Ulemper: Staff seemed confused and would not let us seat at our assigned seats which we picked in order to accommodate our baby. Instead they put us in an even worse spot and decided to ignore the people that took out seats and left them be.

Ulemper: Check-in took 1 hour and 30 mins. Single Check in desk for economy and business, long line. Flight went late by 50 mins on departure

Ulemper: I wanted to note that while screaming at gate D1 the stuff was beyond horrible. Lazy to talk, a lady who was on the screaming machine kept making nasty comments, really inappropriate addressing foreigners and people who speak Bulgarian. I found it highly disturbing, border line harassing. You can’t work customer service and be such a nasty grumpy person. Everywhere in the world that attitude won’t be allowed, or sanctions must apply. The lady who was collecting money for the checked bag was extremely rude and lazy. Almost kicked me out for not paying for my checked bag online. Excuse me? Why is she there then?
The flight was fine. However, the flight attendance slipped the last 2 rows with drinks. Please make sure that the people who work at Sofia airport get some kind of basic human training. Unfortunately, they do not wish to make you feel welcomed or cared for.

Ulemper: Everything! The flight from Sofia (after flying in a plane that looked like a bus from the 80s), was late over two hours. Bulgarian airlines lied to us in Sofia that we would be rerouted on other airlines and find out our new tickets only at transfer desks in milan. There were NO transfer desks

Ulemper: This airline and airport is from two centuries ago. Seats were super crammed and we waited in the heat NEXT to the plane to board for good 10min
Fordele: Not much.
Ulemper: The flight was delayed with over an hour. No apologies were offered. I was not even offered a drink until I asked (and I was in business class).
Ulemper: There was delay of 2 hours with any notice.
Fordele: They didn't cram us into the transport vehicle like sardines
Ulemper: We need special assistance for my wife boarding the plane and didn't get it from Airline

Ulemper: not polite. no leg space at all compared to other airlines and worst of all they made me put my only backpack under the seat and be uncomfortable, where most people have 2 carry-ons large size and no one told them to check the bag for free so that there will be space on the overhead compartment
Ulemper: My baggage got lost two times in a row with Aeroflot. Terrible experience, bad food.

Ulemper: Too small place for legs in the cabin for such a long flight. Very uncomfortable
Good experience on an empty plane
Fordele: We were just 10-15 people on the plane and everyone has its own row of seats. A nice sandwich + soft drink/wine + coffee/tea was provided quickly after take off. Then the lights were dimmed so the people could rеst for few hours till landing. Nice prompt service.
Ulemper: Uncomfortable weared off seats and no entertainment system.
Fordele: The sandwich looked dry, but was actually very good.
Ulemper: Uncomfortable seats. They are like benches. For 2-3 hours it’s OK, but could be improved.

Ulemper: Seating was awful, did not enough room behind seat in front to use laptop when front seat was not reclined. Not enough space to recline my seat. Meal inadequate. Service poor compared to flight to Bulgaria. However I am glad I did not select Ryan air and get stranded.

Bulgaria air booked a new reservation and I had to wait 6h on Berlin airport.
Fordele: Once on board we flu fast
Ulemper: The flight was delayed by over 2 hours and no information was given at all.
Ulemper: Flight was delayed two and half hours and then stupid excusing.
Fordele: Horrible. Don't book with this ariline.
Ulemper: Although we were checked in, the flight was oversold and prior to boarding at the gate, they told us we can't board the flight. Our luggage had to be also taken off the flight and we were not given a flight till the next day. As a result we missed our connections, had to book an additional hotel last minute. Bulgaria Air had no even a customer service desk at the airport!!!!

12 hr delay, no updates, poor communication
Ulemper: No one told me why or how long the flight would be delayed. I got at the airport at 9am for a 12:45pm flight, the plane didn't take off till 9:30pm. Air Bulgaria didn't update Barcelona Airport so everyone had to assume the flight could take off any minute and spend a long day at the gate. Avoid Bulgaria Air.
Short flight to Burgas
Fordele: The crew was friendly, the plane was cool.
Fordele: Everything went smoothly. They offered a complimentary snack and had an on time flight. Would fly again.
Ulemper: The airline didn't offer online check in from out flight from Athens to Sofia, but that seemed to be because of travel outside of the schengen zone.
Fordele: They were on time, free drink and foot no chargebo
Ulemper: No movie screen
The flight was late
Fordele: The crew was very nice.
Ulemper: The check in started late, the gate was changed, the flight was late by more than an hour.
Ulemper: Overall cleanliness of the cabin was very poor.
Fordele: We wish companies who share would advertise who they are partners with & that the other companies have your information when using their airline. We finally found the representative to Air Belin to check us in at the Frankfurt Airport to find out we will be flying with Balkan Airline at another terminal. The same thing happened on the way back. Luckily we arrived at the airport early both times to make sure we were flying. But getting information from one airline to another is hard when your booking # & flight number is different for each airline, & when you call the airline they tell you to go to the airport as they cannot help you over the phone. The flight was find but to board is another.
Ulemper: Crew was not sympathetic towards mom with baby. No help with stroller. Airport agent decided to add stroller as checked luggage causing confusion and distress during short connection window to next flight.
Fordele: - on time (even earlier) - fast and convenient boarding - nice and friendly staff

Delayed take off

Ulemper: The boarding was a mess, because they decided to consolidate the passengers of two planes, so most of the seats were double booked and they were struggling to find seats. The flight was delayed with one hour because they were looking for lost passengers. Complete mess!
