Fordele: Nice cabin crew, nice boarding, ontime departure, clean aircraft.
Ulemper: Check-in agent at bag drop counter was a sour puss.
Fordele: On time
Ulemper: They don’t offer refunds only vouchers. That robbery for anyone traveling internationally, they cannot use a voucher in a year
Ulemper: Keep it up
Fordele: Price was right. On time.

Fordele: We arrived safely and on time.
Ulemper: The pricing seems low when purchasing the ticket, but we were charged $45/bag for our carryon bags that could easily have fit in the overhead bins (and on a separate flight with another airline that is what we did). Seems like a money grab to charge for the carryon if it weighs more than 7g or whatever small amount. Just take that cost into account when booking your flight.
Fordele: Seat was excellent.
Ulemper: Nothing. Point A to Point B. Get me there on time and in one piece

Fordele: No super comfortable seat but yes great crew.

Ulemper: The person sitting next to me was extra nervous which was a little un nerving

Ulemper: Flight was 90 minutes delayed. No updates in terminal. No apologies from crew
Fordele: The crew were not particularly friendly. They were somewhat abrupt.
Ulemper: The crew’s attitude to passengers and manner of communication. The flight was delayed by about 20 to 25 minutes but there were no announcements about it or apologies for the inconvenience.
Ulemper: No leg room.
Fordele: It is a short trip and it is easy to get on and off the flight without too much hassle. Except when it is raining as you have to walk from the terminal to the plane. No Food or Entertainment is provided as it is such a short flight
Fordele: Value for money flight.
Ulemper: Flight running late causing ongoing difficulties later in the evening. Flight crew could have been more aware and in control of rowdy, annoying passengers causing difficulties for others.
Fordele: Good value flight.
Ulemper: Flight was delayed and then put into stack in Sydney - but given the Sydney weather over the weekend maybe that was to be expected. Flight crew could be more aware of annoying teenagers and others being disruptive in the cabin and painful for other passengers.
Fordele: Early morning flight meant no delays. Walked straight on the flight and we were off. No fuss...
Ulemper: The flight announcements were loud and abrasive which woke everyone sleeping on the early morning flight. No doubt is was that particular cabin manager and not the norm.
Fordele: Efficient, professional crew
Ulemper: More space. Snacks, at least a drink! (that doesn't require more expenditure)
Fordele: Seats okay but would not recline
Ulemper: Our flight was delayed because of poor rostering due to one of the crew being out of hours and another crew member had to be brought from Brisbane to Sydney to join the flight. Not very professional in my eyes.
Ulemper: Boarding was chaotic. They started boarding from the back, which is fine, but never indicated that the forward seats could board and never checked to make sure people were boarding in the proper groups. Terrible process.
Fordele: No the crew weren’t amazing & the seats were just okay. The flight was pretty full. The guy driving made two safe landings at Avalon
Ulemper: Jetstar - c,mon, it’s an airborne bus really.
Fordele: I loved the process and crew communication in consideration of the amount of passengers.
Ulemper: Considering the media coverage of an airborne virus killing people seemingly quickly - I would have expected an airline (travelling from the genesis of the disease) to supply face masks.... the crew and other passengers expressed similar concerns, perhaps a decent consideration.
Fordele: On check in we were offered the extra legroom right at the front, with just the two of us on the row!
Ulemper: I had to claim my bag between Jetstar flights and then go through security again to my second leg....I flew from Hobart to Auckland today. So at Melbourne I spent several hours in the process Of going to claim my bag, going through security again and rechecking it. Horror...terrible experience. I will never fly Jetstar again....they do not transfer bags between the flights on their own airlines which I booked under the same ticket.
Fordele: the crew was amazing
Ulemper: the seats were uncomfortable
Ulemper: Flight cancelled because internet went down on site. However, Virgin Australia and Qantas airlines were able to paper book their passengers and fly to destination. Jet star couldn’t do the same. Even though the internet came back up Jetstar couldn’t complete the passenger flight check in. The Airport staff stated the internet was a risk and instead put 200 people on buses and drove us 5 hours across a 42C desert. Somehow driving across the desert was safer. The icing on the cake was the Internet stayed up for the next hour prior to our bus ride and within the flight crews crew day. So, we could all have flown home with the Jetstar flight crew who actually flew back to Sydney. Yes missed the fireworks and expensive hotel stay on New Years Eve. Finally, Jetstar rebooked is on a flight to Adelaide then to Sydney so we wouldn’t arrive until 945pm. I certainly didn’t appreciate my direct 3 hour flight being turned into a 5 hour bus ride then a 7 hour flight. Oh, please tell them thanks for the piece of cheese and two crackers, apple and apple juice for dinner.
What could be done better.....eliminate Jetstar from your list of service providers.

Ulemper: May be offered water to everyone.
Fordele: Good crew, very friendly. Went above and beyond to find a passenger at baggage claim who left something on board.
Ulemper: Boarding was very delayed.
Fordele: Check-in was amazing, kudos to the reception crew
Ulemper: Choices of food is not much of variety, not of good selection & more so not available when i decided to purchase a small beef pie that is quite costly
Fordele: Easy check in
Ulemper: The seats kinda hard to set on
Ulemper: Airline lost our bags on way to Australia so we had to buy extra clothing and personal items while here. Then airline charges us $65 because our bags are overweight with the things we had to buy because of lost bags.
Fordele: Seat 26A had a faulty back support, with protruding metal spring/wire.
Ulemper: Better maintenance
Ulemper: The crew wasn’t very friendly.
Fordele: Crew always happy and polite.
Ulemper: all travellers were polite this trip, which I’m sure was appreciated by the crew.
Fordele: Just as same as what I expexted as a LCC.
Ulemper: Flight was delayed and additional baggage charge was non-refundable.
Fordele: Crew was great - boarding was efficient and on time
Ulemper: Seats are not comfortable/ergonomic, all movies, tv, games and everything is for purchase - it would be nice to have some free options. Also - no complimentary beverage/snack service.
Fordele: We were given delay updates regularly, even when the delay time remained consistent.
Ulemper: We had to empty our water bottles prior to getting on board which felt like a waste of resources. If it is necessary to do so, maybe it would be beneficial for the staff to let us know why we have to dump clean water down the drain.
Ulemper: plane was over an hr late due to tire needing changing. Staff we unapologetic about it.
Ulemper: All perfect recomendable thanks
Fordele: no amazing crew and no warm and fuzzies
Ulemper: Pre bought meals and wasn't permitted hot chocolate for children. Eventually given and nothing said. On the journey over hot choc offered. Not a big deal. I think you fall down in customer service by not supplying a little like coffee and hot choc and a free snack. Possably will avoid flying Jetstar again. Service is paramount. And no entertainment available because it wasnt a long haul just a short haul though international. Mmmmm no to Jetstar i feel. I own a resort and i know what customer service must feel like.

Fordele: Service was great. Best food hubby and I ever had on a flight, international or domestic!
Ulemper: No issues!
Ulemper: Seating is not spacious. No free snacks or beverages. But the price was right!
Ulemper: tv entertainment,i wish i had realised that there was no TV for the children.

Ulemper: First of all, your selection of food could be way better. You’re traveling between two places that have extensive access to rice - why is your gluten-free menu so poor? Your airline crew are scary and I’m worried that if there was a true emergency none of them would know how to get us off the plane safely.
Fordele: Nothing - terrible airline
Ulemper: In flight entertainment, free water, less strict on carry on weight
