Fordele: Crew was very helpful, they helped with our issues. But the technical issues that they were having when checking everybody in, was insane! Arrived at 9am when flight was 12:30, I got my boarding pass at 12:05.
Then crew had to delay for 2 hours in a half .
Ulemper: Maybe having an IT technician on sight. Someone who understand the software you use because it kept crashing. Other than that, it was great
Fordele: Crew was professional courteous and it was a relaxed setting. Bahamasair is getting better and better.
Ulemper: Boarding announcement was a bit low.
Ulemper: This airline does not care about punctuality. Flight times are approximate. They are all way too relaxed and expect flights to be late. No explanation. No apology. They fly jets and props and one never knows what equipment they choose to fly on a particular day/
Fordele: I liked that they allowed me to catch an earlier flight without cost.
Ulemper: The flight being on time could’ve been better.
Fordele: I liked that I was getting to my destination!
Ulemper: The space! I felt like a sardine in a can. The air system wasn’t pushing much air. So it was hot and tight!
Ulemper: The flight was very late and not a lot of info shared as to why. Nearly missed my connection!

Ulemper: 7 hour delay due to weather. Rebooked everyone on later flight. Despite the weather, they kept everyone informed, boarding was fast and bag arrival was fast.
Ulemper: Flight was delayed again. At the actual flight departure time I went to ask at the desk how long the delay would be and I was told there was no delay! This right after they announced that the incoming flight should be landing soon. When I questioned further I got an eye roll. Bahamasair sucks!
Ulemper: Bahamas Air has a poor on time record and always blames it on a rotational issues. Poorly run airline.
Fordele: Comfort level was ok.
Ulemper: Flight was an hour late landing. It was late taking off, plus we sat for 15min on plane before taking off and after landing. At no point was there any acknowledgement, apology or explanation of the delays. Very frustrating.
Ulemper: Flight delayed for an hour and we were told only 10 mins before the original flight home. Also, we already signed our seat at ticketing but once we got on board were told flight attendant will assign us seats.... It was chaotic.
Ulemper: Gate agents very rude. Gate on board didn’t match what was announced on PA which was different from what actual gate was.

First flight of the day delayed?
Ulemper: No excuse to be the first flight of a day to be delayed. Then they wasted more time by loading the people into different seats. We were told the flight wasnt full so the capt wanted us all to the back??? Well, the flight was pretty freaken full anyway, sooo more wasted time.
Bahamas air is the worst
Fordele: I have to use this airline all the time as they have the routes and times I need. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a flight that was on time. Terrible and disorganized.

Ulemper: Flights were delayed, baggage lost, employees rude and unwilling to help, check in process chaotic and took 3 hrs, flight was over booked with multiple delays,, poor customer service overall
Fordele: It was my 1st ride in a turbo prop in many years. It was smooth and surprisingly quiet. I have about 3 million miles, mostly crossing oceans, so this was a treat for sure. Crew was professional. The peanuts were awesome!

Ulemper: Bahamasair flight delayed 2 hours. why are they always late?? terrible set of steps up to plane to load passengers. Person in front of me had to help older person with limp and broken arm.

Fordele: The flight attendants were very polite and tried to be as accommodating as possible.
Ulemper: Flight delay due to mechanical issues. Airline attendant over the loud speaker said that the delay was due to mechanical malfunction, if they could get it up and running they would let us know in an hour. If not the next flight would be in 4-5 hours if they could make it at all and if they couldn’t no other flights would be available until Wednesday,( our flight was on Sunday). The hours passed without updates from the staff. When they did give information it was incorrect but above all there attitudes were appalling. The airport had basically closed, no food/restaurants were available. We weren’t able to leave because customs had already left for the day so reentery was impossible. When asked how they planned on eventually getting us home there was no response. When asked what we should do for food since there were many small children on the flight, they simply shrugged their shoulders. We ended up being delayed 4 hours only to be boarded onto a plane with no air conditioning (which was the original problem as to why we didn’t leave earlier) that still wasn’t fixed. Then sat on the tarmac for 30 minutes for another unknown delay. It wasn’t to wait on another plane because we were the only plane in the entire airport. Delays happen but Bahamasair handled the entire situation poorly and without any care or compassion for their passengers. The staff seemed to have a huge chip on their shoulders from the beginning.
12 hour delay
Fordele: We had a 12 hour delay. Most of the time you cant blame the airline. Operations aren't always smooth. Working at an airline, i understand this, but their communication was horrible and customer service left plenty to be desired. Needless to say i will not be flying bahama air again as i hear this is the norm.
Ulemper: I am very DISPLEASED with my experience with Bahamas air. First of all I called reservations to request transportation to flight gates for my fiance who is a post surgery patient and cannot walk long distances along with an aisle seat. The lady I spoke to told me to expect an email from them to confirm my requests and I Never received an email and the wheelchair was never in place for him. W1e had to walk to all of our destinations which is VERY UNSAFE as a post surgery patient who has incisions on both sides of his abdomen !! Secondly, my flight was delayed for 3 hours and to top it off BAHAMASAIR LOST MY LUGGAGE !! I am so upset and it is really a set back...

Ulemper: The employees attitudes we're horrible. They were less than eager to help anyone as the aircraft was delayed again by an hour and a half. They refused to tell anyone information and when asked they said they didn't know. Then just threw there hands up and rolled their eyes. Flight was delayed both coming and going with Bahama Airlines.
Fordele: Short flight!
Ulemper: Multiple flight delays with zero communication from staff at aircraft. Two planes from Nassau bot late. Passengers transferred from one plane to another. First plane arrives before second however we were told that even though all the passengers had been transferred to second plane they were unable to transfer us back to the first plane. The first plane ended up leaved to go back to Nassau empty and we we're all forced to wait for the second plane. Flight crew we're disorganized, confused and not on the same page.
Today was simply the best!
Fordele: 2nd time this summer that I travelled with Bahamasair and the boardiGN was early and doors closed on time. The flight attendants are always beautiful. The announcements were on point and the ride was amazingly smooth. Thank you. Proud of my airline today. They are riding to the top.
Ulemper: No food service but that’s normal for a short flight.
Ulemper: They pulled out are perfectly packed fishing poles and Spears. They where in a PVC pipe capped off at the ends. They jammed 3 fishing poles back in there broke 1 150 lb rod tip four inches off, also completely tore the eye off one other and the eye of the other pole in half. We were not able to fish for six days we were there too fish. They also broke one of the Barbs off our three prong Speers so only one of us could Spearfish at a time. Besides being in the Bahamas with my family they completely screwed our whole trip up. There was absolutely no reason for it. We pack them awesome to wear all they had to do was pull them out and put them back in they just didn't want to care at all and broke our stuff.
Ulemper: Our flight was delayed a half an hour only to get on the plane and sit there for another half an hour with no air sweating.
Delays, stifling hot plane, rude staff
Fordele: I didn’t die
Ulemper: The plane had duct tape everywhere. The AC didn’t work. We took off 90 minutes late. The flight attendants broke about 10 FAA regulations - standing in the aisle when we actually landed, bulkhead passengers had bags by their feet’s and laps. I was scorned for not putting my sunshade up though. Ridiculous.
