Fordele: the plane and the crew were great
Ulemper: There is really no vegan food on board in spite of my advance request. The transfer to T2 experience at AUH is not good and when you get there the lounge and the cafe are closed. The entertainment system has extremely limited choice/variety.
Fordele: Food was so good! Airplane was nice.
Staff were friendly.
Ulemper: Nothing. Every thing excellent
Except unfortunate DELAY all went well.
Fordele: I liked all from salutation at boarding desk to leaving the air craft.

Ulemper: Departured 40 min later while we were seated waiting on the aircraft. It was also really hot. Then, before landing, had to circle over the airport half hour because did not have space to park.
Biman blocked my ticket
Ulemper: My ticket weas rescheduled through Kayak and it was showing updates on kayak apps. Unfortunately, at airport Biman could not find my ticket and informed me that it got blocked. I had to pay $80 to activate the ticket.
Fordele: Cabin staff were good

Decent flight - some room for improvement
Fordele: It's a short flight but really nice to get a meal. Staff were friendly and plane was clean and comfortable.
Ulemper: Line ups a check in counters are not easy to navigate. Plane also left delayed and didn't even start boarding until 10 minutes before departure time.

Ulemper: Male Cabin crew were very dismissive and not helpful. I asked to borrow a pen 2 times and was ignored, then the gentleman in front of me asked and was given a pen. Incredible! I asked for water, received a strange look and was given nothing. I heard the attendant speak English so I know he understood me. overall service was terrible.

Fordele: I really felt like the plane was going to drop in mid air at any time.
Worst airline ever !!!
Ulemper: Flight was delayed by ~3 hours due to runway closure. Missed connecting flight from Kolkata, and Biman Bangladesh didn't take any responsibility.
Biman; consistently bad
Fordele: The price. Biman Bangladesh offers the best fares which is the only reason anyone would choose to fly with them.
Ulemper: Biman bangladesh airlines are consistently late. Almost all of their employees display laziness. Check-in and boarding are never easy or pleasant.
Ulemper: Shaking a lots... Snacks are too poor...
Ulemper: The flight was massively delayed.

Ulemper: Flight attendants needs to smile little more.
Nice Flight & Pro Crew from BKK-DAC
Fordele: Meal and snack was tasty and piping hot. Plane was brand new 737-800 in great shape. Entertainment system worked as described although there were some glitches with movie playback and the Moving Map program. The flight departed BKK on time! Crew were pro and attentive.
Ulemper: Bit of a hard landing in Dhaka, but maybe that's how the pilots have to do it?
It Was Ok
Fordele: The lunch was fresh and very tasty. The personal entertainment system worked well and there was a good variety of programmes. The plane itself was a brand new Boeing 737-800 and was in very nice shape. The crew announcements were consistent and thoughtful.
Ulemper: The service was okay. Not great, but satisfactory. The flight departed 45 minutes later than scheduled time. This seems to be the rule rather than the exception. Not sure if this is a Dhaka Airport problem or a Biman problem. Or a bit of both. The landing in Bkk was hard. The pilot pulled the brakes quickly and forcefully immediately after landing. Not sure why.

Ulemper: Disorganized boarding, pretty dated interior.
Fordele: Station manager, Mr. Habibur Rahman was very helpful to reschedule ticket. He is very cordial and cooperative. We wish BG has more people like him.
Cabin Crew Kobita and Taslim was good and Captain Enam is the best.
Cabin was clrean.
Ulemper: Inside temperature was very cold and there was not enough blanket for the passengers. But Ms. Kobita was apologing on behalf of BG. Kualampur BG staff did not search much and said no seat availavle on 27 February. But station master Habibur Rahman helped us get three seats. When we were in the plane we saw one fourth seat was empty.
Fordele: We hit bad turbulence just up from Calcutta. But the pilot used his skills to get us to a new altitude and the flight smoothed out. Kudos to the captain and his crew. Good job.....................I don't like that we paid good money for the flight and flew on a Bombardier Dash-8 rather than a Boeing 737-800 like on the way to Calcutta.
Ulemper: Snack was really bad (white bread, mystery filling) and some dry cake. They could do better. Maybe shingara or chanachur, or even peanuts. Or even potato chips.............I liked that the flight departed on time.
Fordele: The crew were very responsive, very willing to attend to our requests. The equipment were in very good shape, and working as expected.
Killing Us Softly With Knock-Down Spray
Fordele: - The entertainment/distraction module was modern and functioning. Its UI (User Interface) was excellent. There was even a USB port, great for looking at images. The movies available were up-to-date. - The aircraft, a Boeing 737-800, was fresh off the assembly line. It even had that new-airplane smell. None of the seats were busted. Yet.
Ulemper: - Mosquitoes infested the jet bridge and the plane. Never seen anything like it. While that was bad enough, the crew began spraying a toxic knock-down cocktail over our heads. The fellow sitting next to me, an Indian, said 'This would never happen in India. People would refuse to fly until the problem was resolved. In India we have standards.' I said 'That's all well and good, but we're not in India. We're in Bangladesh, and people have become inured to unpleasantness. Even me.' Now, my aim's not to pick on Biman. Perhaps the mosquito problem is Dhaka Airport's responsibility and they've clearly dropped the ball. But c'mon, spraying a poisonous mosquito killer INSIDE the cabin filled with passengers? Get real. - The hard and fast landing in Kolkata. Felt like we were hitting the runway too fast. There was a slight bounce. It took a while for the reverse thrusters and brakes to come on. Sure, I'm not a pilot, and to a pilot perhaps this landing was totally normal and within protocol. As a passenger though, I was a bit spooked. I thought 'Gee, I hope this is a looong runway.' Also, the pilot kept saying 'Inshallah.' Inshallah this, Inshallah that. Inshallah translates roughly to 'God willing.' Faith is a personal thing and to each their own. However, I want to have faith that this plane's going to land safely based on the pilot's skill, not on God's will. - The meal. More of a snack, really, and that's OK given the short flight. But the Wonder Bread mystery meat sandwich was disappointing and totally unnecessary. Biman should serve tasty Bangladeshi snacks (chanachur, jhal muri, phuchka, shingara, etc.) rather than poor attempts at Western food -- especially if Biman wants to be taken seriously as the pride of Bangladesh's skies. The dislikes far outweigh the likes this time round. We'll seriously contemplate flying Biman again.
Well equipped flight and amenities
Fordele: Food provided on plane and dinner and breakfast included at Dhaka airport in transit area. If you have a visa you can stay in a hotel but I didn't want to pay for the visa on arrival.
Ulemper: Airport is full of mosquitoes
Fordele: The cabin crew were inattentive. Call buttons went unanswered or were deliberately left. The service was basic. The crew allowed economy class passengers to continuously use our business passengers toilets and spaces, frequenting my space which was an annoyance. The toilet I used were a total wreck with cabinet panel doors left open. On a second visit it was all too apparent that someone had urinated all over the commode and the open panel door. Ridiculous is an understatement ! Not enough due courtesy or cooperation was extended to us the business class passengers when we were trying to stow away our hand luggage. To serve a plate of open mixed nuts then take off is a nonsense as I saw how those plates slid off and caused messes on passengers within my view. The business class seating did not recline enough. The entertainment on offer was totally substandard for the well travelled international passenger whom is woed by other carriers. On my return trip there was no entertainment at all on offer, very strange. Biman is a joke !!! The very dated aircraft interior left everything to be desired. I have deliberately kept many snapshots as evidence. Business class passengers pay that extra for a reason. The whole compliment of passengers for the entite plane were boarded and unboarded through our cabin areas, totally unacceptable and unjustified. The time I tried to purchase two on board duty free items, surprise surprise, yet again was told some nonsense and it was yet again another negative an experience. So overall, I will endeavour never ever to make the mistake of flying with any such substandard an airline whom a-z seem to be either be guided by or employ "clowns" whom are not in touch with the realities and ongoing standards being maintained by other carriers.
Issues need addressing
Fordele: For supposedly business class, the biman experience was SUB-standard. Those with authority to bring about changes to improve standards, must act soon. Study and implement how competitors are conducting themselves a to z, apart from the space of my seating, all else failed......from the greet, the assistance in storing hand luggage, to the food served and the.dared "entertainment" on offer. ALL need to improve!!!
Another wretched flight on Biman
Fordele: Nice companion in seat next to me
Ulemper: Dreadful food in business for a dinner flight. Plastic wrapped pieces of white bread with mysterious 3 mm thick substance inside. Pilot apparently aborted landing and did a go around with 45 degree steep turn with extreme nose up attitude. Wow. No explanation of any kind. Seats are worn out in business class. Strong cigarette smoke like stink in cabin. Apparently results from heating elements in oven. Flight staff sprays fumigation bomb inside cabin. Mosquitoes in cabin were robust and impossible to kill. They seem to like.

Biman blokerede min billet
Ulemper: Min billet blev ændret gennem Kajak, og den viste opdateringer om kajak-apps. Desværre kunne Biman ikke finde min billet i lufthavnen og informerede mig om, at den blev blokeret. Jeg var nødt til at betale $80 for at aktivere billetten.
Fordele: Kabinepersonalet var god

Ulemper: Fly forsinket 8 + timer, ingen oplysninger i betragtning Tilbud om bord engelsk underholdning var en vittighed.

Udmærket fly - noget plads til forbedring
Fordele: Det er en kort flyvetur, men virkelig rart at få et måltid. Personalet var venligt og flyet var rent og komfortabelt.
Ulemper: Opstilling af indcheckningstællere er ikke nemme at navigere i. Flyet forlod også sent og begyndte ikke engang at gå om bord før 10 minutter før afgangstidspunktet.
Meget, meget grundlæggende
Ulemper: Hytten var meget afvisende og ikke hjælpsom. Jeg bad om at låne en pen 2 gange og blev ignoreret, så den herre foran mig spurgte og fik en pen. Utroligt! Jeg bad om vand, fik et mærkeligt udseende og fik ikke noget. Jeg hørte svaret tale engelsk, så jeg ved, at han forstod mig. Den generelle service var forfærdelig.

Biman; konsekvent dårligt
Fordele: Prisen. Biman Bangladesh tilbyder de bedste priser, hvilket er den eneste grund, alle ville vælge at flyve med dem.
Ulemper: Biman Bangladesh flyselskaber er konsekvent sent. Næsten alle deres medarbejdere udviser dovenskab. Check-in og boarding er aldrig nemt eller behageligt.
