I had no complains
Hotel was very clean. My room (king) was large and bathroom was large with great rain shower and bathtub. Great location. Staff was very helpful. Lobby bar was nice. Great place to relax after long day in the city. I will be staying here on future trips.
Breakfast was overpriced. Go to corner deli instead.

When I was waiting in line, they asked someone else if they needed help before they asked me and I was standing there atleast 2 minutes before that person came in. Don't be so quick to judge someone based on how they dress. I am a African American young professional and my friends are too and I felt judged because I did not wear a suit and tie. I was also asked if I was "sure" I wanted valet because of the price; I make over 100K a year, don't judge treat everyone as an equal. Fix that and you'll have a great hotel, I still enjoyed my stay, but that was because I was with friends.
The location was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The building was newly renovated and had a nice lounge area, with interesting modern, funky design elements.
Internet was $18 for 24 hours, which is exceptionally high in my experience. The Queen Superior room that we stayed in was also very small. The bathroom did not have a working fan for ventilation, and the faucet and mirror was outside of the actual bathroom and shower. The shower was also quite small.

I purchased a "standard room" for 3 nights for a business stay. In any other hotel I've been in a "standard room" has a bath tub, washcloths, and either a king bed or two queen beds. The room I got was something akin to what might find at a Japanese hostel for backpackers or on a bad cruise ship. It was about 150 sq feet in total. The carpet was brown and cream speckled low shag. The bed was only full-sized. There was no bath tub but instead only a small shower with no light in it. It was more along the lines of something you'd find in a mechanic's shop to wash the grease off. The view was of the House of Blues roof and the noise from the concert on Friday penetrated into the room as did the escapades of the very rambunctious couple in the room above mine. The place was under remodel while I was there and construction equipment, plastic sheeting, and saw noise was a daily event. The front desk kept my credit card on file for incidental expenses but given the absent mini-bar fridge I'm not sure what I might have used that would require payment. More importantly though there was no place to store any food that I might have gotten from elsewhere. They charged $$52-69/night for parking and then "accidentally" charged me for 4 nights parking despite that I was only there 3 nights. They refused to change my room stating that since it was purchased through a third party, their hands were tied. They also said the same thing for refund/comp of any monies. They had no explanation for why the room was so bad in the first place. They also had no real answer other than, "We're sorry for the inconvenience" though when it came to demonstrating any tangible degree of sorrow or making amends by changing the room to a better one, their sorrow seemed to evaporate. I stayed here a few years ago when it was the Sax and my stay then was fantastic. Since being taken over by Chicago Hotel/Autograph, this place is the dumps.
Inconsistency with housekeeping and room cleanliness. Had 2 rooms, both were upgraded to Deluxe Riverview. One room had one robe and upgraded bath towels. The other room had no robes and low quality bath towels. Toilet never cleaned during 3 night stay.
We loved the room and how friendly the staff was. Not to mention the pretty great view!

Loved the bed and pillows. So comfortable. Great location to everything! Lobby being updated but no problem. Staff were efficient and friendly. Had a wonderful time. Would definitely stay again.

I had a great stay. The hotel is in a great location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. The only negative was the construction of the new lobby area. Other than that it was excellent. I'll be back.

I bought my tickets on Kayak. I called to confirm my room a few days before. I feel I was given the run around. It is my opinion there should be better communication between kayak and the hotel. Why does the customer have to jump through hoops to confirm a room? There should be better communication between the two.
The check-in person was amazing. She spent time with us pointing out where everything was and what to do. The location was perfect for sight seeing. Room was clean.
The other staff didn't seem to care. Room was really small, miserable view. This was not up to the Marriott standard, stay somewhere else.
