It is worth the price!
Fordele: Price and flight time
Ulemper: Need to carry and recheck my luggage
Fordele: Everything was okay as far as crew and boarding.
Ulemper: Delay issue not a big deal but the landing was obviously a new pilot or some issues... might be good to look into.
Fordele: The crew was very unhelpful when we had an issue with our checked bags not having been included in the ticket. We ended up having to pay $250 out of pocket at the airport to check our bag, as they made us pay $10 per kg even though we should have had the first 15kg for free. The tickets were only $60. By the time this was told to us, we had no time to make alternative arrangements with another flight, and canceling our tickets would have incurred a $100 fee. Not canceling them and just taking another flight would have cost us a $60 no-show fee plus the $100 cancelation fee. Again, the tickets for this flight were only $60, so that was clearly ridiculous. They wouldn't even let us buy a seat for the bag, which would have cost far less. This was highway robbery, and nothing less. We had no choice but to pay $250 for the bag or pay $200-320 in fees plus tickets for another airline.
Ulemper: Customer service was terrible. The website was terrible. Nobody on the phone speaks English, so if you have an issue you can't do anything about it until you're at the airport, by which time all your options for resolving the issue are nonexistent.
Fordele: The plane is punctual.
Ulemper: Provide some light refreshments or some small food on the plane as it's a 6hour flight. Shouldn't be charging this in flight.
Fordele: Nothing stood out really.
Ulemper: Boarding was supposed to start at 6:35 but started at 6:50 and the flight was scheduled for 7:05. But this didn't bother me too much.
Ulemper: Everything was fine.
Fordele: The ground staff were lovely.
Ulemper: The flight was almost two hours delayed causing me to miss my connection.
Fordele: I was running late (for an Eastar international flight from Narita) and was sure check-in had closed, so I was relieved to get there and find out they stay open until 45 mins before departure. Even though I was one of the last to check in, the seat I was assigned was in a really good spot!
Ulemper: They didn't offer any snacks, and although they did come down the aisle with water at one point, you had to actively flag them down for it (and there clearly wasn't enough for everyone). In comparison, Jin Air offered a simple meal and drinks to everyone on the going flight (but felt more cramped).
Fordele: Everything went very smoothly. Great service from the crew as they efficiently boarded everyone.
Fordele: Comfortable seating. Efficient load and unload times

Ulemper: If blankets were given during the flight. It was cold inside the plane from the start
Fordele: Nothing special to like on this flight.
Ulemper: I always choose aisle, the men crew was particularly disrespectful since every single time the pass through the aisle, they will hit me, I guess could be a cultural thing since I live in the same country than them and not respecting the space of other people is a common thing here.
Fordele: The flight was cheap. I suppose it works out okay for most people most of the time.
Ulemper: Eastar has no service counter in the Gimhae airport. They didn't send an email with an option for advance check-in, and didn't specify how much in advance to arrive. I thought I had plenty of time but could not figure out how to get my boarding pass and had to buy a new ticket on another airline.
Fordele: The checkin agent was extremely helpful and expedited my checkin very efficiently after my transfer from MIAT.
Ulemper: Nothing.
Ulemper: Legroom sucked

At the airport I could get only no tilt seats.
Nickel and Dime To Death
Fordele: Nothing about this experience.
Ulemper: 15kg Check Bag Limit. Charge for food on a 5 hr International Flight. Miss handled my flights so I am waiting for them to retrieve my luggage and get me a boarding pass. The worst in South East Asia. Not worth the discounted ticket price.
Late take off, late Landing, little information provided by the crew
Fordele: Nothing really because arriving almost an hour late and then dealing with Customs made for an awful trip
Ulemper: Late boarding, late take off, late Landing.. Little information of why and no consideration of our time or the fact that we would arrive so much later than I paid for

Ulemper: Short flight + budget company = no entertainement.. which we new prior! Good company :)
Return flight
Fordele: Aircraft was good and in good condition. Prompt departure and speedy disembarkation.
Ulemper: All was okay. Just a little cramped.

Fordele: How quickly people actually got into their seats once onboard.
Ulemper: First, there is no organization. They announce boarding and everyone just runs to the gate. For a 6 hour flight, they only served water. The seats are narrow and jam packed. Very uncomfortable ride.
Good low-cost option to/from Korea

Ulemper: Only small cups of water served on 3.5 hour flight

Worst flight ever
Ulemper: First, the check in was late almost making me late for the boarding. Second I sat on the tarmac for 16 hours waiting to take off and we never did. I haven't gotten my money back yet and I'm getting the run around from them about it. I will never fly with them and never recommend it either. Lastly I wasn't able to fly out of Korea because they wouldn't put on another flight. Truly garbage airline.

No Frills
Fordele: Eastar Jet has low fairs yet quality service. All extras, such as food or drinks, baggage, etc. are at additional charge. No first or business class on my flight. No entertainment but that's why we have laptops. For customers wanting a good price to get from point A to point B with good service pick Eastar Jet.

Ulemper: Jeg vælger altid ganggang, mandens besætning var særligt respektløs, da de rammer mig, hver gang de passerer gennem reolgangen, Jeg tror, at det kunne være en kulturel ting, da jeg bor i det samme land end dem, og det er almindeligt at undlade at respektere andre menneskers plads her.
Fordele: Flyet var billigt. Jeg går ud fra, at det fungerer fint for de fleste mennesker det meste af tiden.
Ulemper: Eastar har ingen servicetæller i Gimhae lufthavn. De sendte ikke en e-mail med mulighed for forudgående check-in og angav ikke, hvor meget på forhånd de skulle ankomme. Jeg troede, at jeg havde masser af tid, men kunne ikke finde ud af, hvordan jeg fik mit boardingkort og var nødt til at købe en ny billet på et andet flyselskab.
Fordele: Checkin agenten var meget hjælpsom og fremskyndede min check meget effektivt efter min overførsel fra MIAT.

Ulemper: 15 kg Tjek Bag grænse. Der opkræves gebyr for mad på en 5 timers international flyrejse. Miss håndterede mine fly, så jeg venter på, at de skal hente min bagage og få mig et boardingkort. Det værste i Sydøstasien. Ikke den nedsatte billetpris værd.
Sen start, sen landing, få oplysninger fra besætningen
Fordele: Intet virkelig, fordi de ankom næsten en time for sent og derefter havde at gøre med toldvæsenet lavet til en frygtelig tur
Ulemper: Sen boarding, sen start, sen landing.. Få oplysninger om, hvorfor og ingen hensyntagen til vores tid eller det faktum, at vi ville nå så langt senere, end jeg betalte for.
Fordele: Fantastisk service
Ulemper: Kort sagt fly og budget firma = ingen Underholdningen.. som vi nye før! Godt selskab :)

Ulemper: Første, der er ingen organisation. De annoncerer boarding og alle lige kører til gaten. For en 6 timers flyvetur, de kun serveret vand. Sæderne er smal og marmelade pakket. Meget ubehagelig tur.
