credit card to pay for all 7 tickets. The records showed that my wife’s credit card was used when in fact my friend’s card was charged.
