Ulemper: Perfect flight!
Fordele: The pilot was kind and to the point.
Ulemper: The guy who boarded us told me to wait as his computer could not check me in. 10min later he is rushing me to get on the runway. It was 30min before scheduled take off. I had ordered food and had to cancel my order before the café had finished, so he wasted food and did not get paid and I was hurried and boarded the plane hungry. I probably won't use Cape Air again unless it's an emergency situation
Ulemper: Boarded half hour late. No explanation. Pretty standard on Cape Air these days
Fordele: The pilot was amazing

Ulemper: Seat is not comfortable. It is too hard. My muscles fell asleep

Fordele: I had the opportunity to sit in the co-pilots seat! What an amazing experience.. Flight departed on time too.

Ulemper: One minute into the Flight the Outside Wing Compartment Came unlatched and the Door To it was open about 9” enough that I was watching my Briefcase come close to flying off the plane. Passenger notified the Pilot and they Returned to STL to inspect the Compartment Latch.
Fordele: Fun flight to the cape. Awesome pilot

Great way to save time and money!
Fordele: I flew in from Houston, TX to visit family in Sharon, VT. The closest major airports are Boston and Manchester and both are several hours away. For a few extra bucks, I can fly to Lebanon, NH thanks to Cape Air and save my family members hours and hours of driving. Very convenient. The Cape Air staff and pilots are always super friendly!
Ulemper: The plane can be kind of loud; it is certainly a good idea to pack hearing protection.

Good service, smoke diminished the scenery
Fordele: Flight from Havre to Billings was fine, from check in through security and to the flight. Smoke from CA, OR, NV fires really limited the view, but CapeAir did fine with their service
Ulemper: Seats are a little small, but that is to be expected in such a small plane. Other than that, the flight was great.
Fordele: Excellent woman taking care of a delayed flight. Handled passenger and boarding process as well as check in beautifully and so kind and efficiently!!
Ulemper: The delay due to mechanical problems

Fordele: Staff were great - courteous, professional and friendly. Plane was a fun experience as always.
Ulemper: Not Cape Air’s fault, but the smoky haze (from fires in CA, OR, NV) diminished some of the long views - vistas were not quite as beautiful as on past flights.
Fordele: Smooth flight. Nice option to fly to small airport closer to home.

Ulemper: Connection booked too close. Missed flight, new flight delayed. Kayak booking does not leave enough time to transfer.

Fordele: Got a shuttle from the plane to my terminal at STL. Very convenient.
Ulemper: Rather loud, but I don’t think there was much the airline could do about that. Maybe earplugs.
Fordele: Flight on time.

Got bumped from a christmas eve flight
Fordele: Crew was pilot and helpful in explaining the situation to me.
Ulemper: Got bumped from a flight to make way for a pilot in training. The fact that this happened on christmas eve made it even worse. Had to wait until boarding to find out that was being bumped and was told I shouldn't have been allowed to check in.
Fordele: Friendly service, helpful, comfortable flight for a small plane. Good pilot, very professional.
Ulemper: My only complaint is when we landed in WestChester we deplaned and had to stand in the -5F wind-chill for a good 10-15 minutes while they unloaded our bags. I don't know why they couldn't have taken us inside to wait.

Fordele: I was pleasantly surprised by everything! It was easy staff was friendly and the piolet was great! What more can be said! Planning on using Cape Air again!
Never received my checked luggage.
Ulemper: I asked the ground crew for a box that I had checked and was told that it would be forwarded to my next flight. It wasn't. Now cape air is telling me the only way I can get it back is to fly to San Juan and pick it up.
Left waiting with no explanation.
Ulemper: We were left waiting after the flight we were booked on took off full. Had to wait another 45min to have a private flight with no copilot.
Cape Air Should Hire Adults (grown-ups) to work at the Gate
Fordele: The ease of changing flights.
Ulemper: Of the three women at the gate one was rude to everyone. The two others seemed ditzy and clueless. The announcements they made were incomprehensible to many in the passenger audience. There was substantial eye-rolling.
Fordele: You see there was a terrible storm that closed the EIS Beef Island Airport. But because I booked through ya'll I was totally screwed. The individual Airlines are not permitted to rebook my ticket because you are a third party carrier. and You would not rebook because the airline could not change the flight status on the first plane from Mayaguez to San Juan - that flight was not cancelled due to the closure but because I would be stuck in San Juan for possibly 2 days with no money and no where to sleep, well you get the point. So InterCaribbean and Cape Air came to the rescue and after a 4-5 hour ordeal and having to travel to Mayaguez airport I am now rebooked.
Ulemper: Y'all and will never ever ever book through a third party again.

Fordele: Shirt flight no food, but bumpy. I almost threw up on a 25 minute flight
Fordele: Hate crew diligently kept me informed of my bag connecting from my 45 minute late "on time" united flight.
Flight cancelled. Missed connecting flight.
Fordele: Still Stuck in Nantucket. Cape Air cancelled my flight and then didn't put me in another. I'm still stuck in Nantucket.

Ulemper: Being delayed and the process of dealing with the delays was a real headache

Fordele: I sat in the copilot seat since plane was so small.
Ulemper: Delayed so I missed my connection in Boston. I ran to catch it but the door was closed and they wouldn't let me on, even though plan was still sitting at the gate. I had 8 min to spare.
Fordele: Ride was smooth.
Ulemper: No information nor staff at counter, so one was uncertain when flight would depart.
Fordele: Flying over the traffic heading to Hyannis where you take the ferry to Hyannis. Experienced pilot who told us the stewardess would be passing out food after we were airborne. Good sense of humor in a 9 passenger plane.
Fordele: Got me to Boston, eventually, safely. Nice view from low altitude. Plane provides for an intimate experience with pilot and fellow passengers
Ulemper: 2.5 hour delay with no information or confusing information about departure prospects.
Fordele: I love the small planes and the overall friendliness of the pilot and the other employees - reservationists, ground crew, and others in the terminal.
Once I landed in Nantucket, I had a 1 1/2 hour layover to Hyannis. When I went to check in with the reservationist, she asked if I wanted to get to Hyannis faster or if I had business on the island. I said I would like to get to Hyannis as quickly as I could, so she put me on the next flight which left within 15 minutes. After a long flight from LA to Boston, then to Nantucket, and then to Hyannis, it was nice to get home earlier than expected.
I live on the Cape, and I love that I can fly into Hyannis. Then I only have a 25 minute ride home.

Fordele: Flights across the east coast were delayed, luckily ours was only 15min late to take off.
Ulemper: Landing crew in Boston was rude, bossy, and repetitively sciolding, just because I touched the door of the plane. No instructions nor to or warnings were posted, but he kept harassing me and the other passengers.about "our safety".
