Great flight
Fordele: The flight from Windhoek to JoBrg was fast, comfortable and easy. Lots of leg room, very polite service and a meal served.
Ulemper: The negatives were that the meal was not really to our liking but that could be personal taste and the boarding at Windhoek was confusing. The plane was a little old looking inside but made up for it in comfort and was very clean. If they improved the other 2 issues I would give them a 5 on all counts. Oh and little entertainment but it was a short flight.
Fordele: Reasonable price and friendly service.

Fordele: The crew onboard were absolutely fantastic! Super friendly and helpful. One of the flight attendants even brought me a pillow and blanket when he saw me laying down.
Ulemper: The long delay in Windhoek without communication from staff about what was going on.
Fordele: never got to be on the plane since the flight was cancelled without notice nor explanation.
Ulemper: No service at all given. I had to organize myself alone!!! Waited 8 hours at he airport without any help. Nowhere to claim, no reimbursement...just nothing.Was transferred on another airline that did not explain anything. Very bad first and last experience
Flight Cancellation - Terrible Service
Fordele: I was placed in a very nice hotel for the night. Emirates staff very helpful in helping me get on another flight.
Ulemper: When I arrived at the airport the next morning on January 1st 2017 to get on another flight, the lady at the OR Tambo Air Namibia ticketing office (her name is Happy) gave me a very hard time. She told me that the staff from the night before should not have put me in a hotel, and that she could not give me another flight. Her reason was that I had booked the flight through a travel agency website and so it was not Air Namibia's responsibility to get me on another flight. When I tried to explain to her why it was she started to yell at me. "Don't tell me how to do my job", she said. As I started to explain again that I paid for the flight and that Air Namibia surely received compensation and would not be out any money by placing me on another flight she told me to "stop arguing" with her.
I took my claim to the Emirates counter, very upset from a fight I did not need to have and lack of sleep the past two days of traveling. The Emirates staff called Happy over to explain to her why she should get me on a flight. Happy finally agreed, but by this time the flight was about to leave and I almost missed it. Because of her delay, I had to run through the airport, and my bag did not make it on. When I finally received my luggage a week later, it was broken and torn with the contents spilling out.
If Happy had better customer service skills and had helped me instead of giving me a hard time, I would not have had the horrible day that I did and resultant destroyed luggage.
In my opinion, she should be fired, and I strongly advise Emirates not to connect flights with this airline (who apparently makes these types of cancellations every year). Small Plane, On Time, Nice FA
Fordele: I took Air Namibia from Victoria Falls to Windhoek. It was a small plane (3 seats across total) which I don't like too much as you feel every like bit of turbulence. With the exception of take off and landing, it was fine. They served food and free drinks even though it was an hour and forty-five minute flight which surprised me. Overall, I was pleased. There were only 14 passengers and one flight attendant.
Flight was delayed
Fordele: The state of the art new Walvis Bay terminal. It was spotless.
Ulemper: The plane is parked so far from the terminal.
Pleasantly surprised.
Fordele: I liked the fact that they served drinks right away. It's nice to sit back and relax. The food was plentiful and good. I was pleasantly surprised.
Ulemper: They lost our luggage dispate the fact that this was only 50 minutes flight! Also, we left late, and the process to track down our luggage was terrible! We had to buy extra stuff and no one will reimburse us for this.

Disastrous. It left me stranded in Maun for 2 nigh
Fordele: Nothing. The flight never happened. I missed the start of my tour in Namibia. Finally had to rent a car and driver along with 2 other people and drive for 8 hours to Windhoek.
Ulemper: The fact that I got bumped from the flight because the plane was already full then got stranded in Maun for a second night with no prospect of a flight on the 3rd day.
Ulemper: My air was broken. The flight was nauseating. The flight attendants were extremely rude. There were drinks and food offered to some passengers but not others. The flight attendants did not speak in English and did not seem to care if anyone understood what they said in Spanish. The plane was old and creepy looking.
Fordele: No delays. Efficient meal service.
Ulemper: Cabin crew could be a bit friendlier.
It was easy to check in online, but it's not possible to print a boarding pass, so still had to stand in line at the airport.
Pleasantly surprised!
Fordele: Full meal service, even on 1.5hr flight. Smooth take off and landing. Excellent inflight service. Free checked bag.
Ulemper: Nothing. Flight was great.

Ulemper: Would not recommend air Namibia as service is inadequate. The row of seats that we sat on were broken so we were unable to recline our seats during a 10 hour flight. You cannot do online check-in with this airline so you better be check-in in person early to choose your seats. Otherwise they might give you some really ceappy seats.
Delayed in both flight 5 and 2 hours respectevly.

Fordele: Flyet fra Windhoek til JoBrg var hurtigt, komfortabelt og nemt. Masser af benplads, meget høflig service og et måltid serveret.
Ulemper: De negative var, at måltidet ikke var til vores smag, men det kunne være personlig smag, og boarding på Windhoek var forvirrende. Flyet var lidt gammelt og så ind i huset, men det blev gjort komfortabelt og var meget rent. Hvis de forbedrede de to andre spørgsmål, ville jeg give dem 5 på alle punkter. Åh og lidt underholdning, men det var en kort flyvning.
Fordele: Rimelig pris og venlig service.

Fordele: Besætningen om bord var helt fantastisk! Super venligt og hjælpsomt. En af flypersonalet bragte mig endda en pude og et tæppe, da han så mig lægge mig om.
Ulemper: Den lange forsinkelse i Windhoek uden kommunikation fra personalet om, hvad der foregik.
Fordele: kom aldrig med flyet, da flyet blev aflyst uden varsel eller forklaring.
Ulemper: Ingen service overhovedet givet. Jeg var nødt til at organisere mig selv alene!!! Ventede 8 timer i lufthavnen uden hjælp. Ingen steder at gøre krav på, ingen refusion ... bare ingenting. Blev overført til et andet flyselskab, der ikke forklarede noget. Meget dårlig første og sidste oplevelse

Fordele: Jeg tog Air Namibia fra Victoria Falls til Windhoek. Det var et lille fly (3 sæder i alt), som jeg ikke bryder mig om alt for meget, da du føler alt for turbulens. Med undtagelse af start og landing var det fint. De serverede mad og gratis drikkevarer, selv om det var en times og 45 minutters flyvning, som overraskede mig. Alt i alt var jeg glad. Der var kun 14 passagerer og en flyassistent.

Fordele: Det nye i det nyeste Bay terminal. Det var skinnende rent.
Ulemper: Flyet er parkeret så langt fra terminalen.

Fordele: Jeg kunne rigtig godt lide, at de serverede drikkevarer lige med det samme. Det er rart at læne sig tilbage og slappe af. Maden var rigeligt og godt. Jeg blev glædeligt overrasket.
Ulemper: De mistede vores bagage, fordi dette kun var 50 minutters flyvning! Vi tog også sent af sted, og processen med at finde vores bagage var forfærdelig! Vi var nødt til at købe ekstra ting, og ingen vil refundere os dette.

Fordele: Intet. Flyvningen er aldrig sket. Jeg gik glip af starten på min tur i Namibia. Endelig var nødt til at leje en bil og chauffør sammen med 2 andre mennesker og køre i 8 timer til Windhoek.
Ulemper: Det faktum, at jeg blev bumpet fra flyet, fordi flyet allerede var fuldt, og derefter blev strandet i Maun for en anden nat uden udsigt til en flyvning den 3. Dag.
Ulemper: Min luft var i stykker. Flyet var kvalmende. Flypersonalet var yderst uhøflige. Der blev tilbudt drikkevarer og mad til nogle passagerer, men ikke til andre. Flypersonalet talte ikke på engelsk og syntes ikke at være ligeglade, hvis nogen forstod, hvad de sagde på spansk. Flyet var gammelt og uhyggeligt udseende.
Fordele: Ingen forsinkelser. Effektiv måltidetjeneste.
Ulemper: Kabinepersonalet kunne være lidt venligere.
Det var nemt at tjekke ind online, men det er ikke muligt at udskrive et boardingkort, så det var stadig nødt til at stå i kø i lufthavnen.

Du kan ikke foretage online check-in med dette flyselskab, så du bør være check-in personligt tidligt for at vælge dine pladser. Ellers kan de give dig nogle virkelig ceaappy sæder.
