Fordele: Not much.
Ulemper: We flew to India and back from Turkey. Both flights had 2 stops and both times Indigo said we didn’t have a second flight and wouldn’t give us a second boarding pass meaning we had to go out to the check in both times to get our second boarding pass and both times were very problematic. Also we have a 7+ hour international flight on a very small plane with no free food or drinks. Just not a very good flight experience overall.

Ulemper: Extremely bumpy take off and landing. The pilot could do better.
Ulemper: The website does not describe baggage allowance clearly as compared to other airlines. It lists “excess baggage weight” but not the 15kg limit. The choice of 15kg as the limit is a BIG problem for international travelers who may be coming for longer stays. Air India has a much friendlier policy for checked and carryon baggage and I would choose it by far.
We were charged for every kilo even though prepay options online were not user friendly. 4 thumbs down, way down.
Fordele: Did not take the flight as fell sick. Tried working with vayama and Turkish airlines to reschedule this return flight but quoted cost was higher than original price.

Fordele: The seat was really bad and the crew didn't make any effort to dim the lights for about 75% of the journey. I would say an international flight on a low-cost carrier like Indigo should be avoided.
Ulemper: if the cabin crew had been a little more cooperative, this flight could have been better
Gate closed early
Fordele: We arrived at the departure gate at 8 am, to be told it was closed for a flight at 8:25 am.
We had to purchase a replacement flight 12 hours later.

Fordele: Crew was amazing, & purchased food was extraordinary quality.
Ulemper: We traveled with a wheelchair person, but they boarded her separately from the rest. That meant she was without anyone she knew for some time. It'd been better to allow @ least 1 person of her people w/ her while she boarded.
Drunks
Fordele: First flight from Goa to Mumbai was pretty good, I even scored an extra large seat. Boarding was madly chaotic though
Ulemper: The ground crew in Mumbai let on a very drunk group of men who became more and more problematic. Eventually they had to be removed which let to a further delay to an already delayed flight.

Fordele: Budget Indian airline so was good. Good crew .Bus on and off tarmac , Basic food and paid for but fine. Good legroom in XL seats and std seemed ok too compared to some Australian airlines .Was on time so thats all that really mattered

Didn't take the plane
Ulemper: I got sick so I had to leave India. I tried for 5 days in a row to cancel this flight but the cleartrip.com website is just a bad labirinth. You are not able to cancel the flight from mobile( when I was in India), you are not able to access the website from Europe.

Ulemper: Denied boarding. Needed to make it to another flight in Mumbai airport. Need a visa just for transit to my next flight. Disrupted all my travel plans. Had to buy new tickets. Would like a full refund.

Fordele: The staff at the airport check in counter cause too many delays by asking unnecessary questions regarding visa for concerned country, where as they only need to check for onward ticket.
Also, passenger at the back of my seat was causing discomfort by stretching his legs too close to my seat
Ulemper: The staff at the aiport check in counter are not very well trained regarding visa requirements for other countries. The cabin crew needs to better train passengers regarding the amount of space allowed for their seat.

Ulemper: Separate counters for wheel chair passengers as well as bus transport. There were several unruly travellers and it is not fair that ground staff should have to remind passengers of protocol. Separate transport will help.
Fordele: No, not really, especially the boarding crew. Where was chaos and signs of lack of planning. Gate changed towards the end and sequential boarding wasn’t done properly.

Ulemper: Very dismal performance.Copilot was missing in the last minute. incorrect baggage weighing scales.had to pay extra. Plane delayed by 4 hours almost missed my international connection. Very very stressful and unprofessional expression especially. Absolutely would not recommend this airline.
